Media Hoax: No, Israel Did Not Dig ‘Mass Grave’ At Gaza’s Nasser Hospital

“How are news outlets dedicating wall-to-wall coverage to campus protests, but not the discovery of mass graves in Gaza of people with their hands tied & clothing stripped? Why do we not know more? Where are the journalists and resources being dedicated to that story?” — AOC

Another day, another Hamas hoax amplified by Democrats and the mainstream media.

This time around, the story is about a mass grave at Gaza’s Nasser Hospital that was allegedly only recently discovered, according to workers for the Hamas-run Gaza Civil Defense.

CNN, of course, was among the numerous media outlets to breathlessly report on the story, which strongly insinuated the IDF dug the graves and, in the process, committed war crimes. Make sure to take note of the framing:

The United Nations has called for an “independent, effective and transparent investigation” into the discovery of mass graves at two Gaza hospitals that were besieged and raided by Israeli troops this year.

The UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Volker Türk said in a statement he was “horrified” by the scenes reported from both the Nasser and Al Shifa medical complexes in the besieged enclave.

[…]

A mass grave with 324 bodies was uncovered this week at the Nasser Medical Complex in the southern Gaza city of Khan Younis by Gaza Civil Defense workers following the withdrawal of Israeli forces from the area.

Col. Yamen Abu Suleiman, Director of Civil Defense in Khan Younis, alleged that some of the bodies had been found with hands and feet tied, “and there were signs of field executions. We do not know if they were buried alive or executed. Most of the bodies are decomposed.”

Anti-Israel CNN International anchor Christiane Amanpour also hyped the story:

Hamas Caucus leader Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) pounced and seized, and demanded to know where the media coverage was, apparently ignoring the fact that national news outlets had already picked up the ball and run with it:

The Biden White House has also said they want “answers”:

“We want answers,” National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan told reporters. “We want to see this thoroughly and transparently investigated.”

A spokesperson for the US State Department also said Washington was continuing to press Israel for more information.

As with most things claimed by a Hamas-run organization, the problem here is that the mass grave was actually dug in January 2024 – but not by the IDF:

Analyses by Sky News and independent analysts of satellite imagery and footage published online found that claims spread by Hamas and Arabic media that the IDF had dug mass graves at the Nasser hospital in Gaza were false as the graves were made before the IDF entered the complex.

Hamas, Al-Jazeera, and several news agencies claimed in recent days that the IDF had dug mass graves in order to “hide” the bodies of Palestinians after entering the Nasser hospital in Khan Yunis.

Here’s more from the Times of Israel:

The IDF, in its response, said that during its operation in the area of Nasser Hospital in recent months, troops examined corpses that had been buried by Palestinians on the medical center’s grounds, “as part of an effort to locate hostages.”

The military said it operated in a “targeted manner,” only where it had intelligence that Israeli hostages may have been buried.

GeoConfirmed also has a lengthy thread that includes receipts that back up Shoshani’s statement. Make sure to click on the tweets to expand them for more detailed explanations:

NBC News also reported on the mass grave digging at the time:

A good rule of thumb on stories like these is that if Hamas is alleging it and the left-wing media is running with it, there is a high probability that it is fake news:

Wash, rinse, repeat.

Media dipsh*ts and leftards will lap this right up, regardless of how debunked it is. They simply do not care about the truth.

Bogus as it seems, with 30,000 claimed Gazan deaths this is the first indication of any mass grave in Gaza.

    Curious isn’t it?

Not really, because they’re claiming those people were killed by IDF bombing, not by death squads or the like, so they would all have been buried by the locals, not by the IDF.

Of course it’s all bogus, but this is what they’ve been claiming.

For the same reason that we regularly see assaults, theft, and vandalism classified as “pranks” – that is, due to lack of conscience and stupid attempts to minimize or deflect criminal behavior.

It’s becoming easy to mix up S. Vietnam back then with Gaza today. Our media is having trouble keeping up with which propaganda is the greater good for which narrative. I can just imagine…well no I can’t…telling the local Muzzies ‘now you boys give us a few hours and some space while we bury these bodies’. Oughta’ work out just fine.

That CNN ran with this without any questions what so ever really tells us more about their hatred of Jews than their love of finding the truth (the truth being this was a Palestinian created cemetery and nothing to do with Jews).

And as with every other lie aired uncritically by CNN they will of course ignore any follow up to clarify this has nothing to do with Jews as they have with every other lie they have aired uncritically.

Christiane Amanpour, a longtime Obama lover and sympathizer, is the exact opposite of the truth, With CNN’s Amanpour, it’s not a fact-based show; it’s show business.

Amanpour has been a Hamas lover since they were first “elected” in 2006. I remember her glowing broadcasts on how they had gone from terrorism to trash pick up! How adorable. Of course CNN didn’t cover how the super awesome Hamas kids then mass slaughtered their Fatah brothers. Nope Palestinians are always presented as all having the same opinions and ideas, no infighting whatsoever.

Of course CNN also never covered the pull out of Israel from Gaza in the first place, continuing to call it “occupied” and “under siege” and “an open air prison,” despite Israel leaving in 2005, their one time elections (Palestinians don’t seem to get elections–they just do them once and then you rule for life) and acknowledge that Hamas was now the government.

Yup that CNN they aren’t really known for their accuracy, honesty, or lack of bias. But they sure know how to lie and repeat that lie a lot, accompanied by interesting graphics and high drama reporting.

Amanpour’s lying and dissembling go back long before 0bama or Hamas. She was an apologist for Iraq back during the first Gulf War.

Easiest response: If Hamas says it, it’s not true. After all, misleading the dhimmi world is okay for them if it advances their cause, kind of like the Marxists misleading the rest of us.

Truth? Honesty? Don’t worry about it.

Vile, useful idiot reprobates and morons such as Occasional-Cortex and Christiane Amanpour, and, the rest of their Dhimmi-crat ilk, will lazily and credulously parrot any bit of anti-Israel slander and venom, no matter how manifestly false and contrived by Muslim supremacists and Islamofascists.

Thank God for double standards because if it wasn’t for double standards the left wouldn’t have any standards what so ever!

Standard 1 – CEASEFIRE NOW IN GAZA.
Standard 2 – We must continue to fund the war in Ukraine and continue to sacrifice Ukrainian lives because we must continue to kill Russians at every opportunity.

Standard 1 – First nation peoples must have primacy!
Standard 2 – Except you Jews! The descendants of slave owning Muslim colonisers have every right to the lands where you are the indigenous peoples.

Standard 1 – Black Lives Matter!!
Standard 2 – Except your little black life unborn clump of biological cells being carried by a birthing human.

A dash of Saul Alinsky’s “the ends justify the means”, and a pinch of Katherine Maher’s “truth is relative”, make a poisonous stew.

One is forced to wonder how many of these bodies will be reused to create even more “mass graves” for CNN and AP….
