Trump has chosen longtime FOX News contributor Tammy Bruce to serve as spokeswoman for the State Department. This is one of my favorite Trump picks so far. Tammy Bruce is a very smart woman and if you’ve ever interacted with her on Twitter/X, you know she is a delightful person.
In addition to her work on FOX, Bruce is an accomplished author, a talk radio host, and podcaster. She is a former liberal and even served as a leader for NOW (the national Organization for Women) in California, years ago.
FOX News released this statement via email: “Tammy Bruce has been an extremely valued contributor at FOX News Media for nearly 20 years and we wish her all the best in her new role.”
Tammy is a vocal supporter of Trump and for all the right reasons.

In the 1990s, she worked on progressive political campaigns and was president of the National Organization for Women before transitioning to a more conservative platform. The biography notes her current mission to “expose and help defeat the leftist agenda.”

Tammy Bruce has been a Fox News political contributor since 2005. She hosted “The Tammy Bruce Show,” which began in 1993 in Los Angeles and became nationally syndicated in 2005. In 2009, she transitioned the show to online streaming. She also guest-hosts primetime programs and has her own show, “Get Tammy Bruce,” on Fox Nation, reported TOI.The Association for Mature Americans (AMAC) publishes Bruce’s weekly column. Her work has also appeared in publications like the New York Times, Los Angeles Times, USA Today, and The Guardian. She speaks to groups across the country, often presenting her commentary, “Contrary to Popular Belief: How Conservative Ideals Empower Women, Gays, and Blacks.”
