Sen. Kennedy: DOJ Doing What It ‘Can to Make Sure That President Trump is the Nominee’

Sen. Kennedy: DOJ Doing What It ‘Can to Make Sure That President Trump is the Nominee’

“President Biden wants President Trump as an opponent, because given President Biden’s poll numbers, he polls right up there with Bud Light, he thinks…President Trump is the only person he can beat.”

Sen. John Kennedy (R-LA) never minces words or holds back:

KENNEDY: “I think some Americans are drawing this conclusion that — that President Biden and President Trump have a codependency. President Trump wants President Biden as an opponent because he thinks he’ll be the easiest to beat. President Biden wants President Trump as an opponent, because given President Biden’s poll numbers, he polls right up there with Bud Light, he thinks — he thinks President Trump is — is — is the only person he can beat. Now one of them is going to be wrong. But — but I think, I hate to say this, but I think it’s a fair observation, I think the Justice Department’s going to do pretty much — at the senior levels, whatever they can to make sure that President Trump is the nominee because that’s who President Biden wants.”

Plans within plans and all too likely to be shrugged off. No moss growing on Sen Kennedy, dude is sharp.

Someone behind the lawfare is figuring it makes Trump the only possible nominee for the recalcitrant sorts, but as long as they can keep the “bad news” flowing during the campaign, he remains “un-electable.”

I can certainly see their point on both of those. But they don’t need to be right – just right enough to get it within the margin of fraud.

Whether he is electable or not depends on a lot of factors, but their plan depends on Dementia Joe surviving another year. If he doesn’t, KH will be their nominee.

Famous last words. Remember Obama and his mic drop?

The better odds are that Biden will not get there, if you look at him yesterday and consider his corruption and cruelty.

Trump should campaign with Biden’s granddaughter.

This will be a tricky one for Democrats and their propaganda arm to manage. This also needs to happen sooner rather than later so that Democrats can manage the fall out from giving their sock puppet the heave ho.

If Biden is there at Christmas, he will be there on election day…after…evening, once he eventually wakes up (or is woken up by his medical staff).

Will Biden make it to the Convention? The actuarial tables say he should last 1 more year easily, but he is getting worse. That is the biggest risk they run. If Biden doesn’t make it to the convention, Kamala Harris will be their nominee. If he can stay alive until the Convention, Biden can say his health is failing and endorse Newsom or Whitmer. Otherwise, they might have to run KH.

“they can to make sure that President Trump is the nominee because that’s who President Biden wants.”

…and I suspect thats also who conservatives want (at the end of the day). Why its almost as if Biden’s Junta doesnt actually have to do a damn thing.

However these intellectual pygmies cannot help themselves.

The problem with planning is once introduce the human element all plans go out the window.

“The best laid plans of mice and men…”
Also, “Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails.”

I told a knuckledragger yesterday that every time they attack Trump his poll numbers jump.

The Democrats jumped the shark over DJT in 2015, and they haven’t yet managed to swim back to shore.

Yes, because piling on charge after charge, trying to find a venue that will declare him a felon so he CAN’T run is a tactic to make him the nominee.

This is how stupid nevertrumpers think you are. This is how stupid leftists and democrats think you are–but I repeat myself.

As in 2016, they will do ANYTHING, even destroy the American legal system –perhaps even allow a virus to ‘leak’ AGAIN –to keep Trump from power.

Nevertrumpers, like their leftist masters, are the enemy. Don’t ever forget that.

    If I understand you…
You’re saying they are not trying to make a lot of people support him (because they want to fight back against the injustice being committed) in the primaries, only to then have those they consider “normies” reject him because of the legal troubles? They just want to keep him from running?

It’s a valid thought process, but I think not giving credit where credit is due. Those directing the lawfare are consummate smear artists. They’re biggest issue is underestimating “the right.” (Though, admittedly, after watching Republicans as representatives of “the right” they can be excused for that.)

Azathoth in reply to GWB. | July 19, 2023 at 3:33 pm

What I am saying is that the left, the Democrats and the nevertrumpers want exactly what they appear to be pursuing –Donald Trump convicted of a felony so that he is A) in jail, and B) forbidden from running for ANY office.

If possible, they want that conviction to be humiliating and have a retardedly long sentence.

They do not want Biden or ANY Democrat to have to run against him again because of the magnitude of the cheat they’d have to mount this time.

Because they know they’ve already lost.

They know that, even now, they’re existing on borrowed time and they’re inflicting as much damage as they can on their way out in the hope that they’ll be able, by so doing, to leave enough shreds behind that, one day, another useful idiot will start the process all over again.

There is no prohibition against someone with a felony holding the office of president,.

inspectorudy in reply to Azathoth. | July 19, 2023 at 6:33 pm

You are going to run out of tin foil soon.

My take is they want DJT to run but scare off some Republicans so their vote fraud will look legitimate

Azathoth, why do you think a felon can’t run for president and serve as president if elected? The consensus seems to be that nothing bars it. See this, for example.

The_Mew_Cat in reply to New Neo. | July 20, 2023 at 4:03 pm

A felon can run, but it is kinda hard to campaign from jail. That will actually give Dementia Joe an advantage since he will be able to campaign from his basement, but Trump won’t be able to campaign at all.

Senator Kennedy is a major disappointment

He has come out from under his rock against conservatives before

He’s bought

That’s your go-to for everyone you don’t agree with: they’re bought. How else could anyone possibly disagree with your well-known wisdom, keen insight, and deep understanding of all the things, right? /smh

Trump. The most persecuted INNOCENT man in American history.

inspectorudy in reply to gonzotx. | July 19, 2023 at 6:35 pm

Of all the words in the English language, “Innocent” is not one I would use to describe DJT.

Ghostrider in reply to gonzotx. | July 20, 2023 at 3:20 am

Clever use of the words persecuted and innocent in a sentence when characterizing former President Trump.

Let’s hope his lawyers don’t rely on emotional sentiment or defense by Truth Social to persuade a jury when defending him in what looks like four or possibly five impending trials.

The_Mew_Cat | July 20, 2023 at 4:01 pm

I’m no longer sure that Biden is actually running, but it is clear their plan is to pretend he is running to avoid a contentious primary, and if he isn’t, they will just have Joe say his health is failing at the Convention and endorse Newsom or Whitmer. They absolutely want Trump to be the nominee, and to be forced to run from jail where he cannot campaign, but I don’t think they are really worried if DeSantis gets nominated instead, since DeSantis’ abortion position makes him unelectable in swing states.
