Baffling or Baffled? Joe Biden Blurts Out ‘God Save the Queen’ After Gun Control Speech

Joe Biden is pretty much a confused mess on any given day of the week, but on Friday he kicked it up a notch during a gun control speech he gave at the National Safer Communities Summit, which was held at the University of Hartford in Connecticut.

As Biden wrapped up the event, he looked at the crowd and said “All right? God save the Queen, man,” which didn’t make sense for a couple of reasons, with the first one being that Queen Elizabeth died last September and the second one being that Joe Biden is not the U.K.’s Prime Minister.

Watch the clip below, and take note of Biden’s confusion before he’s directed on which way to go:

Biden’s statement had some wondering if he even remembered that the Queen was no longer with us:

His remarks also left even the members of the mainstream press confused, as noted by Dallas Morning News White House bureau chief Todd Gillman, who was one of the pool reporters at the gathering:

As per the norm, Biden’s handlers on his comms teams had to spring into action in an attempt at damage control, but their explanation left quite a bit to be desired:

The comment puzzled some people because Queen Elizabeth II died last September, but White House Principal Deputy Press Secretary Olivia Alair Dalton said Biden’s remark was directed at someone in the audience. Dalton said Biden was unable to do a full rope line, where he usually interacts with audience members in close spaces, because he needed to leave as a storm approached. After the summit, Biden flew to Westchester County Airport to attend a $25,000-a-plate fundraiser at the Greenwich home of hedge fund founder Stephen F. Mandel.

“He couldn’t do the full rope line due to weather, and was commenting to someone in the crowd,” Dalton wrote in an email.

Because the White House’s official explainer didn’t quite cut it, political observers were left speculating as to what he meant and why he said it:

Some even tried to provide helpful translations:

At the same event, Biden also told an audience member “Don’t make me a dog-faced lyin’ pony soldier!” which is a comment he’s been known to make before while attributing it to a John Wayne movie, though there is no record of a John Wayne movie with that line in it:

So my question at this point is that if Joe Biden wanted to tell us in no uncertain terms that he is unfit for another four years in the Oval Office, what exactly would he do differently?

God help us all.

This crap has been happening since this bozo took office. The media has been covering his ass and he is only getting worse.

The wolfs are at the gate and the gate keepers are asleep.

Maybe Fetterman can translate for us. Then again……

Apparently that was just the capstone to a bizarre speech full of nonsensical statements about guns. Pistol braces which, when attached, change the caliber of bullet fired. Mobile trucks selling AR-15s at the curbside like ice cream trucks, but for guns. Crazy stuff all through, but most journalists are too ignorant about guns to even know what to fact-check.

Hilarious. Grandpa Dementia utters crazy, nonsensical phrases and words, and “journalists” pretend its encrypted and then work to decode it. It’s just like Bletchley Park hut 10 signals analysis. Genius-level analysis.

GOD SAVE US ALL. LOL.

With the administration’s focus on “woke” and LGBTQ issues, the most important after Climate Change, perhaps the President was thinking back to a recent LGBTQ event?

It’s embarrassing and potentially very dangerous. What if he babbles a threat or worse orders an unwarranted pre-emptive military attack. Which of the fools and lackeys he’s surrounded himself will have the guts to countermand a direct order from POTUS?

He said, actually, “ God save the Queens”

There, I fixed it for you

Ah, it’s a “Pride Month” thing? Kudos to you, for being the only one to come up with an excuse that is even remotely plausible.

OFF TOPIC (SORRY!) – Vision limited my reading until recently. What’s become of Milhouse? I miss reading his posts.

In the president’s defense, a lot of people are unaware that Aretha Franklin is dead.

Baffling or Baffled?

It is not baffling and he is not baffled. Biden is suffering from advanced Alzheimer’s disease and he acting exactly as one would expect someone in his condition to act.

Before 2020’s election, I too concluded that Biden had some form of dementia.

However, at this point I believe he’s just trolling.

The thing about dementia is that it is progressive. And overall he really had not declined.

I realize that this opinion probably not shared by many. That’s fine.

Biden has functioned quite alertly and “on point” under many circumstances. Most recently, when questioned about the evidence of his taking bribes, he had responded very appropriately … for a practiced, experienced dissembled.

Also, they keep trotting him out in front of the public. He says whatever. And then he throws in a bizarre non sequitor and/or he does the “Where am I “ gesture thing.

I think he’s trolling the press and the public.

It probably began when he uttered some stupid remark. Or he misread the teleprompter. A few years ago.

And now his handlers have just encouraged him to keep up the act.

Others who have trolled effectively using this technique include General and then President Eisenhower. Also Philadelphia crime boss Gigante , who used to “wander disheveled” in hopes of avoiding prison.

Biden has onset Dementia which has days that are with ups and downs. The facts and not opinion is there are currently several medications now being used to delay the progressive degeneration in the brain, though it cannot reverse it. The drugs of Donepezil (Aricept*), Leqembi*, Rivastigmine (Exelon*) Biogen* and Galantamine (Reminyl*) All have their own side effects, which may explain a period of ups and downs with changing of medications which still presents the questioning of Biden’s judgement. As of now the number of people who may benefit from these drugs are not being used extensively due to out of pocket cost. Only two drugs Leqembi* costing at an annual $26,500 and Biogen at $28,00 are out of pocket cost where as the others price out at $56,000 annually. Like Ron Reagan who also had Dementia his last year in office he chose to step down in 1989. Four years later in 1994 his wife Nancy made it public that he had moved on to having Alzheimer’s. There was no coverup though to health problems inhis last year and half as he had further surgery in early 1987 from his attempted murder which actually preceded his early onset Dementia. He was still writing his own speeches and carrying a full work load day with assistance from his wife Nancy and Staff.
If Biden (#46) and his staff had any moral center they would take a chapter out of one the most respected and loved Presidents ranking #9 and do justice for Americans and quietly leave town to his version of “the Ranch”. * Brand Names

Old Joe has an excellent chance of being re-elected.

C’mon man . . . he left out one word . . . and really meant to say “DRAG” Queen.

Biden can’t walk, can’t talk, can’t think, can’t remember, can’t climb stairs, can’t complete a sentence, can’t ride a bike, cant answer non-scripted questions from reporters, and certainly is not any making decisions. But other than that, he’s just fine.

Uhm, maybe the queen was “top of mind” for him since as the passage of time passes since her passing she has passed like the time has passed.

Sadly admit I didn’t think Sundowner would last this long and Harris would be in the Oval Office, but we still have a year and half and if he keeps going downhill it might happen yet.
And don’t get the idea anything or decision would be different with Harris than with Sundowner.

This whole idea of having to have an interpreter or decoder ring to understand what a particular politician says or writes is Cray Cray. Politicians have a whole staff of speech writers and communication specialists to help craft every sentence. If they fail to use them, ignore them or speak off the cuff and their statement sounds ludicrous or offensive that’s on them.

Anyone running for or holding public office who refuses to be accountable for the plain meaning of whatever statement they make is avoiding accountability. As Rush Limbaugh told us many times, ‘words have meanings’. When someone can’t or won’t communicate clearly without the need for a ‘Whisperer’ to bat cleanup or to tell us not to take what the person said literally then IMO, it’s a problem.

Maybe he’s a Sex Pistols fan.

Biden had two brain surgeries for aneurysms in 1988, one of which had burst. Many people die from this, including a brother-in-law at age 35. He almost certainly was left with some deficit – perhaps his misspeaking for decades. We just do not have enough info to know whether what he has now is related, with unknown progression, or something else.

I see a pattern here:

“Where’s Jackie?”

“God save the Queen, man.”

Perhaps Joe is anticipating his transition to the afterlife?

Regarding his attribution of “Dog-faced lying’ pony soldier” to a John Wayne movie, I suspect Joe “sees” a lot of things the rest of us don’t. A delusion about a nonexistent movie isn’t terribly serious; a delusion about a nonexistent attack of the US by Russia is.

Interested in finding out how many can name the President (“X”) where a Major Newspaper Posted this Article:
Devising Alternatives:

–Meanwhile, his aides have been devising alternative means for the President to communicate with the public, such as one-on-one interviews with favored commentators and news organizations, and are considering experimenting with press conferences in which live television coverage would be barred. “X’s” withdrawal from the live, televised forums reflects a common view in the White House that the fewer times he handles such free-form questioning from the press, the better off he will be. His past press conferences have been marred by repeated mistakes and contradictions that have embarrassed him and have created confusion on crucial policy issues. “The fact is he won’t hold another formal press conference as long as he can get by without holding one,” said a former “X’s” aide who retains close ties to the White House. “He doesn’t like to do them, and he knows it’s generally recognized that he hasn’t performed well when he has done them.” Though shunning this format may have political benefits for “X’s”, some public policy experts are concerned that the strategy is depriving people of a vital method for obtaining information on key issues and for seeing how the President performs under pressure.
“The presidential news conference is a critically important means of communication between the President and the American people,” “And yet it seems to be in a state of acute disrepair. . . . There is no easy fix in sight.” said a member close to the White House staff. “X’s” chief press spokesman, denies that “X’s” has entirely abandoned the televised press conference, and said it is “possible” the President will hold one this month. But such forums “aren’t the be-all, end-all way” for the President to communicate, he insisted when a reporter pointed out that “X’s” has held fewer White House press conferences than any other modern President.

For those who read this and wonder who ran this hit piece it was the Democratic water carrier The Los Angeles Times on Pres. Reagan in early 1988 and leading up to the 1989 election of G.H.W. Bush.
Obviously they have short memories for having critiqued Reagan’s last year in office but find Biden’s 3 years being fully functionable and cognizant to serve a 4th year and capable of doing a 2nd term until he is 86.

I’m thinking the Queen is Jill/Kamela/Susan Rice/Lisa Monaco/Ashley Biden….

Or did he mean to say “God Save the Queer?”

Biden does not, in fact, behave like a dementia patient.

He behaves like a person who is attempting to pull off a ruse.

Why? Because it is an effective method of distracting the press and the public.

It’s really not complicated.

Nor is it original (remember Mueller’s congressional testimony?)

And it’s got nothing to do with chess, except as chess and war and politics share similarities.
