Israeli Military Discovers ‘Child-Sized’ Suicide Vests in Gaza Medical Clinic

“IDF soldiers made the chilling discovery in a medical clinic that also held dozens of mortars and hundreds of grenades.”

The Israeli ground offensive continues to expose the depths of Hamas’ depravity. The Islamic terrorist group that burnt and beheaded Israeli babies on October 7, is now apparently grooming Gaza’s children to become suicide bombers in its jihad against the advancing Israeli troops.

Israeli soldiers found ‘child-sized suicide vests’ during a raid in northern Gaza, the Israeli media reported Sunday citing military sources.

The children’s suicide vests were reportedly hidden inside a medical facility. “IDF soldiers made the chilling discovery in a medical clinic that also held dozens of mortars and hundreds of grenades,” the Israeli broadcaster Arutz Sheva reported.

“In the northern Gaza Strip, IDF troops located a Hamas weapons compound inside a civilian structure. Explosive belts adapted for children, dozens of mortar shells, hundreds of grenades, and intelligence documents were found inside the compound, which was located adjacent to schools, a mosque, and a medical clinic,” the IDF disclosed in a press release on Sunday morning.

The suicide vests meant for children were uncovered amid reports that the IDF has killed more than 8,000 Hamas and allies terrorist fighters since the counter-terrorism operation was launched after October 7 massacre. In recent  days, Hamas has deployed female suicide bombers, covered in Burqa or similar full-body Islamic garbs, against IDF troops engaged in urban combat in Gaza.

Hamas is estimated to have a terrorist fighting force of around 30,000, recent Israeli estimates say. But many of the jihad fighters have began surrendering to the Israeli military and others are hiding underneath terror tunnels in residential areas — hoping that the international pressure will force Israel to stop the military operation without achieving its objective of ridding Gaza of Hamas.

Hundreds of Gaza terror targets hit

The military continues to destroy Hamas’s infrastructure and terrorist fighting force, an IDF press release on Sunday reveals

During IDF activity in the northern Gaza Strip, IDF troops identified a number of terrorists that exited a Hamas military compound containing observation assets. The ground forces directed an aerial strike on the compound and the terrorists were killed.

During IDF activity in Jabalya, the troops together with an aircraft and artillery, killed seven terrorists and destroyed four Hamas observation assets distributed in the area.

In addition, during a targeted raid on a military command center in Khan Yunis, IDF soldiers located numerous weapons, including dozens of grenades and explosives.

Over the past day, IDF ground, aerial, and naval forces struck approximately 200 terror targets in the Gaza Strip.

IDF losses 153 soldiers since Gaza ground op began

The Israeli military over the weekend lost at least 14 soldiers as battle against Hamas strongholds rages across Gaza, taking the total losses to 153 since the ground operation began more than eight weeks ago.

The IDF soldiers are fighting in an urban environment where their opponent treats its own civilians human shields while carrying out sneak attacking using a network of fortified and well-dug-in terror tunnels.

“The Israel Defense Forces announced Sunday the names of nine soldiers killed in fighting in the Gaza Strip throughout the previous day, bringing the number of troops killed over the entire weekend to 14, as the military deepened its offensive against the Hamas terror group,” the Times of Israel reported. “Five soldiers of the Combat Engineering Corps and a paramedic were killed by an anti-tank guided missile that hit a Namer armored engineering vehicle they were in, in southern Gaza. Another four were killed by bombs in two separate incidents during battles with gunmen in central Gaza.”

Ah come on now, they were for small people!
Now your making fun of short people

When will the Islamophobia against short Hamas soldiers stop?

Take it to unconditional surrender, and be selective as to which surrenders to accept.

For the first time ever I heard in the news two very specific demands from Israel, 1. Hamas to lay down its arms and surrender and 2. Hand over all hostages.

The Israeli spokesman then very clearly stated that the war will stop immediately these two things happen.

What is refreshing about this is that the leftist liberal media is very veeeeeery slowly letting the world now what Israel is demanding to end this war.

Although I suspect this is more because the left can no longer control the dissemination of information as they could in the past and are doing this more as an ass covering exercise than broadcasting the truth.

I’m sure the news did not bother reporting that these two demands have been consistent for weeks or more. Hamas could have ended this war at any time, but distracting people from that crucial fact is vital to Hamas’ propaganda strategy.

    No need to suspect.

I still don’t have a handle on how this plays out. The same technologies that free information and collaboration, get used to stifle, deceive and direct. I don’t even know how to assess who might win in the end.

The only reason hams exists is generations of Pales brainwashing their children to be like Hamas. Half of Pale’s are brainwashed children. There is nothing which can be done to cure either adults or the vast majority of their children. Pales are the most extreme example I have seen of sins of the fathers. They are doomed.

Israel losing 153 soldiers is roughly equivalent to the U.S. losing 5,558, but given the nearly universal military service & the small interconnected population, the impact is greater – at a personal, national & economic level.

    HY”D

Given the small number of casualties in possibly the toughest terrain to fight in then that is an incredible achievement and just shows the lengths Israel goes to protect its troops, the levels of training and the utter professionalism of the IDF.

I would add that there are avenues that Israel could pursue to greatly reduce IDF casualties. Of course, these approached would significantly increase Hamas casualties. The fact that Israel is willing to accept more IDF casualties speaks highly of their morality.

The tiny suicide vests are really no shock to those of us who lived through the Vietnam years. Bereft urchins toddling towards troops holding explosive stuffies. This sort of thing has always been de rigueur among BAMN totalitarians, whether they be commies, Muslims, or Democrats.

Especially so after the sandbox where we had IED strapped to children, women, the elderly, the retarded, folks in wheelchairs. We had a couple of incidents in Ramadi with an IED on dogs and even on a donkey that I witnessed the aftermath of. Then there are the VBIED to include on a damn bicycle. Modern asymmetric urban warfare is cruelly unforgiving. Less than 200 is very good. This total plus the actions surrounding the killing of the escaped hostages seem to tell us the IDF has a very unrestricted RoE in place.
