A new interim Senate report, led by Senator Ron Johnson (R-WI), alleges that senior Biden administration health officials were aware of potential heart-related risks (specifically myocarditis and pericarditis) associated with mRNA-based COVID-19 vaccines as early as February 2021, but deliberately delayed warning the public and healthcare providers for several months.
The report’s title is Failure to Warn: How Federal Health Agencies Downplayed the Risk of Myocarditis and Other Adverse Events Following COVID-19 Vaccination. It is truly one of the most disturbing reviews I have read.
In February 2021, Federal health agencies, including the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), were notified by Israeli health authorities about significant cases of myocarditis, particularly in young people who had received the Pfizer vaccine.
“The federal government was very well aware of the myocarditis signal, particularly in young men, as early as February [2021],” Johnson told The Daily Wire, adding that Israeli officials were informing the United States about side effects they were noticing.In late February, a CDC official named Lauri Markowitz, who co-led the Vaccine Safety Technical Work Group (VaST), sent an email concerning the “draft minutes and summary report from the VaST call this week” and stressed that “all VaST documents and communications are confidential.”According to that email, the call included an update about nearly 1,000 death reports to VAERS following vaccination. Notably, the email said that in the cases where cause of death was “known,” it was “often cardiovascular”…Israel rolled out vaccinations quicker than the United States, so Israeli health officials saw adverse effects sooner.
The Israeli officials specifically called out their concerns about the number of cases of myocarditis in young adults.
Over the following months, U.S. officials continued to receive data showing a safety signal for heart inflammation in young adults.
“Even though CDC and FDA officials were well aware of the risk of myocarditis following COVID-19 vaccination, the Biden administration opted to withhold issuing a formal warning to the public for months about the safety concerns, jeopardizing the health of young Americans,” the 54-page interim report said.Myocarditis is an inflammatory condition of the heart muscle, while pericarditis entails inflammation of the lining sac around the heart. Myopericarditis is a combination of the two ailments.Most patients who suffer from those side effects eventually experience “resolution of symptoms,” according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).During the time it took health officials to adjust the labels, doctors who warned about the potential risks of myocarditis among those who took the vaccine were subject to censorship, suppression or accusations of peddling misinformation.
Internal communications show that the administration characterized myocarditis as a “rare” side effect in talking points circulated among top officials. The Senate report suggests this language was intended to minimize concern and avoid appearing “alarmist”.
The report points to records from May 2021, in which health officials at HHS discussed whether to issue a formal warning about myocarditis.According to the report, the formal warning about myocarditis was initially going to be distributed nationwide as a Health Alert Network message, which, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), is CDC’s “primary method of sharing cleared information about urgent public health incidents with public information officers; federal, state, territorial, tribal, and local public health practitioners; clinicians; and public health laboratories.”However, Johnson’s report said that health officials at CDC and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) “ultimately decided against issuing a formal HAN and, instead, posted ‘clinical considerations’ on CDC’s website about myocarditis.””Based on the subpoenaed records the Subcommittee has received to date, as well as public FOIA documents, this interim report will highlight records and present a timeline showing U.S. health officials knew about the risk of myocarditis; those officials downplayed the health concern; and U.S. health agencies delayed informing the public about the risk of the adverse event.”
As if all this were not damning enough, the report criticizes the Biden administration for withholding or heavily redacting key records related to vaccine safety and internal deliberations, which were only released after subpoenas and administrative changes.

Every American should be angry that the lives and the health of our children were sacrificed in the name of politics and Big Pharma lobbying.
As my son was a young male in the at-risk age category when Biden forced the US service academy cadets to take this shot, I am furious. Luckily, my son is fine…but these pompous bureaucrats placed his life, and the lives of other sons and daughters at needless risk.
