NY Gov. Kathy Hochul Cancels Event at CUNY Over Security Concerns Due to Anti-Israel Protesters
“officials canceled the event at the last-minute amid fears it’d be disrupted by the campus chaos”

This is such a pathetic display of cowardice. What kind of message do you think this sends to the protesters?
The New York Post reports:
At least 3 arrested as twin anti-Israel protests merge outside NYC college – after Gov. Hochul event canceled over security fears
At least three anti-Israel agitators, including a knucklehead in a tree, were arrested Thursday as chaotic protests erupted at CUNY’s City College campus – just hours after Gov. Kathy Hochul canceled an event there over security fears.
Two separate protests from both City College and Barnard College – where rabblerousers seized a building Wednesday – merged outside a Harlem CUNY campus building, chanting slogans and waving Palestinian flags.
Hochul had been scheduled to make a workforce development announcement alongside former New York Rep. Charles Rangel at the building, but officials canceled the event at the last-minute amid fears it’d be disrupted by the campus chaos.
“Due to safety concerns, we made the decision to postpone today’s event at Shepherd Hall,” a spokesperson for City College said in a statement.
Despite officials scrapping the event, the protest outside City College swelled to roughly 70 provocateurs, who tauntingly shouted “Kathy Hochul you can’t hide” and “We charge you with genocide” at the absent governor.
A growing contingent of NYPD cops, with zip ties in their belts, set up barriers in the blocks around the campus.

Yes, they are. The Daily Chart: It’s Certified—Democrats the Party of Anti-Semitism
For those who claim that not supporting Israel is not an indication of anti-Semitism, I’ll relate what a friend told me who went to synagogue yesterday. There was a crowd–she estimated 800– on the other side of the street from the synagogue, many with signs that stated “Kill the Jews.”
There was also a contingent of police to insure that the crowd didn’t cross the street to the synagogue.
Not coincidentally, the rabbi discussed how Hamas treated the hostages.
Note that the event they disrupted was not even remotely related to Israel, Gaza, or Jews & featured the same Charles Rangel who made veiled threats of violence against New York’s Jews if David Dinkins lost when he ran for reelection as mayor.
