Anti-Islam Activist Murdered in Sweden Had Bounty on His Head for Staging Quran-Burning Protests

“How many more need to be slaughtered before the world stops lying to itself and admits the truth—we have an #ISLAM problem.”

Swedish authorities confirmed to CNN that Iraqi activist Salwan Momika, whose 2023 Quran-burning protests in Sweden drew international attention, was shot and killed during a live broadcast in his Södertälje apartment on Wednesday. [Södertälje is located approximately 20 miles southwest of Stockholm.] Stockholm police told CNN that five people have been arrested in connection with the murder.

At the time of his death, Momika was on trial at Stockholm’s District Court, facing charges of “incitement to racial hatred,” according to the report. Lawyer Goran Lundahl told CNN that a verdict in the case was scheduled for Thursday but has now been postponed.

in 2023, Momika told CNN he had arrived in Sweden in 2018. He said he believed the Quran “should be banned in the world because of the danger it causes to democracy, ethics, human values, human rights, and women’s rights. It just doesn’t work in this time and age.”

Prior to the protests, Momika was initially denied a police permit. He appealed that decision to Stockholm’s Court of Appeals, citing freedom of speech, and it was overturned, per CNN.

According to CNN:

An account on X purporting to be Momika regularly posted updates on his 2025 trial to more than 230,000 followers. The account also regularly posted anti-Islam sentiments.

Earlier this month, the account was asking for donations to go towards a lawyer, who would reportedly help Momika gain asylum in the United States.

A prosecutor will now be in charge of investigating the murder, the Stockholm police spokesperson said.

Security services will also be involved in the investigation, as there is a risk that Momika’s murder could be linked to foreign powers, Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson told a press briefing Thursday, according to public broadcaster SVT.

Momika’s supporters took to X on Thursday, expressing their sadness and anger over his killing. In the post below, Dr. Manoj Pandey spoke for many of them.

Dr. Pandey followed up with an emotional appeal to Momika’s supporters. He lamented the Islamification of Europe and ask how long it will take “before Sweden is unrecognizable, ruled by the very ideology it refuses to confront?”

Salwan Momika was executed during a live broadcast.

A man #Sweden spent months persecuting, harassing, and preparing to deport is now dead.

#Sweden, you did this. You tormented him, arrested him, silenced him, and left him exposed to the radicals he warned about.

You were going to deport him to an #Islamic country where he’d be killed—while letting terrorists, rapists, murderers, and bombers stay. #IslamizedSweden has become a playground for jihadists, punishing the few brave enough to speak the truth.

And now? #Momika’s hate speech trial was scheduled for today. The court was set to convict him for “desecrating the Quran,” enforcing Islamic blasphemy laws in what used to be a free country. But now? They have to postpone the ruling. Why? Because their defendant was just assassinated.

Does this sound like #Europe? Or does it sound like a full-fledged Islamic caliphate, where critics of #Islam are hunted and executed?

How much more will it take? How many more executions? How much more appeasement? How long before #Sweden is unrecognizable, ruled by the very ideology it refuses to confront?

The West needs to wake up. This isn’t just #Sweden’s fate—it’s the fate of every nation too cowardly to stand up.

You were…

Dr. Pandey is correct. According to the World Population Review, in 2024, Muslims comprised 6.87% of Sweden’s population. In France, they accounted for 10%; in Belgium, 7.6%; in the United Kingdom, 5.86%; in Germany, 5.54%; and in Italy, 4.8%.

Although Muslims remain a minority in these countries, their numbers grow each year. Rather than assimilating into the cultures of their adopted nations, they expect accommodation by those around them. Their influence continues to expand. European governments are playing with fire and if they persist in their current path of appeasement, the consequences in the years ahead will be grave.

He proved his point….. murdered locally but now “outside forces” did it. Well, yes… they did get into his apartment from the outside. Sweden is the land of blondes… and proves it.

I am reminded of the words of the great Muslim Scholar Barack Hussein Obama:

“Lest we get on our high horse and think this is unique to some other place, remember that during the Crusades and the Inquisition, people committed terrible deeds in the name of Christ.”

Terrible deeds done near a millennia ago vs terrible deeds going on right damn now?
Which should be concerning to us present day?

If one actually studies the crusades, they started as a defense against the Moors marching through Europe killing in their wake. Of course there were abuses, but it was not unabashed Christian violence. Islam has never, ever been a religion of peace. Any legit student of history can see that.

No, they didn’t. They were entirely about seizing the Holy Land and putting it under Christian tyranny, and massacring Jews along the way.

The obvious solution is moar gun control.

For a monotheistic religion, there is awfully high value of the Koran and the Prophet. Looks like either idolatry or polytheism to me, as a student of theology for the past 30 years.

Milhouse in reply to jagibbons. | February 1, 2025 at 8:48 am

That’s garbage. You can’t separate God from His word. If the Koran is God’s word, then it’s identical with Him, just as the Bible is God’s word and is therefore Him.

And unlike Christianity, Islam never deifies the Prophet. It strictly forbids doing that, or anything that comes close to it. Moslems believe Mohammed was an ordinary person, no more divine than anyone else. They believe he was as saintly as it is possible for a person to be, so everything he did should be emulated as closely as possible, but that’s all he is: a teacher and role model, not a god, as Christianity did with its founding figure.

It’s essentially a suburb of Stockholm. It’s CRAZY how many Middle-Easterners there are there now. I don’t know what the % is exactly. But, in that area, it’s WAY more than the 7% (national) Muslim population…probably closer to 40%. I mean, they are everywhere.

Interestingly, there’s a significant Assyrian population in Sweden. Assyrians (a Christian ethnic minority from Syria, Iraq & Turkey, mostly) and Muslims have had a long combative relationship in the region which caused many of them to flee over the decades because they were persecuted by both the Kurds and the Muslim Iraqis, Sunni & Shia alike. I would be interested to know if the victim was Assyrian.

The consequences in the years ahead will be grave? They are pretty damn grave right now with knife attacks, rape gangs, no travel zones in Stockholm and murders.

All western nations are screwed

Gee – that was swell of the District Court to wait a few days before resuming the trial, hauling his corpse into the court, and pronouncing a sentence over his dead body.

When will Europe wake up?

“The Rape of Europe” is more than just mythology. It’s now an allegory of the Muslim hordes that are attempting to subsume her in the name of their bloody religion.

When will America wake up? We have the same problem, we’re just a decade behind them.

Exactly. We should ban any muslim immigration and start looking to kick out any grad students and green card holders who are muslim. They are our enemy and we have to quit being stupid.

Read this at least 10 years ago, but can’t remember from where. It seemed on target then, and still now.

“”The Muslim Population time bomb”

As long as the Muslim population remains around or under 2% in any given country, they will be for the most part regarded as a peace-loving minority, and not as a threat to other citizens.

At 2% to 5%, they begin to proselytize other ethnic minorities and disaffected groups, often with major recruiting from the jails and among street gangs.

From 5% on, they exercise an inordinate influence in proportion to their percentage of the population. For example, they will push for the introduction of halal (clean by Islamic standards) food, thereby securing food preparation jobs for Muslims They will increase pressure on supermarket chains to feature halal on their shelves along with threats for failure to comply. At this point, they will work to get the ruling government to allow them to rule themselves (within their ghettos) under Sharia, the Islamic Law. The ultimate goal of Islamists is to establish Sharia law over the entire world.

When Muslims approach 10% of the population, they tend to increase lawlessness as a means of complaint about their conditions. In Paris, we are already seeing car-burnings. Any non-Muslim action offends Islam, and results in uprisings and threats, such as in Amsterdam , with opposition to Mohammed cartoons and films about Islam.

After reaching 20%, nations can expect hair-trigger rioting, jihad militia formations, sporadic killings, and the burnings of Christian churches and Jewish synagogues.

At 40%, nations experience widespread massacres, chronic terror attacks, and ongoing militia warfare.

From 60%, nations experience unfettered persecution of non-believers of all other religions (including non-conforming Muslims), sporadic ethnic cleansing (genocide), use of Sharia Law as a weapon, and Jizya, the tax placed on infidels.

After 80%, expect daily intimidation and violent jihad, some State-run ethnic cleansing, and even some genocide, as these nations drive out the infidels, and move toward 100% Muslim, such as has been experienced and in some ways is on-going in Bangladesh — Muslim 83%, Egypt — Muslim 90%, Gaza — Muslim 98.7%, Indonesia — Muslim 86.1%, Iran — Muslim 98%, Iraq — Muslim 97%, Jordan — Muslim 92%.

100% will usher in the “peace” of ‘Dar-es-Salaam’ — the Islamic House of Peace. Here there’s supposed to be peace, because everybody is a Muslim, the Madrasses are the only schools, and the Koran is the only word, such as in: Afghanistan — Muslim 100%, Saudi Arabia — Muslim 100%, SomaliaMuslim 100%, Yemen —Muslim 100%.”

True and yet…..

So when will the season open on the muzslimes?
