Rhode Island Democrat State Senator Charged With Keying Car With “Biden Sucks” Sticker

A Rhode Island Democrat State Senator named Joshua Miller was arrested on Friday after he was accused of keying another man’s car because it had an anti-Biden bumper sticker on it.

Have our politics really become this petty and hateful? Yes, they have.

Joshua Miller, a Democrat representing Cranston and Providence, was arrested by the Cranston Police Department for allegedly damaging a vehicle.The arrest was first reported by NBC 10’s Gene Valicenti whose sources tell him that Miller is accused of keying a Trump supporter’s vehicle in the Garden City Shopping Center on Thursday.The Cranston Police Department later confirmed that via a press release to the media.When asked by Valicenti if he keyed a Trump supporter’s car, Miller responded “I have to review the charges.”Valicenti asked Miller if he had changed clothes at the scene to avoid identification.Miller responded, “I took my jacket off, that’s not against the law.”The Cranston Police Department said the keying occurred at the Garden City Shopping Center.Police were called to the shopping center Thursday afternoon after the vehicle’s owner and passenger heard a loud scratching sound when they returned to their car. The owner and passenger said they saw a man standing on the side of their car holding a keychain and gripping a single key while quickly walking away.

Shouldn’t Miller be above this sort of thing?

It is not the first politically-charged altercation for Miller.Previous EpisodeIn 2014, Miller was caught on video at the Rhode Island State House telling a Second Amendment supporter “go f—k yourself.”He later apologized.Cranston Police and Miller did not respond to request for comment at time of publication.

Miller sounds like a real class act.
