Schumer Wants New Elections in…Israel

It’s not election interference when the Democrats do it. Step off, Chuckie.

I’m biting my tongue out of respect for Professor Jacobson so I don’t unleash my true feelings toward Sen. Chuck Schumer.

But if you follow me on Twitter, you know exactly what I want to say.

Chuckie has so much time on his hands that he felt the need to demand new elections in Israel.

Chuckie is a jerk. I cannot believe he paraphrased a phrase used by antisemites to describe supposed “extremist” Israelis (emphasis mine):

“The Netanyahu coalition no longer fits the needs of Israel after October 7. The world has changed – radically – since then, and the Israeli people are being stifled right now by a governing vision that is stuck in the past,” says Schumer.

Netanyahu has “lost his way, putting himself in coalition with far-right extremists like [Finance Minister] Bezalel Smotrich and [National Security Minister] Itamar Ben-Gvir.”

“Extremist Palestinians and extremist Israelis seek the same goal: from the Jordan River to the Mediterranean Sea, they aim to push the other from the land,” Schumer adds.

“If Prime Minister Netanyahu’s current coalition remains in power after the war begins to wind down, and continues to pursue dangerous and inflammatory policies that test existing US standards for assistance, then the United States will have no choice but to play a more active role in shaping Israeli policy by using our leverage to change the present course,” Schumer says in a speech on the Senate floor.

Can you believe his nerve? Last time I checked, I found that anyone can and does live in Israel. Doesn’t sound like Israelis want “to push the other from the land.”

My God, Chuckie boy. The Palestinians DO NOT WANT a separate state.

Also…isn’t this a form of election interference? I’d call it pre-election interference:

“As a democracy, Israel has the right to choose its own leaders, and we should let the chips fall where they may. But the important thing is that Israelis are given a choice. There needs to be a fresh debate about the future of Israel after October 7,” Schumer says.

“In my opinion, that is best accomplished by holding an election,” he says.

“Nobody expects Prime Minister Netanyahu to do the things that must be done to break the cycle of violence, to preserve his credibility on the world stage, to work to a two-state solution,” he continued. “Israel cannot survive if it becomes a pariah.”

The former prime minister reaffirmed that Israel will do what she wants when she wants.

Schumer can no longer complain about the 2016 election. Schumer can also no longer claim or say that Republicans want to nation build.

If the people of Israeli want a new election then fine. How about we not interfere with other countries? You can also bet that anyone who takes Bibi’s place would have similar tactics and policies concerning the war with Hamas.

Chuckie doesn’t care about Israel, much like the Biden administration. They just want to win back people like Rep. Rashida Tlaib.

Another example of democrats when they don’t get their way
Hopefully AG Flynn puts him in Florence…

Then he should move there and never come back

He should stick to threatening Supreme Court justices.

What a sleazy thing to do, to make things worse in the middle of an armed conflict.

ChrisPeters in reply to oldschooltwentysix. | March 14, 2024 at 2:07 pm

Well, he’s a sleazy guy, after all, and he has been his entire career.

This from the guy all about Russia interfering in our elections/government. Who the hell does he think he is demanding any government especially the only democracy in the middle east and an ally change it’s elected government because he demands it. Bad enough our Obama State Department overthrew the elected Ukraine government.

“Extremist Palestinians and extremist Israelis seek the same goal: from the Jordan River to the Mediterranean Sea, they aim to push the other from the land,” Schumer adds.

Of course, even if it were true there is one glaring difference – the fakestinians have the whole arab world and 57 muslim countries to go to (countries that almost all supported every single war that arabs have waged on Israel), while the Jews have nowhere to go and the fakestinians have no intention of letting them go anywhere, anyway. The fakestinians seek total annihilation of the Jews in Israel. At worst, the fakestinians might have to accept having been enthusiastic parts of the losing side of 8 aggressive wars of annihilation against Israel and go live in the arab world – the same arab world that ejected all of its Jews in 1948 and the same arab world allowed Kuwait to eject 400,000 fakestinians after the first Gulf War without a peep.

Schumer shows that The Party has weighed which part of their party has the future muscle for street action. Jewish Progressive Money may buy votes now but the real power projection has been proven to come from “the other side of the Jordan”. A secure Jewish State in the Middle East is expendable for the needs of The Party in the USSA. A Judas Goat.

What does it say about your Party when you need the Pro-Hamas vote to win an election?

JackinSilverSpring | March 14, 2024 at 1:41 pm

I would to tell Schumuck the obscene thing he should do to himself, but then I would get censored.

JackinSilverSpring in reply to JackinSilverSpring. | March 14, 2024 at 1:41 pm

That should be, “I would like to tell …”

Well, go head and say it to him on LI comments sections. Because there is an absolute zero chance that he would ever read it here or even know about it. You are wasting all of your breath. I have a plan. Maybe you should do something productive, like using your time, money, and energy to elect people to office who will support Israel. But that would require that you get off your fat ass and do something productive, instead of just posting comments on social media blogs. What are you personally going to be about this, other than bitch on message boards?

SO…. Netanyahu has “lost his way?” It takes immense nerve for this way past his prime jackass to even hint at what any foreign leader should do, and especially considering the dope that’s drooling in the White House of this country!

Any suggestion from half witted political hacks on how others should run their country is so out of line it is laughable. Half wits with a mic can say anything to embarrass themselves, but why this particular moron hasn’t been tarred and feathered and driven out of the country remains a mystery, along with the criminal who cheated his way to the top spot, and whose only real thought is when he gets his next ice cream cone.

Every country wishes they had a leader as intelligent and diligent as Bibi! But here, every time a demonrat has been in charge for too many decades past, everything goes to Hell in a hand basket.

Gee. This is just the sort of thing that will take Chuckie-Chuckie from getting 97% of the Jewish vote to 96.4%.

drsamherman in reply to Jmaquis. | March 14, 2024 at 7:31 pm

Wait….Schumer had a “prime”? I always thought of him not as a “has been”, but as a “never was”.

This is probably a violation of US law. But, he knows he can’t be prosecuted by the next Administration because he’s speaking from the Well of the Senate. Schumer is a horrible little man.

Milhouse in reply to TargaGTS. | March 14, 2024 at 2:21 pm

It isn’t and can’t be a violation of US law, even for someone who isn’t a congressman. The first amendment is sufficient to protect it; no need for congressional immunity. And Israelis are equally free to call for new elections in the USA.

alaskabob in reply to Milhouse. | March 14, 2024 at 2:29 pm

It is who is calling it though…. and the power to directly influence the politics. Yes… immunity. One of those necessary values but often abused.

Milhouse in reply to alaskabob. | March 14, 2024 at 3:18 pm

It doesn’t matter who it is, the first amendment protects everyone, no matter how powerful or influential. Congressional immunity doesn’t even come into play here.

mailman in reply to Milhouse. | March 14, 2024 at 6:26 pm

Not everyone. Trump doesn’t seem to have the right to free speech.

Milhouse in reply to Milhouse. | March 14, 2024 at 7:46 pm

Trump has the same freedom of speech as anyone else. He will undoubtedly be offering that as a defense in his various trials, if and when they ever get that far.

Of course, as a party to a court case he is subject to any lawful gag order that has been imposed on all parties. He is no more subject to it than the prosecution is. And of course non-parties are not subject to it.

healthguyfsu in reply to Milhouse. | March 15, 2024 at 2:00 am

We can no longer pretend that laws are applied evenly in this country.

They are doing what they can get away with in defense of Hamas

Like the protestors, Schumer should be tied to a chair in the front row of an IMAX theater and made to watch all video of the atrocities.

Blaise MacLean | March 14, 2024 at 4:24 pm

Why does the word “Kapo” keep running through my head?

drsamherman in reply to Blaise MacLean. | March 14, 2024 at 4:29 pm

Because it rhymes, in a political sense with “Soros”, and also describes that self-loathing POS and Schumer, who is equally a self-loathing POS.

Milhouse in reply to drsamherman. | March 14, 2024 at 7:34 pm

Neither Schumer nor Soros loathe themselves. On the contrary, they think far too highly of themselves. They don’t even loathe other Jews; they just don’t care too much about them.

In Soros’s case, he regards being Jewish as a mere accident of birth, and does not identify with other Jews any more than he would with people who happen to have the same color hair or a similar birthmark.

Schumer identifies more with other Jews, but not very strongly, not enough to regard their danger as his own. He lives about a mile from the scene of the Crown Heights pogrom in 1991 and yet didn’t bother showing up. Al D’amato came all the way from Long Island; Schumer couldn’t take a 20-minute walk.

drsamherman in reply to Milhouse. | March 14, 2024 at 8:05 pm

I beg to differ, Milhouse. Schumer shows a lot of symptoms, psychiatrically, of self-loathing, particularly his perfectionism and his need for attention and validation. Sometimes these can be mistaken for narcissism, but in his case, given the circumstances you describe, he is ashamed of being who he is and only uses his Jewish identification when it is convenient to him. I’ve seen it in many other distinct ethnicities and cultural groups. They use their identities like Swiss Army knives—pull this or that part of their total identity out like a blade only when convenient and then immediately put it away lest it be seen to rust or be “too much” (see the use of that term as used in the Southern idiom).

healthguyfsu in reply to Milhouse. | March 15, 2024 at 1:57 am

        Indeed. Both are narcissists.

WestRock in reply to drsamherman. | March 15, 2024 at 9:18 am

We need to start referring to them as JINOs. Jews In Name Only. Just because someone was born into Judaism doesn’t make them a practicing or adherent or observant Jew. Or even one who tries. It’s just like Biden pulling out his Catholic card when it suits him, but being all behind abortion and using deceit to gain advantage (which might nor be a sin, but it sure doesn’t reflect well on someone who uses religion as a shield).

2smartforlibs | March 14, 2024 at 4:52 pm

Obama had the same issue that’s where Perkin Coie came into the picture

Schumer who is Jewish is a pathetic hypocrite. He shouldn’t be going around talking about abuse of authority.

Steven Brizel | March 15, 2024 at 6:04 am

Schumer’s speech was an absolute disgrace and shows that he is 100% not the Shomer or guardian either of Israel or the American Jewish community .This is desertion of Israel and the American Jewish community under siege as well as election interference on a grand scale by a hack from Brooklyn who in his earliest days showed up at every Jewish communal gathering and event

Well we have finally found a regime change zionist neocons do not support. Grabbing my popcorn, this is fun.
