The nation continues to be on the front lines, defending Western Civilization from the barbarism of woke ideology. Meanwhile, Miss Netherlands crowns its first transgendered individual.
Not long ago, Italy banned the sale of insect flour for use in its traditional foods, such as pizza and pasta.
The nation continues to be on the front lines, defending Western Civilization from the barbarism of woke ideology. This time, the country is banning transgender contestants from its “Miss Universe” competitions.
The Miss Italy beauty pageant has announced that it will not allow transgender competitors, and all entrants must be “a woman from birth.”
“Since it was born, my competition has foreseen in its regulation the clarification according to which one must be a woman from birth,” Miss Italy Official Patron Patrizia Mirigliani said during an interview with a local outlet and reported by Newsweek.
“Probably because, even then, it was foreseen that beauty could undergo modifications, or that women could undergo modifications, or that men could become women,” she added.
Evie Magazine reported that Mirigliani criticized efforts from other competitions to create inclusivity as “a bit absurd” and merely attempts to “make the news.” She also claimed the rules for the competition always specified that entrants must be a woman from birth.
Miss Universe has been allowing this insanity since 2012.
“We have a long history of supporting equality for all women and this was something we took very seriously,” the president of the Miss Universe contest, Paula Shugart, said at the time, according to Reuters.
The 2018 Miss Universe pageant saw the first transgender woman to compete in Angela Ponce, who previously won the Miss Spain contest.
“This is for you, for those who have no visibility, no voice, because we all deserve a world of respect, inclusion and freedom…And today I am here, proudly representing my nation, all women and human rights,” Ponce wrote in an Instagram post at the time.
How has that approach worked out for them? As well as you would expect . . .
The 2021 Miss Universe pageant drew 2.7 million total viewers on Fox, which put the network in last place among the Big 4 broadcasters. That is down 30% from the 3.8 million viewers the 2019 pageant, Fox’s last one, averaged. Like Sunday night’s event, that one also went up against NFL football.
More recently, the Netherlands just had its first trans winner in its suite of competitions.
After winning the pageant on Saturday, Kollé will advance to represent her Dutch homeland at the Miss Universe pageant, set to take place in El Salvador later this year. The 22-year-old was crowned with a tiara by her predecessor, Ona Moody, onstage at the AFAS Theater in Leusden.
“I DID IT !!!!!” the model said in a post on Instagram. “Yes I’m trans and I want to share my story but I’m also Rikkie and that’s what matters to me,” Kollé wrote. “And wherever you are in the world, I want to be there for you and be the example that I missed as a little me.”
After seeing the transgender woman who won Miss Universe Netherlands and comparing him to the absolutely beautiful female runner up, it’s no surprise the Miss Italy beauty pageant has BANNED transgender competitors.

I suspect the ratings will be even worse next year.
I am also delighted to say that the family will be heading to Italy next year, and we intend to enjoy the great food and the nation’s appreciation for real beauty.DONATE
