Not only is the door wide open to military age men from across the globe, but criminals know that there is little to no penalty to them for committing crimes ranging from looting/shoplifting to beating cops in broad daylight to, as in this Rhode Island case, repeated child sex crimes.

The biggest surprise here is that Biden’s ICE actually urged Rhode Island not to release him due to his depraved criminality.

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement said that Enforcement and Removal Operations Boston apprehended an unlawfully present citizen of Guatemala who is facing child sexual assault charges in Providence.
ICE said the man unlawfully entered the United States at an unknown time, and was arrested in Providence in March 2023 on felony child molestation charges.
ERO Boston lodged an immigration detainer against the Guatemalan citizen with the Adult Correctional Institute, but the man was released in April 2023 “by order of the Sixth District Court of Providence.”
“This Guatemalan national has disregarded U.S. immigration laws and has been charged with horrific crimes against a Rhode Island child,” ERO Boston Field Office Director Todd Lyons said. “We will continue to apprehend and remove egregious offenders who prey on the most vulnerable in our society.”
ICE said the man will remain in custody pending removal proceedings before a federal immigration judge. His charges in Providence are also pending.
The problem, of course, is that removing him from Biden’s America is meaningless when the border is wide open and these illegals just keep coming back without real penalty. Deporting them is pointless, and it doesn’t seem like Providence cares about their actual American citizens enough to prosecute this known sexual deviant who preys on the city’s children.

It is apparent that Americans can’t do simple jobs like pick crops, mow lawns, and cook food.
We should all be grateful that our saviors south of the border can help us with these difficult but necessary tasks. Especially those jobs that require the dexterity, dedication, and determination to have sexual relations with a child.

Where did you get this idea? It looks like he was treated exactly as if he were here legally, and thus brought before a court, bail conditions were set, and he was released when he met them. Presumably if he is still in the country on his trial date he will be tried; but now it looks like he will be deported instead, and thus be unable to appear. (Whether he would have appeared is a different question, of course, but the same question applies to legal aliens and to citizens.)

No, of course they don’t have to, though bail is a right, not a privilege. But the point is that RI, like all “sanctuaries”, are not giving illegal aliens special privileges, they’re just treating them like everyone else, ignoring the fact that they are here illegally, and thus should be treated differently.
Rhode Island is a “Sanctuary State” but it is all subject to change as soon as the Federal Guvmint changes their policy on Illegal Alien Immigration, hopefully in 2025.
Also, it depends on which city or locality the Illegal Alien decides to commit a crime in…the crime would be less tolerated in say Coventry or Burrillville in the western part of the state as opposed to Providence or Middletown or Pawtucket.

A change in federal policy can’t change a state’s determination to offer “sanctuary”. The tenth amendment protects states’ right to refuse cooperation with federal policy. Neither the president nor Congress can force a state to cooperate with ICE if it doesn’t want to.
The supreme court has said that Washington can use funding cuts as a tool of persuasion, but with several conditions, in particular: (1) The new conditions on the funding must be made by Congress, not by the executive branch. (2) The new conditions must be unambiguous. (3) The cut must be small enough that the state can afford to give it up and continue its refusal; otherwise it’s not persuasion, it’s coercion, and that is unconstitutional. See Dole v South Dakota.
If our governments continue in their failure to protect the country, people are going to begin taking matters into their own hands, and exercise their Second Amendment rights.
