Soros-Backed Group Receiving Millions From Biden Admin to Teach Puerto Rican Men About ‘Toxic Masculinities’

“Peace Accords uses highly trained violence interrupters and street outreach workers, public education campaigns – such as those addressing structural racism and toxic masculinities…”

The Washington Free Beacon reported that the Taller Salud, a nonprofit backed by George Soros, received millions from the Biden administration to teach Puerto Rican men about “structural racism and toxic masculinities”:

President Joe Biden’s Justice Department in October awarded the lucrative grant to Taller Salud, a “feminist, culturally specific nonprofit organization” in Puerto Rico. The money comes from the department’s Community-Based Violence Intervention and Prevention Initiative, which aims to address crime through police alternatives. Taller Salud, which receives funding from liberal billionaire George Soros’s Open Society Foundations, will use the $2 million to further implement its “community violence intervention program,” which includes “public education campaigns” to address “structural racism and toxic masculinities” among Puerto Rican men between the ages of 15 and 30.

The Biden-backed program will specifically train a “minimum of 40 young males” annually on “violence interruption” and “conflict mediation,” among other practices. The program places an emphasis on eradicating “structural racism” and street violence by hosting “cultural activities,” including mural painting, according to Taller Salud’s website.

The $2,000,000 funding began in 2022 and will end in 2025.

“Peace Accords uses highly trained violence interrupters and street outreach workers, public education campaigns – such as those addressing structural racism and toxic masculinities – behavioral and workforce services, and community mobilization to prevent and reduce violence,” according to the description of the grant. “With OJP’s CVIPI funding, the program will serve a minimum of 40 young males (ages: 15-30) residents of the region every year with violence interruption, conflict mediation, behavioral, education, employment and community outreach activities.”

The average income per capita in Puerto Rico is $14,000 a year. If Taller Salud “trains” 120 men per year, it will cost $17,000 per person.

How about you invest that money into the country to help form jobs and provide higher income?

Gotta keep that money for yourself:

While some conservative policy experts argue law enforcement is underfunded, Taller Salud appears to be flush with cash. The organization’s CEO, Tania Rosario Méndez, pays herself nearly triple the median income in Puerto Rico, tax documents show. The nonprofit’s CFO, Yamara Rodríguez, earns well over double the median income. Over 40 percent of Puerto Ricans live in poverty, according to the Census Bureau.

On her Instagram page, Méndez describes herself as an “anti-racist activist for environmental justice and gender equality.” Her organization’s page, meanwhile, promotes abortions and “antiracism.”

Machismo accurately describes Hispanic culture. They are planning their emasculation. I don”t think that is what they want.

I do not consent to my tax dollars being spent for this worthless WEF propaganda.

How many toxic masculinities are there?

“Violence interruption.” I picture a social worker hanging out at a domestic abuser’s house, ready to jump in and say “Stop!” when he rears back to slug his nagging harpy wife yet again.

Violence interruption — the biggest Democrat scam on the books for funding the enterprises of their criminal constituents. Do a web search for “Hector ‘Big Weasel’ Marroquin.” There are dozens more just like Hector, including some in high elected office.

Millions of dollars worth of propaganda wouldn’t even make a dent in the masculinity of Puerto Rican men.

And Gaia help the femanaxis who were trying to do so if they are still around when the pendulum swings. Whole new depths of “toxic masculinity” are likely to be explored.

The remaining number of feminine (as opposed to feminist) women should be fine when the pendulum does eventually swings the opposite direction. The women who comport themselves as Ladies shouldn’t have any issues in such an environment. The 3rd feminists we see in some videos of protests who act aggressively, yell and scream at folks inside their ‘personal space’, sometimes knocking things out of folks hands or otherwise initiate physical contact….these masculine women may have an epiphany as you suggest.

Good. That’ll push them into the Republican Party. Then the Dems won’t want to add Puerto Rico as a State.

Complete money laundering top down for the Democrats. Who knew a sociology major would be so financially lucrative?

Professor Biden is teaching the Puerto Rican political class how to grift onto the Bidenomics gravy train. No exams and attendance in class is not required.

I can’t believe we can’t stop this freaking government from stealing our money for such BS

I hope they come to Philadelphia and New York and try some “outreach” in their lovely Puerto Rican communities.

This is Marxist brainwashing

What the hell? It is time we stop sending American taxpayer funds all over the planet, period. Left or right, it doesn’t matter. It all ends up in offshore accounts. Judging from recent history, there’s an excellent chance 10 or 20 points will end up in BCF accounts. (biden crime family)

“How about you invest that money into the country to help form jobs and provide higher income?”

How about we keep it here and in our own pockets?

It won’t cost anywhere near $17,000 per person. Most of that money will get pumped into leftwing causes. A lot of the left is funded this way.

Puerto Rican here. Does anyone think the issues with PR men are going to be solved by throwing money at the problem, let alone $oro$ money?

Yes, there is a problem with the men there, especially when it comes to domestic violence. Every woman in the island knows this. Sure, there are good men there. But the bad men are the ones who cause the headaches, dominate the mug shots and dominate the headlines. There are deeper issues than “toxic masculinity” and “racism” in the psyches of such men.

BTW, why “racism”, when 98 percent of the population in PR are mixed-race? Everybody knows there’s an African or Taino ancestor in practically every person’s family tree. Why do they want to transfer BLM talk to a mixed-race island? It don’t make sense.
