Nine Years Later, Race Hustlers are Still Lying About the Death of Michael Brown

Nine Years Later, Race Hustlers are Still Lying About the Death of Michael Brown

The “hands up, don’t shoot” lie gave birth to the formal Black Lives Matter movement. Possibly the most significant social and political movement of the past decade, one that has re-shaped our country, was based on a lie that is repeated year after year after year. I’m never, ever, going to stop telling the truth about it.

Nine years ago today, Michael Brown was shot dead by policeman Darren Wilson in Ferguson, Missouri. The death created the Black Lives Matter movement, which prior to that was only a hashtag, and took it to national fame, based on the claim that Brown was shot with his “hands up” while pleading “don’t shoot.”

But the Black Lives Matter movement was birthed based up on a lie. Two lies, actually. The first was the lie about the Trayvon Martin shooting that created the hashtag – Martin was not shot because he was black while wearing a hoodie. He was shot one time by George Zimmerman while Martin was beating him to a bloody pulp mixed martial arts style and slamming his head into concrete. We covered the trial exhaustively, and Zimmerman properly was found by the jury to have acted in lawful self-defense.

But the Brown lie was even bigger, because it birthed both the formal movement and the movement’s overarching propaganda slogan, “hands up, don’t shoot.”

In reality, Brown was a criminal who strong-armed a local mini-mart then sucker punched Wilson who was seated in his patrol car and reached to steal Wilson’s service pistol, leading to the first shot. When Wilson exited the vehicle Brown made a second charge at Wilson, and who fired the fatal shot.

Extensive investigation by local prosecutors and the Obama/Eric Holder Department of Justice, including review of forensic evidence such as Brown’s fingerprints on the muzzel of Wilson’s gun and bruises on Wilson’s face where Brown punched him while trying to steal the gun, exonerated Wilson.

The DOJ found that there was no credible evidence to back up the “hands up, don’t shoot” narrative.

We have coverd this many, many times:

The Michael Brown Black Lives Matter narrative was a monstrous lie. Yet one that continued to motivate the Black Lives Matter movement.

The lie will not die, today there were memorials to Brown’s death which continued the lie.

Matt Walsh makes a good point about the lie:

This only goes to show how the Left plays the long game. The whole Michael Brown narrative has been definitively exposed as a hoax but they will keep repeating it year after year after year until we get tired of correcting it and the truth is forgotten by history.

Here are some of the commemorations of Brown’s death. Keep in mind the people and groups tweeting these lies, they are the cream of the leftist social and racial justice movements:

Possibly the most significant social and political movement of the past decade, one that has re-shaped our country, was based on the lie about how Michael Brown died. So the lie must be repeated year after year after year.

I’m never, ever, going to stop telling the truth about it.

Is there such a thing as an honest race hustler? That’s like asking if there’s an honest person in the Democrat leadership. And if anyone thinks that isn’t rhetorical, the answer to both is no.

Back in the 60’s those riots were cover to loot, they still are. Many of those social problems could be fixed by removing rioters, looters from our gene pool. Everyone, including blacks would be much better off after a culling. What better way and time is there for this, instance justice.

That is incorrect. It is “pants up, don’t look”.

The PO is lucky it happened 9 years ago, a few years later

He’s in MN and he’s a dead man walking, in prison for LIFE

Wilson, Chauvin, Zimmerman etal are all heroes

they prevented further harm being perpetrated by these thugs in the future, which you know damn well woulda happened

these thugs can’t cut it in the real world, so they try and destroy everyone else’s world

I’ll add that one of the most courageous groups of people in the country is the jury the Ferguson-Brown case. It was still early days after the Travon Martin incident, but I doubt such a jury could be assembled anywhere in the country today.

The jury in the Chauvin trial is a classic example of what to expect in trials today. There, the combination of ignorance plus flat out in-your-face willingness to ignore facts-information-disclosed in trial testimony resulted in what amounts to nothing more than a posse dressed up in the costume and theater of a legal proceeding. With rare exceptions, politicized legal community itself has reduced, allowed the term “rule of law” to become little more than a quip, a meaningless throwaway line in the the country today.

The problem is societal morality; it won’t be, can’t be, fixed by the silliness of passing laws that make it a violation of the law to disobey the law.

Came here to post the same. Well said.

No post about race hoaxes should omit a quote by ex-slave Booker T. Washington.

Way back in 1911 he said:

“There is another class of coloured people who make a business of keeping the troubles, the wrongs, and the hardships of the Negro race before the public. Having learned that they are able to make a living out of their troubles, they have grown into the settled habit of advertising their wrongs — partly because they want sympathy and partly because it pays. Some of these people do not want the Negro to lose his grievances, because they do not want to lose their jobs.

“My Larger Education: Being Chapters from My Experience”

Or in 2013, this summary:

There is a certain class of race problem-solvers who don’t want the patient to get well, because as long as the disease holds out they have not only an easy means of making a living, but also an easy medium through which to make themselves prominent before the public.

“The Booker T. Washington Reader,” Simon and Schuster (2013), p.199.

Provides a really nice context in the matter.

So the democrats and fascists lied. And a highly ignorant and brainwashed populace believed.
Color me shocked.

    It’s the eternal tension between:

(The price of liberty is eternal vigilance,
You have a Republic, if you can keep it.)

    and

(You can fool some of the people all of the time.
There’s a sucker born every minute.)

    Both viewpoints are true.
Their collision condemns any hopes of good government.

Today is the 9th anniversary of Mike Brown’s killing.

He would be alive today if the institutions of racism and white supremacy were eradicated.

    He should be alive today.

    We will never forget.

We will continue to fight for justice and accountability.

The fact that they can’t find ONE actual legitimate unarmed black man shot by police to be their mascot, and have to constantly resort to lying about thugs like George Floyd, Michael Brown, or Trayvon Martin, demonstrates what an utter crock of shit the entire racism narrative is.

ecreegan in reply to Olinser. | August 10, 2023 at 8:55 am

There is at least one. His name was Walter Scott, and he was shot in the back by Michael Slager while running away after being stopped for a broken brake light. This was caught on cellphone video, as was Slager dropping something (his taser, iirc) by Scott’s body afterwards.

Scott’s child support (going through the state of South Carolina) was misfiled, and he was arrested and held for failure to pay, when he had paid in full and the state made a paperwork error. This caused him to be fired from a job which paid very well. When he could not find a job that paid equally well, the state did not adjust his child support and he fell in arrears. There was
a warrant for his arrest for failure to pay, and while it wasn’t actively being pursued, it would have turned up when the cop ran the paperwork, and then he’d get held again – for something he couldn’t help – and fired again. So when he was stopped in a friend’s car for a malfunctioning brake light, he fled.

There were a few protests at the time, but it got rapidly dropped.

You haven’t heard about it because it’s not useful to the racial grievance crowd. Being told not to shoot an unidentified man running away from a traffic stop – black or white – makes zero impact on cops. They know they’re only allowed to shoot a fleeing man if there’s danger to others (e.g. if they stop an armed man whose ex has an order of protection against him and he runs towards his ex’s house, they can shoot him.) Hearing that again, even in the form of murder charges brought against the cop who killed a man that way, doesn’t change their behavior. Being told that if they defend themselves against a black man attacking them makes cops reluctant to get into that situation, and making the cops reluctant to enforce the laws on blacks is EXACTLY the point of BLM.

(April 4, 2015; Charleston SC; Slager is in for 20 on federal civil rights charges after pleading guilty to get state murder charges and other federal charges dropped; said murder charges got a hung jury in the first trial and there was no other trial.)

Massinsanity in reply to ecreegan. | August 10, 2023 at 10:05 am

This is the one that came to mind for me. The video is brutal to watch.

Olinser in reply to ecreegan. | August 10, 2023 at 4:38 pm

No, I’m sure you haven’t heard of it because at every stage it was a Democrat government that screwed over a black man.

Even if he, himself, were innocent, they will never, EVER highlight the story of government screwing a black man, because their entire schtick is their benevolent government is necessary to save them from the evil Republicans.

Char Char Binks in reply to ecreegan. | August 11, 2023 at 6:26 pm

      False

Scott took the taser from Slager and shot him with it, then ran as he threw it to the ground, a dangerous fleeing felon, fair game. It’s disgusting that “conservatives” burned a good cop to assuage the mob. This only emboldened the anti-white, anti-justice Woke activists, and brought more grief to Chauvin, Lane, Thao, Keung, Potter, Dean, Drejka, Bryan, and the McMichaels, and it’s growing

Char Char Binks in reply to ecreegan. | August 11, 2023 at 6:59 pm

Cops can only shoot an armed felon if he’s running toward his ex’s house, and she has a restraining order against him? You must be a lawyer, or a wizard, or something

Char Char Binks in reply to Flatworm. | August 11, 2023 at 6:37 pm

So what? There was absolutely no evidence that Amber Guyger shot Jean out of animus, racial or otherwise, or for any other reason than entering the wrong apartment by mistake and thinking Jean was an intruder

henrybowman in reply to Olinser. | August 10, 2023 at 2:59 pm

Well, we did have a legally armed black man (Philando Castile) shot by a Hispanic cop for no reason short of unprofessional panic; and an unarmed (and somewhat unclad) white female (Justine Diamond) shot by a Somalian cop for much the same reason. Both in uber progressive Minneapolis-St. Paul. Hm.

Char Char Binks in reply to henrybowman. | August 11, 2023 at 6:43 pm

Castile was carrying illegally, his CCW permit immediately invalidated by illegal drug use. He also stupidly reached into his pocket immediately after telling the cop he was armed, probably because he got high

Ah, yes. According to the vile, dishonest and stupid Dumb-o-crats, the cure for cancer will never be discovered, because of alleged “gentle giant,” Michael Brown’s self-inflicted demise.

Gosport in reply to guyjones. | August 9, 2023 at 11:16 pm

He had a job interview coming up ‘soon’.

(Sorry, I binge watched a bunch of those defendant arraignment videos last weekend and that is such a constant claim in them that one judge said he was single-handedly putting employment agencies out of business)

Note that it’s not just race hustlers getting in on all the lying.
Check out the enthusiastic me-tooism exhibited by the gun-grabbing professional liars at Giffords and Newtown Action Alliance.

Anyone know where Wilson is now, and how he is earning a living (or not)? I hope someone offered him a job somewhere.

To me the biggest mystery of the whole story is why Wilson did such a foolish thing as to voluntarily resign his job with no deal. If they wanted him out they should have paid him to leave. What did he think was going to happen, that other police forces would be lining up to hire him?! Maybe smart ones would, but how many of those are there?

The “hands up don’t shoot” canard is very, very much implied in the Michelle Obama biopic, produced by the woman who is married to Jack Smith, the latest prosecutor out to get Trump. What a pair! Leads me to think Michelle O is running and and that the lie will never die. They won’t let it, it’s too useful. https://pd1000.substack.com/p/is-michelle-obama-running

I love how they use his picture in cap and gown at graduation.

Why not just use his baby pictures?

I don’t see the logic here. Am I to infer that had these two, small, particular incidents been just as described that the violent BLM movement would have been justified?

Who cares? Stop explaining the nasty, tawdry, agony aunt details to stubborn idiots with blocked ears. The real issue is that scum-of-the-earth, Ivy-educated white people are ginning up racial violence among low IQ minorities for their own gain. Attack the cabal and stop bothering with the sideshow.

I remember that whole Hands up bs was started by a local political activist. Of course, I could not remember his name,, but the internet doesn’t forget.

He was Anthony Shahid. Seriously.. a little bit of trivia.. but it caught on like wild fire,..

BLM was us and will always be a race baiting Marxist fraud

The other lie that will not die and is used repeatedly by the dementia patient in the WH is the “very fine people” lie.

Tell me “Black lives matter” as a declarative sentence, and you’re preaching to the choir.

Tell me to support Black Lives Matter the organization–no way.

America does NOT have a race problem, America has a PROBLEM RACE.

Black lies matter.

I live in St. Louis and worked with a guy who knew Michael Brown and lived in his neighborhood. His take: “Michael Brown was a thug. Michael Brown would be alive today if he hadn’t tried to be a badass.”

It may not be sheer coincidence that Judge Tanya Chutkan, who will be presiding over the trial of Donald Trump on the January 6 charges, is known for two things:

Throwing the book at January 6 defendants.

Acting as an apologist for BLM.

Perhaps a closer examination of the alleged Federal cases against Donald Trump won’t detract from continued investigations of DIE, CRT, and so on.

    #BlackFAMILIESMatter -> All families matter.

If I recall, the “hands up, don’t shoot” narrative was put forth by of one of Michael Brown’s pals at the scene. With the press eager for content, they were interviewing anyone at hand who had something to say.

I remember reading about a local who was angry because a convenience store had been burned to the ground. He was demanding that someone had better fix it quick because now he had to go further out of the neighborhood to get his smokes.

Seems to me that Brown just committed suicide by cop.

As a side note I have an “All Lives Matter” sticker on my vehicle. Outside a small general store an elderly black woman stopped me and said “I like your sticker young man” I told her that all Americans matter no matter who they are and she said “Amen”
