Leftists are Raising Legal Funds for Alleged UnitedHealthcare CEO Shooter Luigi Mangione
“You are going through a lot right now, but we wanted to let you know that we set up a legal defense fund for you”
The way that the left has celebrated alleged murderer Luigi Mangione is downright sickening. Now they’re raising money for him, even though he has been indicted for first-degree murder in furtherance of terrorism.
A GiveSendGo account has been set up to raise funds for his legal expenses. They have a goal of $500,000, and at the time of this writing, the account already has more than $155,000.
Newsweek notes that the Mangione account has raised more money than another account set up for the victims of the recent school shooting in Wisconsin:

A GiveSendGo fundraiser created for alleged UnitedHealthcare CEO shooter Luigi Mangione received more donations in its first 24 hours than a GoFundMe for victims of the shooting at Abundant Life Christian School in Madison, Wisconsin.
Why It Matters
One teacher and a teenage student died Monday when suspected shooter Natalie “Samantha” Rupnow, 15, opened fire at ALCS before killing herself on Monday. Six other people were injured in the shooting with two students experiencing life-threatening injuries.
On Tuesday, Mangione, 26, was charged in New York with first-degree murder in furtherance of terrorism for allegedly killing UHC CEO Brian Thompson on December 4. If convicted, Mangione could be facing life imprisonment without parole.
What To Know
The December 4 Legal Committee, a group composed of 15 volunteers from around the country formed after Thompson’s death, created its Mangione GiveSendGo fundraiser to help the Ivy League grad with his legal fees.
According to the GiveSendGo account, which we will not link to, the founders of the campaign sent Mangione a letter about a new attorney:

Along with the donations have come hundreds of messages of support for you. We are reaching out to your legal defense as well in case this letter doesn’t reach you. Everyone is entitled to a defense. Luigi is not hurting for money to fund his own defense though.

This is a legal defense fund. It’s an American principle that all defendants deserve proper representation, and that extends to funding it.
Instead, enjoy the delicious irony that the left’s b*ch, GoFundMe, finds itself entirely unable to participate in this windfall, having hamstrung themselves by a hastily-drafted “policy” against maintaining accounts for the defense of people “accused(!) of heinous crimes.” — a policy specifically instituted to screw Kyle Rittenhouse out of legal defense funds.
Instead, these leftist haters are forced to reply on GiveSendGo — a principled, highly-Christian organization — to try to obtain their warped version of justice. Just having to view their sacred homepage to make a donation is probably enough to set some of them on fire.
And lo, if you go there and look… there are no fewer than SIX separate funds all purporting to be for Luigi’s defense. Gee, I wonder how many of them are progressives scamming their fellow progressives? (Not even counting the seventh, which uses Luigi’s photo and name to solicit funds for people OTHER than Luigi!) 😆

The crowdfund manager (named in the listing) is the sole determiner of where the funds go. GiveSendGo has no control over that unless fraud is indicated or reported. Based payouts don’t qualify.
You can’t have a conviction except against the best possible defense. Otherwise it’s not a conviction.

Do these people supporting mangione not understand that he wasn’t customer of UHC, never paid UHC and money for anything, was never denied claim by UHC?
Why didn’t he retain lawyer and go after the insurance company that he believes caused him harm?

You know, that’s nothing but a clickbait comparison. Contributing to the victims of a nutbag shooting is not a political issue, and there are so many victims of nutbags to choose from. Or victims of illegal immigrants. Or hurricane victims..Plus, there are dozens of different organizations soliciting funds for each of the above.
Sending money to the CEO Killer is a hot political issue, and the certified freaks of our country really have only ONE place to clock in on this one, and it’s GiveSendGo.
