Rep. George Santos in Custody, Faces Federal Charges Including Theft of Public Funds

A federal grand jury in Central Islip, NY, indicted Rep. George Santos (R-NY) on 13 federal charges:

Seven counts of wire fraud
Three counts of money laundering
One count of theft of public funds
Two counts of making materially false statements to the House of Representatives

Huh. A corrupt politician. This is something new. Hashtag sarcasm!

Santos is in custody. U.S. Magistrate Judge Arlene R. Linsay will arraign him this afternoon in Central Islip.

I wonder when the news will break about Hunter Biden.
