Bondi Accuses FBI New York Office of Withholding Epstein Documents

The stuff that came out today is supposedly nothing spectacular or new.

Attorney General Pam Bondi sent a letter to FBI Kash Patel, accusing the New York FBI office of withholding Jeffrey Epstein documents.

“I repeatedly questioned whether this was the full set of documents responsive to my request and was repeatedly assured by the FBI that we had received the full set of documents,” Bondi told Patel. “Late yesterday, I learned from a source that the FBI Field Office in New York was in possession of thousands of pages of documents related to the investigation and indictment of Epstein.”

Bondi hoped to release the files today. Outside of the White House, a few influencers showed off binders to Phase 1.

“By 8:00 a.m. tomorrow, February 28, the FBI will deliver the full and complete Epstein files 10 my office, including all records, documents, audio and video recordings, and materials related lo Jeffrey Epstein and his clients, regardless of how such information was obtained,” continued Bondi. “There will be no withholdings or limitations to my or your access. The Department of Justice will ensure that any public disclosure of these files will be done in a manner to protect the privacy of victims and in accordance with law, as I have done my entire career as a prosecutor.”

Bondi also ordered Patel to investigate why the FBI did not follow her order.

“You will deliver to me a comprehensive report of your findings and proposed personnel action within 14 days,” Bondi wrote.

A source told The New York Post that Thursday’s files contain Epstein’s “address book, including a list of contacts without further context.”

It does not include a client list.

Comments

It would appear that Bondi wanted to maximize the public outcry over the withheld documents. Some game.

Either she’s playing some multidimensional chess to allow her to clean house in NYC FBI and SDNY and elsewhere …

… or she got rickrolled something fierce.

Honestly if #1 was the intention she did not roll this out the right way to generate maximum outrage.

If #2, hopefully a massive lesson learned in grappling with the criminal conspiracy known as “our government”.

Either way, draining the swamp was never gonna be easy. Onwards until we do …

Attorney Robert Barnes has long called SDNY a cesspool and has called for its dissolution.

The reality is all the DoJ AND FBI Districts/Field Offices have operated with far too much autonomy for decades. One doesn’t need any more proof for than this than what was seen out of the Boston FBI Field Office during the Whitey Bulger years. That was an atrocity and according to several journalists, it’s an atrocity that continues to this day. That office kept two sets of files, one files they shared with DoJ and one they maintained in-house and ‘eyes-only.’ Because of this, we still don’t know what the true extent of the FBI’s relationship was with Bulger, how long it lasted and what the FBI knowingly allowed him to get away with.

If they would so brazenly break the law over someone like Bulger, imagine what these FBI field offices and their SDNY colleagues might do for a GIANT fish like Epstein. And of course, this says nothing of any files CIA might have on Epstein.

Speaking of the SDNY (DOJ not FBI office), and maybe I’m not update on this, but what about their records?

I’d say none of the above,..Bondi doesn’t want to release anything, these are all obfuscations.

If I were the Attorney General (thank your lucky stars I am not) I would have foregone the sternly worded letter, put Kash in my car, driven up to NYC. Once there, I would have burst in unannounced, demanded the documents and summarily fired anyone that said anything other than “Right away, Ma’am.”

That’s just me, though.

If she was really outraged she would have the US Marshalls in the NY FBI office as of right now seizing and sealing every document therein..She is just another Rino fraud

Told everybody.

1) I don’t believe for one second the list is EVER going to be released

2) Even if they do release ‘A’ list, I don’t believe it will be complete and accurate.

Oh, and the idiots running the House Judiciary GOP account decided that it was appropriate to ‘post the list’ with a link to Rickroll.

Because you know, this is totally a joking matter.

And people wonder why we have no respect for the GOPe clowns.

Didn’t headline 24 hours ago say she had the files on her desk???? WTF

tease!

JackinSilverSpring in reply to Andy. | February 27, 2025 at 10:21 pm

She didn’t know about the files until informed by a whistle-blower.

    diver64 in reply to Andy. | February 28, 2025 at 5:18 am

She thought she had all of them then found out she probably didn’t. She should be furious but this does give her the opportunity and the reason to fire everyone in charge in NY.

There is a great deal more to this than mere insubordination.

SDNY is run by James Comey’s daughter.

If we are operating properly, this was an insubordination trap all along.
SDNY needs to be nuked from orbit.

So this whole episode looks like an operation to remove Comey.

We’ll see.

Bondi is not coming off well at all

This just screams Amateur Hour.

She didn’t get rolled by anybody, she’s a fraud. Remember her saying a couple of days ago ‘I have the files on my desk’? Yeah – didn’t read’em though, huh? Didn’t bother to check, after all this ‘cleaning the rot outta this house’ grandstanding? It’s a B.S. story from B.S.’er. Don’t expect any revelations from somebody that’s a camera & news coverage hog.

Milhouse in reply to Aggie. | February 28, 2025 at 1:35 am

She had the files they sent her. They represented that these were all they had. How was she supposed to know different?

Mister Logic in reply to Milhouse. | February 28, 2025 at 8:36 am

Because of the paucity of documents provided which, on their face, were clearly much less than the FBI would have after the investigation and history of the subject matter.

Of all the major Trump nominees, she’s easily the weakest. That’s the reality. Her CV isn’t very strong. She has zero experience in federal law enforcement of any kind and her record as Florida AG was…meh. Put charitably, she’s an intellectual lightweight who has never managed anything remotely close to the DoJ bureaucracy. I don’t necessarily think she’s poorly intentioned, just probably not up to the task, which is enormous. She should spend way less time on TV and way more time figuring out how the DC legal machine works and then quietly tacking scalps to her wall.

MAJack in reply to TargaGTS. | February 27, 2025 at 9:42 pm

I fear you may be correct. Like Holman at DHS, enough with the interviews, DO YOUR JOB.

TargaGTS in reply to MAJack. | February 27, 2025 at 10:03 pm

I’m actually inclined to give Holman a bit of a pass because he’s not really ‘at DHS.’ He works in the West Wing as a political advisor to the president, the so-called ‘Border Czar.’ Because the Border Czar doesn’t actually exist in statutory law – it’s not a Senate-confirmed position and therefor, not an Officer of the US and unable to wield any real power – Holman’s true role is really that of being the public face of the deportation program. That kind of role, one with a lot of public-facing visibility, would have been more fitting for Bondi, IMO.

Milhouse in reply to TargaGTS. | February 28, 2025 at 1:37 am

Yes. “Czar” in the context of US politics means an advisor whom the president has assigned a whole sector or industry, to study and make recommendations to him.

Some FBI agents have been guaranteed a good retirement package from frequent fliers.

Not only should anyone involved in holding back these files be fired, but anyone who knew about it, or should have known about it, and didn’t either scream bloody murder or put a stop to it is also part of the problem. Ta-ta to those people too.

My guess at this point is the AG is doing public opinion ground work prior to cleaning house at the Southern District of NY and. NY FBI Field Office.

The SDNY is subordinate only to main justice in major prosecutions including those of a political nature.

This is going to get ugly and will almost certainly wind up at the Supreme Ct. If the Trump administration is as smart as I hope they are they will build public support to compel Robert’s and company to buck the establishment and follow the constitution.

Fire and replace Patel if need be.

Deep State is going to protect its own. It’s the underlings who need t go. They will subvert anything they can from President Trump, FBI Director or their boss AG Pam Bondi.
The underlings noted to get fired

She was on Fox AGAIN tonight

Trump needs to tell her to STFau

    Take a break G 🙄

Some of you are crying like little bitches not getting their way 😂 This is a long game and there will be days like this.

So everyone get a grip and stop being little bitches for 5 seconds ffs 😂

DeweyEyedMoonCalf in reply to gonzotx. | February 28, 2025 at 6:27 am

There has been plenty of time since November for the paper shredders to destroy documents, and for elecfronic records to be purged. But it would be really interesting to examine all the emails and text messages and any recorded phone calls to or from any persons of interest at the FBI since the AG started giving interviews about releasing documents. The Deep State actors have gotten used to getting away with everything, and there have probably been lots of communications recently on government devices that need to be looked into.

You expected people appointed by a man who is in photos with Epstein and a known business partner to actually tell you the truth?

Downvote me again.

TopSecret in reply to SeymourButz. | February 28, 2025 at 12:02 pm

Trump cut off all contact with Epstein after he found out what Epstein was into. Before that, they were members of NYC high society and it would have been weird if they weren’t in pictures together or did business. If Trump was involved in Epstien’s activities, it would have been leaked approximately five minutes after the files were discovered. Your name should be Jack Smith because face it Jack, you got nothing on Trump.

Given his long history of being a total sleazebag, and being a close associate of Epstein, normal people assume Trump was a client. But at this point , his cult wouldn’t care, wouldn’t care, would they. They just blow off anything sleazy thing he does.

Still your President and there’s nothing you can do about it! Enjoy the next four years!

I’m thing 2 years. Then there will be a correction. He’ll be a lame duck last time. With any luck -the Democrats will get enough of a majority to remove ‘the moron’ from Gov’t for good via impeachment. A sleaze bag with a criminal resume like his couldn’t get hired at Walmart. He has no business holding any public office, let alone Prez.

        irishgladiator63 in reply to tjv1156. | February 28, 2025 at 3:02 pm

Well if it gets you through the day. But if I were you, I’d get used to the idea of 4 years of Trump then 8 of Vance.

Total sleazebag…is that worse than partial sleazebag? Semi sleazebag? How does one measure sleazebagginess?

      irishgladiator63 in reply to MTED. | February 28, 2025 at 3:05 pm

We measure sleazebagginess in Kennedys. Some Kennedys pimp out interns and cheat on their wives. Some give their daughters lobotomies. Some Kennedys get drunk and leave women to drown. Trump doesn’t even rate one Kennedy. Maybe a half a Kennedy because of the affairs.

    TopSecret in reply to tjv1156. | February 28, 2025 at 12:09 pm

If Trump was a client of Epstein, it would have been leaked five minutes after Epstein got arrested. We know Bill Clinton and Bill Gates were frequent guests of Epstein but no one has ever provided any evidence of Trump being a guest. None of the victims said in their testimony that they saw Trump there. Trump cut off all contact with Epstein after he found out what Epstein was into. They appeared in pictures together before that because they were both powerful NYC businessmen and it would have been weird if they didn’t know each other. There is no proof that they associated again after Trump cut Epstein off.

It’s 8 a.m. Has the FBI delivered?
