Former Dem Rep. Katie Porter Running for California Governor

Former Dem Rep. Katie Porter Running for California Governor

The field is crowded, but it lacks a certain name…Kamala Harris.

Former Rep. Katie Porter (D-CA) has decided to run for California governor.

Porter filled her announcement video on X (which has not embedded since the cyberattack so you have to click the link) with the same talking points Democrats politicians use in releases: climate change, Orange Man Bad, abortion, blah blah blah.

“What California needs now is a little bit of hope and a whole lot of grit,” said Porter.

Porter served in the House from 2019-2025, using anti-President Donald Trump resistance waves to propel her campaigns.

Guess what? Yes, Porter is sticking with the Orange Man Bad feels.

“I ran for office to hold Trump accountable,” stated Porter. “I feel that same call to serve now to stop him from hurting Californians.”

Porter left the House to run for the Senate, but did not make it past the nonpartisan primary.

Porter whined about the loss, claiming billionaires interfered and tried to rig the primary.

Democrats blasted Porter for her claims, especially since the party went after Trump for saying the same thing about the 2020 election.

The former representative apologized, probably trying to salvage any future political career.

California has a top-two primary system. Candidates from any party appear on a single ballot.

The field is already crowded:

  • Lt. Gov. Eleni Kounalakis
  • Former LA Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa
  • Former state controller Betty Yee
  • Former state Attorney General Xavier Becerra
  • Former state Senate leader Toni Atkins
  • Schools chief Tony Thurmond
  • Hospitality entrepreneur Stephen Cloobeck

Riverside County Sheriff Chad Bianco jumped in as a Republican.

Politico reported that an internal poll showed Porter ahead by 36%.

But…a name is missing.

Failed Democrat presidential candidate former Vice President Kamala Harris.

Harris is still deciding whether to run for president or governor of California.

Those close to Harris insisted she would not wither away and disappear from the limelight.

Supposedly Harris said she would announce her decision by the end of summer.

Katie Porter is almost as ugly as Stacy Abrams, she is probably just as much a loser as Abrams.

She lost so spectacularly to Bobblehead Schiff in the ’24 Senate primary, of course she thinks she’s got a shot at governor.

“Are the billionaires in the room with us now, Katie?”

Is this the woman who brought posterboards to every committee because she didn’t think people would believe her if what she said wasn’t on a nice glossy printout?

Sounds like even the people in her own office were not too fond of her

That reads like a hit piece. “one person claimed this, one text said that.” Every allegation from one anonymous person was immediately disputed by others who were not anonymous.

Maybe those giving their names and defending her were being paid more and being treated better – for sucking up to her fat ugly ass.

Which of the candidates will get George Soros’ vote?

“I ran for office to hold Trump accountable,” stated Porter. “I feel that same call to serve now to stop him from hurting Californians.”

A) Commufornicans are spectacularly capable of hurting themselves, and
B) Show us on this doll where the bad orange man hurt you….

It’s a way to make a living, all those donations she doesn’t have to spend

Just another leftist dimwit. “This stuff never works”. “Yeah, but I’m going to try it now”.

Me and my wife was born in California in the late 50s and our sons in the 80s. We left in the mid 90s due to business. The way the voting is setup it has illegals voting as much as citizens. Dems will always win and the automatic vote count will pick who the Dem Party wants. The next Governor of CA will depend on who the Dem Party decide as it is not a voter decision.

is her job to make Kamala look normal?

She is purrfect for califreakia!

When I see her, I see her weekend filled with: three gallons of Ben & Jerry’s; three gallon boxes of cheap Chardonnay; sixteen cats; and of course a text message telling her she’s been dumped for the third time this week.
