Democrats Escalate Incendiary Rhetoric Against ICE As ‘Resistance’ Campaigns Intensify

In June 2019, first-term Rep. Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), an open borders proponent, declared Border Patrol detention centers at the southern border to be “concentration camps.”
“The fact that concentration camps are now an institutionalized practice in the ‘Home of the Free’ is extraordinarily disturbing, and we need to do something about it,” AOC said in an Instagram video that went viral.
Some three weeks later, a radical leftist and alleged Antifa member decided he would “do something about it,” attacking an ICE facility in Tacoma, Washington while carrying a rifle and incendiary devices.
Someone who said they were friends with the attacker, 69-year-old Willem Van Spronsen, alleged he intended to “provoke a fatal conflict.” That is exactly what happened as Spronsen did not survive the shootout with police that ensued.
Soon after, we learned from his manifesto that he referred to ICE detention centers as “concentration camps.” Though his manifesto didn’t reference AOC directly, the timing of his attack led to speculation that her words motivated Van Spronsen to take action.
Here we are, some six years later, and Democrats are once again escalating their incendiary rhetoric against federal law enforcement officials, with failed 2024 Democrat vice presidential nominee Tim Walz, for instance, recently calling them a “modern-day Gestapo” during a University of Minnesota commencement address.
Walz isn’t the only one. Rep. Dan Goldman (D-NY) went full drama queen during a hastily arranged press conference Thursday, making similar claims while referencing his experiences as a Jewish man:
Rep. Dan Goldman (D-Brooklyn/Manhattan) pulled no punches during an emergency press conference Thursday afternoon after witnessing a group of masked, plainclothes Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents detaining immigrants at routine court appearances Thursday morning.
“This is Gestapo-like behavior, where plainclothes officers wearing masks are terrorizing immigrants who are doing the right thing by going to court, following up on their immigration proceedings, and trying to come into this country lawfully,” Goldman said at the conference, comparing the seizures to the behavior of Nazi Germany’s infamous secret police force.

On Friday, another elected Democrat in this country, San Diego city councilman Sean Elo-Rivera, launched a vicious attack on ICE, referring to them as “terrorists” and urging people to be “fighting back”:

Needless to say, DHS is not amused when this happens, and is quick to point out that “ICE officers are now facing a 413% increase in assaults.” Further, they also set the record straight on the “mask” claim about ICE officers:

The inciteful rhetoric spewed from Walz, Goldman, and other Democrats undoubtedly has motivated left-wing wacktivists to become even more aggressive, hostile, and confrontational, as we’ve seen with their interference in ICE arrests at courthouses, round-ups and stakeouts, which in some instances has allowed suspected illegal immigrant rapists and murders to go free.

Remember: Harris got 75 million votes. Absent any kind of serious look at election fraud (hello, Republican congress), those 75 million voters are still on the rolls and they have not changed their minds. If anything, they are crazier than they were in November. Rioting to stop legal deportations? They are beyond repair, and by extension, the Republic may be as well.
People need to start being held accountable before someone is killed.

Failed vice presidential candidate and Minnesota Governor Tim Walz over the weekend served up a schoolyard political strategy for his fellow Democrats – be “a little meaner” and stand up to “bully” President Donald Trump.
