Far-Left Protesters Block ICE Arrests in Boston – Even Of Accused Child Rapist

This isn’t a protest. It’s obstruction. And the consequences for public safety are real—and growing.

A series of ICE operations in Boston is drawing national attention after videos and firsthand accounts revealed that far-left anti-ICE protesters have repeatedly blocked federal immigration officers from carrying out lawful arrests—even when the targets are convicted criminals, including a child rapist living next to a playground.

On May 30, Fox News reporter Bill Melugin, one of the country’s top immigration journalists, joined ICE agents during a raid in East Boston, where several individuals with prior criminal records were detained. Despite these arrests, Melugin reported that activists in Boston and across the country are committed to interfering with ICE operations and even alerting targets ahead of time.

According to Melugin, one of the individuals protesters helped shield was a convicted child rapist—a Dominican national found guilty of statutory rape of a child under 13. He currently lives next to a playground. ICE confirmed they were executing a final deportation order issued by a federal judge. These are not minor offenses. The list of individuals ICE is targeting is long and dangerous.

Rather than express concern for neighborhood safety, especially for the children playing just feet from this man’s home, activists have allegedly been celebrating their ability to block ICE arrests around the country.

Local reporter John Gately shared footage of the Boston disruption, showing protesters demanding to see warrants and physically interfering with ICE agents as they attempted to carry out arrests.

According to Melugin, ICE sources expressed frustration but not surprise, saying this kind of interference has become routine in cities like Boston, where local leaders are openly hostile to federal immigration enforcement.

Footage from independent journalists shows just how aggressive these protests have become. Activists crowd around ICE vehicles, follow agents, hurl insults, and film every moment for social media clout. This behavior isn’t new—it’s escalating.

The facts aren’t in dispute: a convicted child rapist—living next to a playground—was protected from deportation by a mob of activists. This isn’t a protest. It’s obstruction. And the consequences for public safety are real—and growing.

Arrest them on the spot. These aren’t protesters. They are obstructionists, and deserve to be arrested and prosecuted.

Let them rot in a jail cell for a few years like those persecuted for J6. Let them be forgotten for a few years while ICE cleans the streets of illegals.

A few tasers should get their attention if they block ICE from going after these criminals.

“Someone is going to get hurt.” Yes, the obstructionists are going to get hurt.

    I agree 1000%

Order a dispersal if refused mark them with paint balls containing CS, if still no dispersal employ larger CS canisters alongside concussion grenades into the crowd while rubber shotgun rounds are used on the edges. At this point everyone goes to jail. Use K-9 to nab any runners while keeping up the flow of rubber rounds and CS until the mob surrenders. Use the paintball markings among other factors to assist in ID those who foolishly commit battery on LEO. Take them to federal.detention facility and run them through the federal.not local judicial system.

Not ‘far left’. Just left.

What we have is “Protest Chic”. The same things dimwits wearing dish towels on college campii and so on. Start arresting them on federal charges and it will all go away as the posers love to show up as long as no consequences are to be had.

State sanctioned criminals do not give their victims due process, respect their civil rights or obtain their informed consent. To correct this injustice, states could consider creating a victim and organ donor database and issue official victim ID cards. That way, licensed crime workers can harvest their victims without a lot of hullabaloo. The state might want to consider setting bag limits so as not to deplete the herd.

One! Of! Us!!
One! Of! Us!!
Gooble gobble, gooble gobble,
One! Of! Us!!

If they want to obstruct they should be hog-tied with those plastic zip-tie cuffs and hauled in with the rest of the criminals they’re after. Any that resist should be tased, then hog-tied and hauled in. Also, the US Attorney in that district should go for the maximum sentence every single time.

It’s too bad we can’t deport these leftist idiots (did I repeat myself?) along with the illegals.

ICE was surveilling a murder suspect—and activists spotted them, made a scene, and forced agents to back off the target.

This is probably not a crime. If you become aware of a policeman’s presence you are under no duty to keep quiet. However, …

footage of the Boston disruption, showing protesters demanding to see warrants and physically interfering with ICE agents as they attempted to carry out arrests

…. this is definitely a crime, and the people doing it should have been arrested. I would like to know why they weren’t.

Interference is any act that takes a law enforcement officer’s attention away from the execution of their duties. Even “making a scene” qualifies.

Oh come on, Milhouse, 18 USC Section 15 is pretty clear. If it isn’’t, Here’s the link: https://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/18/part-I/chapter-73 , and it’s from our esteemed host’s own institution.

Not sure what NY and other Northern State LEO lets y’all get by with up there but In Alabama it’s a class C felony to ‘interfere’ with a governmental operation/function. There’s also the potential for a class A misdemeanor if one refuses to ‘assist’ a LEO upon request of LEO. Then there’s the less serious misdemeanor charges for failure to obey LEO basic commands. Florida and GA statutes are similar.

I suspect there’s a good deal more tolerance in NY, CT, PA and NJ for refusal/delay or mouthing off b/c there’s always some ‘Yankee’ who thinks b/c they can mouth off and disregard/disobey LEO back home they can do so down here. It is delightful to see the stunned expressions when they are.told they are being arrested. Even more so when the Yankee tries to tell Bama or FL LEO they ‘can’t arrest them’ and they get to find out the hard way. Please do what the LEO tell you down here in the South and then try to beat the charge in Court b/c down here you won’t beat the ride. Once a LEO down here says you’re going to jail then they will call every LEO in the County if that’s what it takes to put you into the car…assuming they don’t use pepper spray then taser then ‘compliance strikes’ and ‘come along’ joint manipulation to motivate entry into cuffs and into the vehicle.

I still wonder where this attitude that Law Enforcement has any duty to show any rando that walks up a warrant? Seriously, who the fudge are you?

So happy I left this leftist asylum.
