Kamala Harris Wants to Launch ‘an Institute for Policy and Ideas’

Abortion is the only time Harris can put together a coherent policy.

Failed Democratic presidential candidate and former Vice President Kamala Harris jokes with friends “that she is unemployed for the first time.”

Will Harris run for California governor in 2026? Will she run for president in 2028?

I’m guessing Harris’s mind is more focused on the presidency, even though she has a better chance of winning the Commiefornia governor race.

But Harris obviously needs to stay in the news to keep her aspirations alive.

The New York Times did just that:

Ms. Harris, who jokes to friends that she is unemployed for the first time, has explored options beyond pursuing electoral office, too. She hired the Creative Artists Agency to gauge interest in speaking engagements and a potential book. An aide has held preliminary talks with universities about establishing a policy institute, though some warned that could complicate her political aspirations.

Yes, a policy institute, because Harris does so well with policies:

One possibility: establishing an institute for policy and ideas. Brian Nelson, an adviser to Ms. Harris since she was California’s attorney general, has broached the idea with several universities, including Howard and Stanford. But some allies have noted that raising money for such a center could, depending on the donors, create liabilities in future races. For the same reason, Ms. Harris has been choosy about paid speaking engagements, one of which is drawing her all the way to Australia later this month.

(Yes, I know I’m writing about her, too. But we all need a good laugh!)

Abortion is the only time Harris can put together a coherent policy.

Everything else comes out in word salads. We all know Harris embraces far-left ideas, but she cannot explain her positions except for the murder of unborn human beings.

Let’s not forget when Harris described culture in July 2023:

HARRIS: “Well, I think culture is — it is a reflection of our moment in our time, right? And — and present culture is the way we express how we’re feeling about the moment. And — and we should always find times to express how we feel about the moment that is a reflection of joy, because every — you know, it comes in the morning. (Laughs) We have to find ways to also express the way we feel about the moment in terms of just having language and a connection to how people are experiencing life. And I think about it in that way, too.”

The whole thing made everyone laugh.

Then there’s the word salad about Israel during the infamous 60 Minutes interview:

WHITAKER: But it seems that Prime Minister Netanyahu is not listening.

HARRIS: Well, Bill, the work that we have done has resulted in a number of movements in that region by Israel that were very much prompted by or a result of many things, including our advocacy for what needs to happen in the region.

Now I want a salad.

Either way, Harris has made it known she won’t go away quietly, even though it seems Democrats don’t want anything to do with her.

Look at the Wisconsin Supreme Court race:

In a rare move, she spoke by Zoom on the eve of the April 1 Wisconsin Supreme Court election to about 100 Democratic workers and organizers in the state, praising their efforts on her campaign and ahead of the judicial contest.

“I know you all will never give up, and that we’re going to continue to wage this fight — in the voting booth and in the courts and in the public square,” Ms. Harris said, according to a participant on the call.

Tellingly, however, Ms. Harris’s offer to visit Wisconsin was rejected as a potential distraction during early voting, according to people briefed on the discussions. And even the Zoom call was kept private until after the polls closed, at the request of Wisconsin Democrats, who feared that reports of her involvement would divert attention from Elon Musk, the overriding target of the Democratic campaign.

Yikes! I find it hilarious because her vice president pick, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, has been on podcasts and shows up at town halls across the country.

I bet Harris runs for California governor in 2026.

I don’t think Professor Henry Higgins could make her acceptable to a majority of the people in this country.

The rain in spain falls mainly on her brain (or lack thereof)

The rain, which is an important thing, and there are many important things which affect us all, like the storm which hit Michigan where I have many friends and supporters all of whom are fine people like you, plain honest, people who vote, and they vote for the important things which affect us all like the rain does and that rain falls on them those plain honest people. That rain fall mainly on the plain.

Kamala’s brain has broken from the strain
To think too hard sends her brain down the drain

Dear God…

It’s only a money scam

Yet another shiftless Dhimmi-crat apparatchik who is manifestly too stupid, lazy, entitled and narcissistic to work/succeed in the private sector. Like narcissist-incompetent-dunce, Obama. All that these leeches know is government, and, to the extent that they make obscene amounts of filthy lucre in the private sector, it’s not through true entrepreneurialism, economic productivity and risk-taking, but, by being gifted sweetheart media deals from corporations that are controlled by leftists/Dhimmi-crats.

It’s not like she has any of either.

Who wants to “donate” to the kamala foundation? That’s like buying hunter’s art now.

And because she has no ideas of her own
Like China she will steal them and make them her own

She is looking for ideas, especially ones with opportunity for graft.

That’s interesting concept for someone who has neither policies nor ideas

I think she is trying to stay relevant but I do not think it is going to help. The Dems control voting in California so they will decide if they really want her as Governor, but if they come up with someone else more viable they will.

If she ever had an idea, it died of loneliness.

What she should do is move to Nevada and take up her former profession which by all accounts she was more successful at.

So a government think tank? What a novel idea. What’s next the institute for torturing a meaning out of a word salad???

She might look into becoming ambassador for the spirits industry.

She’ll name it the ‘Institute Of Giving Me My Payoff Money Or I Start Dishing The Dirt’.

BigRosieGreenbaum | April 11, 2025 at 4:52 pm

Have they tried clubing her?

It has often been said that Harris and Walz are “Dumb and Dumber”, but for the life of me I can not tell which is which.

They have AOC to contend with too.

Let’s not omit mention of the vile and contemptible crone-harridan, Mazie Hirono. And, that idiot, Hank Johnson, who worried out loud about Guam or whatever island being swallowed up by the seas.

Stupidity is intrinsic to Dhimmi-crats/leftists and is a prerequisite to their being elected to public office.

ztakddot in reply to Paula. | April 11, 2025 at 6:15 pm

    They take turns.

You just gave me a thought. Did they pick Harris for VP to make Biden look smarter? I always thought it was Obama but he’s distanced from her.

I usually understand what she’s saying, or trying to avoid saying directly. And it’s toxic.

LeftWingLock | April 11, 2025 at 6:43 pm

Ideas are like thoughts. But they are not complete thoughts. They are just ideas. But policies must have ideas behind them. Because without new ideas, new policies are the same as old policies which were based on old ideas.

(Applause)

And what would you like on your salad? We have honey mustard, ranch, blue cheese, thousand island, French, and Italian.

The Democratic Institute for Policy And Ideas And Stuff And You Know, The Thing.

90% of the floor space has been set aside for a wine bar.

She couldn’t defeat newscum if running for gov of CA. She had to pay oprah to speak for her. She has no base.

“Institute for Policy and Ideas” is a strange name for a bar or brothel, but I’m sure she can make it work.

texansamurai | April 12, 2025 at 4:00 pm

she could found her own university–imagine–Fellatio U

I am guessing that the “Policies and Ideas” will have grown up in a middle class household?

That woman hasn’t had an original idea in her life.
