Laken Riley Trial Opens With Gruesome Details of Victim’s Death at Hands of Illegal Alien Suspect

“When Laken Riley refused to be his rape victim, he bashed her skull in with a rock repeatedly.”

The trial of Laken Riley’s suspected killer began on Friday this week and opened with shocking details of the 22 year-old nursing student’s death.

Riley fought for her life, but eventually succumbed to the horrific injuries she sustained in the attack.

The New York Post reports:

Georgia nursing student Laken Riley ‘fought for her life’ when she was killed by illegal immigrant: prosecutors

Slain Georgia nursing student Laken Riley “fought for her life” for a staggering 18 minutes before her skull was crushed by an illegal migrant, prosecutors said Friday — as opening statements got underway for the shocking murder case that was a cornerstone of the presidential election.

Riley, 22, was found viciously murdered on the University of Georgia campus on Feb. 22, shortly after her friend reported that she had not returned from her morning run.

On the first day of the bench trial, prosecutors claimed that suspect Jose Ibarra, 26 — an illegal migrant linked to the violent Venezuelan Tren de Aragua prison gang — smashed Riley’s head in and asphyxiated her when she resisted his sexual attack.

“He went hunting for females on the University of Georgia campus, and on his hunt, he encountered 22-year-old Laken Riley on her morning jog,” said prosecutor Sheila Ross, with Riley’s family in the gallery.

“When Laken Riley refused to be his rape victim, he bashed her skull in with a rock repeatedly.”…

Riley struggled with Ibarra for nearly 20 minutes, from 9:10 a.m. until her heart stopped at 9:28 a.m., according to heart rate readings and data from her GPS running watch, Ross said.

Here’s a longer video from FOX News:

Newsmax reports that the prosecution’s case is rock-solid:

Prosecutor Sheila Ross told the judge that Ibarra encountered Riley, a 22-year-old student at Augusta University College of Nursing, while she was out running on Feb. 22.

“When Laken Riley refused to be his rape victim, he bashed her skull in with a rock repeatedly,” Ross said, adding that the evidence will show that Riley “fought for her life, for her dignity.”

As a result of that fight, Ibarra’s DNA was left under her fingernails, Ross said. Riley called 911 and, in a struggle over her phone, Ibarra’s thumbprint was left on the screen, she said.

The forensic evidence is sufficient to prove Ibarra’s guilt, but digital and video evidence will also show that Ibarra killed Riley, Ross said.

And this is directly the result of the left allowing these monsters in to our country to vote for free stuff and establish permanent Democrat one party rule. This poor woman’s blood is on the hands of the evil Democrats and spineless Neocons.

Also, they failed.

I don’t remember anyone on the left raising a finger in outrage for this woman’s rights that were viciously taken from her by an illigal alien.

Seems this woman’s right to not be sexually violated and murdered isn’t high on the list of woman’s rights that the left is prepared to riot over. Who knew eh 🤷‍♂️

The prosecutor, Deborah Gonzalez, is a FAR left loon (the county is one of the few deep blue counties in GA). She decided, for reasons only known to her, that this case didn’t merit the death penalty. It’s insane, almost as bad as the former Fulton County prosecutor’s decision almost 20-years to not seek the death penalty in a case of an escaped prisoner who went on a murder spree, which reached national notoriety.

Gonzalez was just defeated in her reelection bid last week. Unfortunately, the change comes too late for this case. Lastly, if you have female family members and they’re not sharing their location with their friends and family through apps like Apple’s ‘Find My’ or Google Maps, they’re doing it wrong. While it couldn’t save this young woman, the quick discovery of her body through the Find My app definitely contributed to the prosecution we’re seeing this week.

Democrats need to be held accountable for her death. Madame VP Harris should never hold office again as she was in charge.

Are Mayorkas, Biden, and Harris, et al being tried as accessories to this murder; aiding & abetting; depraved indifference?

Or is it all still *clown world* where people win popularity contests to govern, and face zero criminal consequences for their deadly policies??

The open border Democrats and RINOs have blood on their hands. If convicted what will be his punishment? Execution? How? Something more serious than lethal injection, say crucifixion. Note when one of the ruling class or a pol gets attacked the punishment is severe. The Pelosi intruder didn’t kill or seriously injure anyone yet he got life imprisonment with no parole. A dramatic demonstration of how little we count next to them.

As mentioned above, the prosecution is not asking for the death sentence. The penalty they’re asking is life with no parole. So he will receive free room and lodging for the rest of his life. This is ridiculous, given the amount of evidence available to the prosecutor.

He wanted to penetrate her, might be fitting a fire hardened stake for his back end?

And many fighting to let illegals vote.
Her murder is on the hands of the Sundowner administration.
