Professor Cornel West Chooses BLM Activist as Running Mate

“Folks think they’re attacking me by asking why I think everything is racist…I’m not offended. Virtually everything is racist.”

Cornel West is now running as an independent. I suppose we shouldn’t be surprised by his choice of running mate.

The College Fix reports:

Radical professor Cornel West chooses radical BLM activist as presidential running mate

Ivy League professor Cornel West, running as a third party presidential candidate this year, has chosen fellow professor and far-left Black Lives Matter activist Melina Abdullah as his running mate.

Currently at Columbia’s Union Theological Seminary, the 70-year-old “public intellectual” West, who as of last summer owed half a million dollars in taxes, said he chose Abdullah to “put a smile on the face of Fannie Lou Hamer and Martin Luther King Jr. from the grave.”

According to Politico, West announced his choice Wednesday during an appearance on former colleague Tavis Smiley’s radio program.

A professor of Pan-African Studies at California State University Los Angeles, Abdullah (pictured) most recently charged that being a fan of Taylor Swift is “slightly racist.”

In response to the remark’s inevitable push-back, Abdullah tweeted “Folks think they’re attacking me by asking why I think everything is racist…I’m not offended. Virtually everything is racist.”

Abdullah also told white people to leave black folks alone on Juneteenth (“Please don’t ask if you can come to the cookout … #Juneteenth is freedom day for Black folks”), demanded the president of CSULA “revoke all permits” of the campus Young Americans for Freedom chapter for displaying “Build the Wall” signage, and referred to police officers as “slave catchers” of the past.

She also called conservative commentator Ben Shapiro, an Orthodox Jew, a “neo-Nazi” and “neo-KKK member.”

In addition, Abdullah was rather vocal about the bogus Jussie Smollett hate crime allegations, saying “We can never believe police, especially the Chicago Police Department.” She referred to Smollett as a “Black man who has been courageously present, visible, and vocal in the struggle for Black freedom.”

People need to ask Cornel about the real reason he left Harvard years ago. Was it simply because of his disagreements with the then president, Lawrence Summers.

“Virtually everything is racist.”

Including you.

West brings amusement value to the election of nothing else.

I love his tonsorial acumen.
It’s classic Karl Marx, but with Magic Negro highlghts.
He sure is rockin’ it.
Go grab lotsa dem Democrat votes, Cornell!

I guess Cornel West was looking for an additional reason for me to not vote for him.

In response to the remark’s inevitable push-back, Abdullah tweeted “Folks think they’re attacking me by asking why I think everything is racist…I’m not offended. Virtually everything is racist.”

Apparently Mr. Abdullah never learned that if the race card is continually played, it will be increasingly ignored. Since virtually everything that white bread folk say or do is racist, it appears futile to try to avoid being racist. That is, it is futile to pay attention to charges of racism. If we are all Klansmen, according to Mr. Abdullah, why try?

I don’t believe that Mr. Abdullah wants “blah blah blah” to be the response to his accusing someone of racism, but that is what is happening.

If Abdullah thinks that being a fan of Taylor Swift is racist, do I have to become a Swift fan now? YUCK!
