Rhode Island Democrat State Senator Charged With Keying Car With “Biden Sucks” Sticker

Rhode Island Democrat State Senator Charged With Keying Car With “Biden Sucks” Sticker

“Police were called to the shopping center Thursday afternoon after the vehicle’s owner and passenger heard a loud scratching sound when they returned to their car.”

A Rhode Island Democrat State Senator named Joshua Miller was arrested on Friday after he was accused of keying another man’s car because it had an anti-Biden bumper sticker on it.

Have our politics really become this petty and hateful? Yes, they have.

WJAR News in Providence reports:

First on 10: Sen. Joshua Miller charged with malicious damage of car in Cranston

Another public official from Cranston is in hot water after being accused of scratching a car with a key.

Rhode Island Sen. Joshua Miller, a Democrat representing Cranston and Providence, was arrested by the Cranston Police Department for allegedly damaging a vehicle.

The arrest was first reported by NBC 10’s Gene Valicenti whose sources tell him that Miller is accused of keying a Trump supporter’s vehicle in the Garden City Shopping Center on Thursday.

The Cranston Police Department later confirmed that via a press release to the media.

When asked by Valicenti if he keyed a Trump supporter’s car, Miller responded “I have to review the charges.”

Valicenti asked Miller if he had changed clothes at the scene to avoid identification.

Miller responded, “I took my jacket off, that’s not against the law.”

The Cranston Police Department said the keying occurred at the Garden City Shopping Center.

Police were called to the shopping center Thursday afternoon after the vehicle’s owner and passenger heard a loud scratching sound when they returned to their car. The owner and passenger said they saw a man standing on the side of their car holding a keychain and gripping a single key while quickly walking away.

Shouldn’t Miller be above this sort of thing?

Here’s a video of Miller being pulled over by police after the incident:

According to GoLocalProvidence, Miller has a record of controversial behavior:

It is not the first politically-charged altercation for Miller.

Previous Episode

In 2014, Miller was caught on video at the Rhode Island State House telling a Second Amendment supporter “go f—k yourself.”

He later apologized.

Cranston Police and Miller did not respond to request for comment at time of publication.

Miller sounds like a real class act.

Imagine his brain locking up if he’d seen a Biden Sucks sticker on a Prius?

Gosh, looks like he would cry like a little ninny if someone ever bowed up at him. It is sad to spend your life in a constant state of paranoia.

He explained everything. The other guy recognized him and called out his name. So Miller concluded he was a member of a band of gun nuts who were stalking him at the Statehouse. In a preemptive act of self defense he stood his ground and keyed the guy’s car. He’s both a victim and a hero.

This guy should repair the damage to the vehicle, then serve 10 days and pay costs for his prosecution and confinement. What a proud activist. Not enough opportunity to slash the tires.

No resistance to the hive mind is allowed, not even a bumper sticker. The really disturbing thing is this d/prog lawmaker felt entitled or perhaps compelled to do it b/c reasons. This whacko and to be fair probably many more gets to decide what laws the folks in RI live under.

If you live in State that f2 or 3 election cycles couldn’t be reasonably expected to put the d/prog in a political minority and roll back their crazy then you may want to consider getting while the getting is good. You don’t want to be the trail vehicle in the last convoy out.

Oddly enough, you never see an Obama, Hillary or Biden sticker equipped car keyed.

Violence, graffiti, vandalism, arson and assault are all the tactics of the infantile leftists.

I am proud to say that many of my classmates from Cranston have matured into traditional conservatives. Of course we’re as old as dirt now. This little jerk, on the other hand, can go crawl back under his rock.

A Democrat Senator from a Democrat state will be rewarded for such conduct.. Bet on it.

He’ll be ejected from the legislature, or will resign. He will then be appointed to a cushy state job with a bigger paycheck.
I’m from RI. That’s how it works there.

Your comment reminds me of the last remaining manually-operated elevator in Massachusetts. It’s in the Statehouse and it’s operated by some politician’s barely functional nephew.

Cars now-a-days – how do you key another car with just a fob?

Change the sticker to past tense when Pres. Harris is in the Oval Office and what will Miller do?

Miller can get away with this behavior. Amazing that the car owner wasn’t arrested for passive violent speech….yet.

You guys have pretty audacious Democrats out there in RI.
Ours are way more passive-pro-ggressive.

Around here that’s a good way to get yourself curb stomped.

I would seek a new total paint job at about $5,000. Black is very hard to match!

These days, Americans have far more reason to be worried and concerned about the behavior of “Dumb-o-crat nuts” than that of so-called “gun nuts.”

This POS is a typically arrogant, lawless, vindictive and infantile Dumb-o-crat apparatchik. Lying with impunity and behaving like a malicious thug.

“Shouldn’t Miller be above this sort of thing?”

The only thing he is likely above is punishment. A deal will be worked, mark my words.

From this post: “It is not the first politically-charged altercation for Miller. In 2014, Miller was caught on video at the Rhode Island State House telling a Second Amendment supporter “go f—k yourself.”

From Das Wiki: “…a Democratic member of the Rhode Island Senate representing District 28 since January 2007.”

Yet, tHe PeOpLe keep re-electing this execrable ‘representative’, and the legislature has not expelled him.

Still and again: the problem is the voters.

Proving once again: Liberalism is a mental disorder.

Remember when Chicago lawyer Jay Grodner keyed a Marine’s car because he hated the military? It didn’t go well for him.

I do not live in RI but I would be after him to fix the damage and also to get him out of office. It seems this person has issues and cannot support all people no matter their thoughts.

Note that the original article is playing “Guess the Party”.

henrybowman | June 24, 2023 at 9:16 pm

Playing “guess the party” in Rhode Island is like playing “guess the race” in Taiwan.

The article makes the erroneous assumption that a person who thinks Biden sucks is a Trump supporter. I think one can safely say there are many who do not support Trump at this point who think that Biden sucks.

A lot of my liberal acquaintances make that mistake:
They assume that anyone who dislikes Biden is an unthinking Trump supporter.
They think that anyone who voted for Trump is some sort of Nazi or Klansman.
But then, they tend to think that anyone who votes conservative is a Nazi.

This is how Democrats react to dissent

Capitalist-Dad | June 26, 2023 at 9:08 am

This Democrat sleaze has a 2 year old mentality—so just a notch above the brain dead status of Prez Moron and PA Senator Thug Boy Dolt.

2smartforlibs | June 26, 2023 at 11:47 am

Guess those BS love Trump hate stickers were just peachy with this detritus, The left can’t stand their rules being used against them.

BierceAmbrose | June 26, 2023 at 10:12 pm

Wrongthink gets punished; everyone (well, everyone righteous, anyway) is deputized to enact summary judgement on this, the only universal, unforgivable crime.

What, you didn’t get that, yet? You might want to interviews some of The Supremes.
