Poll: 59% of Palestinians in West Bank Say October 7 Massacre Was ‘Correct Decision’
Nearly 80% of Palestinians oppose dismantling of Hamas as a terrorist fighting force, poll shows.

Most Palestinians in West Bank support mass-murder, rape and kidnapping of innocent Israelis by Hamas-led terrorists on October 7, 2023, a latest poll shows.
“59% of Palestinians polled in the “West Bank” still think that Hamas’ made the “correct decision” to torture, rape, burn alive, murder, and kidnap hundreds of hostages—even including children,” the media watchdog Israel-based Palestinian Media Watch (PMW) observed, citing the poll conducted by the Palestinian Center for Policy and Survey Research.
Having learned nothing from the October 7 massacre and its aftermath, nearly 80 percent of all Palestinians were opposed to the dismantling of Hamas as a terrorist fighting force, poll numbers show. “77% of Palestinians overall (and 85% of Palestinians in the PA-controlled “West Bank”!) “oppose the disarmament of Hamas in the Gaza Strip in order to stop the war on Gaza,” the media watchdog added.
What can only be described as mass-schizophrenia or dark pathology within the Palestinian society: while most of the Palestinians supported the atrocities committed by Hamas on October 7, an overwhelming majority of them denied the role of the Gaza-based terrorist groups in the terror attack, the poll showed. “Strikingly, nearly 90% of Palestinians—including those in Gaza—say they do not believe Hamas fighters committed the atrocities captured in videos from October 7, despite mounting global evidence,” the Israeli news website YnetNews noted.

Palestinian Media Watch (PMW):
According to the poll, nearly 80 percent of Palestinians blamed Israel, or even the U.S., for their current plight in Gaza — not the terrorist group Hamas, Israeli researchers Ephraim D. Tepler and Itamar Marcus observed in the Palestinian Media Watch (PMW):
More than a year and a half after the Hamas-led atrocities of October 7, 59% of Palestinians polled in the “West Bank” still think that Hamas’ made the “correct decision” to torture, rape, burn alive, murder, and kidnap hundreds of hostages—even including children—according to the most respected Palestinian polling agency.
The new poll by Palestinian Center for Policy and Survey Research asks: “In your view, was Hamas’ decision to launch its offensive against Israel on 7 October a correct or incorrect one?” The polling shows a continuation of the pattern of decreasing support since December 2023, when the first poll was taken after the October 7 atrocities. It found that 82% of “West Bank” Palestinians thought October 7 was a “correct decision.” In March and June 2024, just over 70% of Palestinians there supported it. In September 2024, support dropped to 64%. And now, 59% still say it was a “correct decision.”
The slow but continuous decline in support directly correlates with the worsening military defeat in Gaza. Although the overwhelming majority of Palestinians supported and still support the atrocities, as the cost goes up, fewer think it was the correct decision.
This is the current Palestinian Authority message to its people as well. While the PA’s initial response to the Nazi-like pogrom was immediate, spontaneous celebration, it has now changed its message, arguing that while the October 7 atrocities were “legitimate resistance,” the suffering it caused Palestinians in Gaza has made them unjustified. Abbas’ advisor Mahmoud Al-Habbash expressed this explicitly when he stressed five times that October 7 was “legitimate resistance” before saying that “what Hamas carried out in terms of its consequences is illegitimate because it led to catastrophic consequences.”
As the poll shows (see graph above), support is even lower among Gazans, who are the ones suffering directly from the war. Those there who see the decision as “correct” is now at 37%, having dropped from a high of 71%.
Interestingly, a total of 78% of Gazans blame Israel or the US for “the current suffering of Gazans” while only 12% blame Hamas. Coupled with that is the finding that 77% of Palestinians overall (and 85% of Palestinians in the PA-controlled “West Bank”!) “oppose the disarmament of Hamas in the Gaza Strip in order to stop the war on Gaza.”
Shani Louk’s half naked dead body being paraded through the streets of Gaza on October 7 was one of the defining images of the massacre.
There are some who seek to deny what happened even though the terrorists were so proud they posted the footage on social media.

The poll results should not come as a surprise if one recalls how thousands of Palestinians flocked to greet Hamas terrorists on October 7, 2023 as they rode back on their pick-up trucks after massacring and raping Israeli men, women and children — brandishing their weapons and parading their captives.
The macabre display was not limited to Hamas-ruled Gaza; the Palestinian Authority-run West Bank witnessed hideous celebrations on the streets and in schools over the mass-murder of around 1,200 Israelis.

The poll also showed that nearly half of Gaza’s residents would prefer to leave the Hamas-infested enclave. The mainstream media was outraged when President Donald Trump in February suggested relocating large number of Gazans to neighboring Arab states for the post-war reconsecration of the enclave to take place.
“Almost half of Gazans may be willing to apply to Israel to help them leave to other countries, according to a survey released Tuesday,” The Times of Israel reported. “The poll (…) showed that for the first time since the Gaza war was sparked by the Hamas onslaught of October 7, 2023, more Gazans thought Israel rather than Hamas would emerge victorious, though a plurality thought the war would end in a stalemate.”

Poll: 100% of Palestinians in US support Hamas, and say Death To America is the correct choice.
and so this is why these lowest of beasts will NEVER have a state but will continue to live in misery, hatred, and humiliation. The biggest losers maybe in all of history because the whole world hates Israel and the jews and root for them in every international institution and STILL they got no state and never will. Losers!!!
I’m of two minds here. The first is just kill them all no matter where they are. They are a pestilence and have demonstrated this time and time again.
The second is instead of emptying out gaza fill it. Move all of them into gaza from wherever they currently reside. Build a tall, tall while. Just let them stew in place.
The second is more humanitarian. The first is more barbaric. I kind of lean towards the first.
Whatever happens stop importing them here, Cant you see the problems that exist simply because a few have been imported?
The UN needs to treat them like other refugees and move them. They’ve caused trouble in Egypt and Jordan too, but they seem to have a special hatred for Israel, so they must be located far away from Israel.
I think this is more likely to be achievable then your suggestions. But one way or another, Israel needs to be free of them. These “Palestinians” can no longer disgrace the land of Israel.
Antarctica would be my suggestion for resettlement of the muslums from gaza.
They’re not even “refugees.” First, they are, almost to a person, the descendants of the Palestinians who departed from the territory that is now Israel. The UN created a special designation of “refugee” to apply to them as the descendants of refugees, when no other descendants of refugees anywhere else are so labeled. Second, the Palestinians claim Gaza is part of their “homeland.” This makes them “displaced persons,” not “refugees.”
Hamas is Palestinians and Palestinians are Hamas. There’s no separating them.
Better to say Gazans are Hamas.
Those in the West Bank have their own, non-Hamas, terrorists they support.
I very much agree. that is true wherever they are. One cannot deal with uncivilized people in a civilized manner.
Also, comfortably more than a THIRD (some say almost half) of Gazans are married to their FIRST COUSINS. These two data points are not unrelated, IMO. Marrying your first cousin is illegal in many states for a reason…a good reason.
Very good then. You chose this war, you overwhelmingly support it and the Animals who fight it, you want it you got it. Keep pushing IDF until the last one of these Hamas fighters is dead in the ground.
But it’s not just the fighters. What about the civilians who swarmed across the border on October 7 to take part in the atrocities. For those who held hostages as their household sleeves, we’ll show up to intimidate freed hostages as they were being released, or to cheer the death of murdered hostages? They also need to face justice.
Napalm, the answer is napalm
It would lower the percentage significantly.
It is really easy to manufacture napalm, and stale gasoline from Hamas reserves is well suited for making napalm. Poetic use for it.
I heard napalm smells good in the morning.
Not during wildfire season in a dry, windy country, it isn’t. Several towns near ours were evacuated during the recent fires. Fire has a nasty way of not staying where it starts. Most Americans have no inkling of how close everything in Israel is to everything else.
I’d say Gaza deserves a good and thorough bombing.
This is all baloney, not kosher nor halal. Under the circumstances I don’t believe an accurate poll can be taken in Gaza. I don’t believe it and I could not give a crap. Israel has to wipe out every Hamas fighter and totally disarm the population. So let’s get on with it.
They took this poll in Judea and Samaria, not Gaza. It proves that all the Palestinians have to be removed from the Land of Israel.
More like removed from the face of earth.
Unintentional downvote.
Headline should read: “While all Palestinians support the Oct 7th massacre, only 59% will admit it.”
It was the message “You can’t live here,” the same message they always send and believe in. We’re more oppressed than you are, is the claim of each side. As long as respective Holocaust cards battle, nothing will be decided. It’s the wrong battle but hard to pry Jews away from on their side, and on the Palestinian side, in the Palestinian case because they’re not very bright. Jews should know better.
Argue the morality. Israel offers repeatedly mutually beneficial trade and Palestine each time shoots it down or blows it up. Trade being the absolute only source of new wealth in the world, that’s Palestinians oppressing themselves. One side acting morally and the other side acting immorally.
Why would you want to pry Jews away from their side? It’s their side, because they’re right. The Palestinians, besides being generally not very bright, are wrong.
You can’t pry Jews away from the Holocaust card, in arguing their side. Jews use alienation to prevent massive assimilation, thus preserving their religion, and being the most oppressed people is their thing. If they stop arguing that, they believe, their religion will disappear.
In general Jews see antisemitism everywhere, whether it’s there or not. Nowadays it actually is there. Getting rid of it though is not done by finding antisemitism but by arguing the right things, namely a superi0r and consistent morality in dealing with others, while also claiming the universal right to self-defense.
Try growing up and living as a Jew. We don’t always look Jewish (whatever that means) so unlike blacks and Asians we often hear disparaging, defamatory and otherwise Antisemitic remarks. We have been kept out of country clubs and colleges and if you look on X and other platforms we are still targeted as a people whenever someone with a Jewish sounding name farts. I wouldn’t be surprised if you live near a country club that didn’t admit Jews until relatively recently. You can’t speak for us or make generalizations about what we think or feel.
I’m not speaking for you, I’m telling you what you’re doing wrong, fighting a battle that you can’t win instead of the one that you can.
Cognitive dissonance of confirmation bias, take your choice.
The Jews have been run out of almost every country they’ve been in for thousands of years. Now that they finally got their homeland back, everyone wants to wipe that out too. Their grievances are not unfounded.
Everywhere…. like on all the Ivy League college campuses? Like in London? Like in Berlin?
Wow you know so much about Jews for an arrogant Jew-hating misf*ck.
Shouldn’t that be “still say”? Wasn’t the poll soon afterwards something like 70%? Seems some hearts and minds have been changed.
It’d be nice if Western nations and Israel completely cut-off the “Palestinians”. Let their Arab bros and co-religionists pick up the tab for these feral welfare cases.
59% told the truth, and 41% lied. they are all muslums and hamas stands for “Islamic Resistance Movement.”
There is a cost to a culture’s editions of “Fun with Dick And Jane” including a chapter on IED=assembling parties.
Move them to a failed state in sub Sahara Africa. Let the bleeding heart Arab states send them all of the piping and concrete They want to build any tunnels they want. Or they could use all that to build themselves a living infrastructure. But move them so far away that it would take a great effort to get back to Israel.
Most certainly South Africa deserves this. And the west should take in white South African’s.
I propose a simple 2-step solution:
1) Kill them all.
2) Let God sort them out.
59% of [Judaea and Samaria] residents support Oct 7th butchery. The other 41% are lying.
No aid to hostage holders and those who support them.
And no aid for one year for every hostage that died in captivity or within a month of release.
