Anti-Cop Minnesota Dem Leader Wants Tougher Crime Laws After Violent Carjacking
Maybe we shouldn’t dismantle and defund police departments.
In 2020, Shivanthi Sathanandan, the 2nd Vice Chairwoman for the Minnesota Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party, demanded Minneapolis defund and dismantle the police force.
The Minneapolis City Council did just that. The lack of funding and support led many to leave the force and not join the department.
The result? Higher crime.
Sathanandan changed her tune the other day when four armed guys attacked and carjacked her in front of her children:
Look at my face. REMEMBER ME when you are thinking about supporting letting juveniles and young people out of custody to roam our streets instead of HOLDING THEM ACCOUNTABLE FOR THEIR ACTIONS.
You could have been reading the obituary for me and my children today. But instead I’m here. To write this.

I also hope people understand why cops exist. Not all cops are great people, but not all cops are bad people.
We pay too much attention to the bad apples in the bunch. Those bad apples are small compared to the good around them.

She didn’t have to finger the assailants as black (which she did when she posted ““LISTEN and LEARN from our Black siblings”) and I don’t see the narrative upside to her doing so. If she was trolling us, they would have turned white, and she would have been carrying a shwarma home from Subway.
I was reading about this last night, and then and so far today there is no mention at all of the apparent ethnicity of her attackers. If they would have been any of the ethnic groups that are collectively referred to in the media as “White” [with the word racist appended] it would have led the headlines. Americans have learned to read between the lines. IF they are caught, they will be defined as poor ‘yoots’ who are turning their lives around. Under the Soros DA/Defund the Police rules, they will not really be prosecuted.
Minnesota has made its choices as much as the Democrat electoral system allows. Let the expressed will of the Minnesota people and the DFL be carried out.

Just as a purely hypothetical. let’s say that a concerned neighbor watching from a second-story window across the street observed the thugs beating this woman. They actually WANT to see vigilante action being taken, so that they can use it as an excuse for the removal of the right of self-defense from normal people. Firearms confiscation is a necessary precursor to their complete takeover of what used to be the US.
Not just the removal of firearms, but a general crackdown into a police state. And the people will be grateful for their safety.
