Tucker On Twitter: “There is hope, see you soon”

“Where can you still find Americans saying true things? There aren’t many places left, but there are some, and that’s enough.”

This was posted at 8:01 p.m. right when his old time slot started.

Good evening. It’s Tucker Carlson. One of the first things you realize when you step outside the noise for a few days is how many genuinely nice people there are in this country. Kind and decent people, people who really care about what’s true, and a bunch of hilarious people. Also, a lot of those, it’s gotta be the majority of the population even now, so that’s heartening.

The other thing you notice when you take a little time off is how unbelievably stupid most of the debates you see on television are, they’re completely irrelevant. They mean nothing. In five years, we won’t even remember that we had them. Trust me, as someone who’s participated. And yet the same time, and this is the amazing thing, the undeniably big topics, the ones that will define our future, get virtually no discussion at all: war, civil liberties, emerging science, demographic change, corporate power, natural resources.

When was the last time you heard a legitimate debate about any of those issues? It’s been a long time. Debates like that are not permitted in American media. Both political parties and their donors have reached consensus on what benefits them, and they actively collude to shut down any conversation about it. Suddenly, the United States looks very much like a one party state. That’s a depressing realization, but it’s not permanent.

Our current orthodoxies won’t last. They’re brain dead. Nobody actually believes them. Hardly anyone’s life is improved by them. This moment is too inherently ridiculous to continue, and so it won’t. The people in charge know this. That’s why they’re hysterical and aggressive. They’re afraid. They’ve given up persuasion. They’re resorting to force, but it won’t work.

When honest people say what’s true, calmly and without embarrassment, they become powerful. At the same time, the liars who’ve been trying to silence them shrink and they become weaker. That’s the iron law of the universe.

True things prevail. Where can you still find Americans saying true things? There aren’t many places left, but there are some, and that’s enough. As long as you can hear the words, there is hope. See you soon.

As of this writing it has over 6 million views. More than his old nightime show.

Bares repeating

He will out draw Joe Rogan

Rogan is of a certain taste, hip, young following despite being what late 40’s , early 50’s? Supported Bernie, hip thing you know, socialism for thee, not for me

He was a fighter , is a comic, has a club he opened this year in “hip” Austin , the city of 5-10,000 homeless

Interviews interesting people all the while toting on MJ and cigars

He’s a decent interviewer, not not in TC league of intellect in my opinion, definitely better than someone like Hannity

TC will have his own podcast and barring the government shutting everything down, which I wouldnt put past them, he will have even a larger, more diverse audience

He will be a billionaire when it’s all done and said..

The fact that Rogan once supported comrade Sanders has been an irredeemable strike against him, in my book. Supporting that parasitic, career apparatchik is indefensible for any person over age thirty. It’s perplexing to me, because there are times where Rogan shows intelligence and an iconoclastic willingness to question Dumb-o-crat narratives.

Oh, I dunno. The curve occurs quite often, but the smarter the celeb is, the steeper it is.
Only something like three years ago, Russell Brand was spouting some of the most naive progressive bullshit imaginable on late nite interview shows. Now look at him.
Claire Wolfe is another one. Not as steep, mind you, but hardened of experience.
Don’t let your paranoia mask the workings of real red pills.

15% of Sanders voters from the 2016 primaries voted for Trump.

MattMusson in reply to Eric R.. | April 27, 2023 at 6:02 am

They realized it’s not about Dems vs GOP. It’s about Ruling Class vs Working Class.

        oldvet50 in reply to Eric R.. | April 27, 2023 at 6:50 am

I think that’s because they realized that Democrats were not very democratic! Sanders won the primaries and should have been the candidate in 2016 but the un-democratic democrats came up with ‘super-delegates’ to overturn the majority and anoint Killary as their savior.

          PaceBene in reply to oldvet50. | April 29, 2023 at 9:13 am

Anointing Killary in 2016 as the candidate was a pay-off by Obama and the DNC off an old debt. She lost and will not go away. So she is ignored. Buffoon Biden has outlived his usefulness to the Marxist King, the Puppet Master Obama. “Shadow President” Susan Rice is leaving, for where? What is Obama’s next move? Does he still want Kamala Gobbledygook Harris as his presidential puppet? Maybe even the Marxist King himself can’t save (nor sell) Gobbledygook Harris. When does the Marxist Queen Michelle emerge as the dem’s candidate?

CommoChief in reply to Eric R.. | April 27, 2023 at 8:21 am

Yep. There’s a good deal of overlap policy wise between the populist left and the populist right. Mostly in the anti corporatist sphere but also in opposition to the surveillance state and forever wars among other things.

gonzotx in reply to guyjones. | April 27, 2023 at 8:42 am

      Agreed

Apparently over 10,000,000 views and climbing

He’ll be fine. I read his net worth is over 30 million and faux news sounds like they owe him at least 20 million.
With some of that money I could see him starting a cable news show.

Used to be many years ago that to have a hunting show you had to pay the channel $100,000 to get on plus a certain percentage of the ad revenue. I’m sure it’s gone up but you get the gist. Well within his reach.

    henrybowman in reply to 4fun. | April 26, 2023 at 11:49 pm

I’m hoping his “delayed payment” from Fox doesn’t come attached to a noncompete.

Eric R. in reply to henrybowman. | April 27, 2023 at 5:43 am

With his net worth, I think he is better off breaking the contract and telling FNC to keep the money and start competing right now.

Sultan in reply to Eric R.. | April 27, 2023 at 9:10 am

“Breaking” a contract is not always easy. I suspect he would subject himself to an injunction if he did. Better for him to try and buy it out, but even that might not succeed if Rupert is as vindictive as I heard he is.

Rupert Smedley Hepplewhite in reply to 4fun. | April 27, 2023 at 7:08 am

Tucker made $20M/year and has three years remaining on his contract. Yeah, he’ll be okay.

    M Poppins in reply to 4fun. | April 28, 2023 at 3:56 pm

Fox isn’t going to pay him. They claim that he was fired “for cause”. He’s contractually unable to accept other work. This was done to silence him before the election.

That young man has moxie!!

This is an optimistic thread. I am a cynical pessimist by nature. Keep in mind that those who attacked/are attacking Tucker Carlson are now very secure in being outside the jurisdiction of the law, as are all who are powerful today. I am mainly hoping for his safety, and if that is not possible, it is indicative that we are in a very different world where neither the law or the Constitution hold.

Subotai Bahadur

I share your pessimism. The only way the right gets justice and its own culture back is by creating its own country.

    Secession is the only answer.

A couple of observations: Tucker will not go to work at CNN or for Blaze TV. He will go independent and onto the digital space.

I expect him to create nightly videos at 8:00 pm M-F on Twitter and perhaps get involved with Musk on an AI startup in exchange for Twitter hosting his podcast.

$8 x 6,000,000 views five nights a week equals serious money for Elon and TC

Elon + Tucker + Twitter + Starlink (to end run the censors) – sign me up.

CommoChief in reply to VaGentleman. | April 27, 2023 at 8:29 am

With lots of in-depth reporting and analysis from Glen Greenwald + James O’ Keefe + Alex Berenson +Matt Taibbi + Bari Weiss and the rest of the Twitter files gang with frequent collaboration among other prominent podcasts Rogan/R Brand and so on to push the reporting to a wider audience.

I am not optimistic. I think ISPs will be forced by “The Party” to block his site. And soon, most other non-leftist ones.

Hmmm, first James O’Keefe and now Tucker Carlson.

Makes you wonder…

Steven Brizel | April 27, 2023 at 8:36 am

Tucker speaks for many if not all conservatives who view American Marxism and the woke perspective as a cancer metastatizing throughout American institutions

Steven Brizel | April 27, 2023 at 8:43 am

Tucker will be back with an even bigger audience -it is a matter of where , and when

At this moment, there is no official reason. Only speculation.
However, most reports insist that it has to do with Carlson’s criticism of Dominion Voting Systems during the 2020 election.
In other words…
You speak out against Biden, and you’re blacklisted.
And… are we surprised?
This happens every single day.
No one is safe – not even rich, powerful, and well-connected celebrities.
That’s why I believe…
If you’ve ever voted Republican…
If you’ve ever criticized inflation or the current administration on social media…
If you’ve ever condemned rioting in cities…
If you have spoken out against BLM or ANTIFA or the grooming of your children by a homosexual, depraved elite.
Then you are at risk.
Imagine losing your job, simply because you don’t agree with the party in charge?
Having your retirement expropriated?
Being jailed on some false charge?
Being harassed, assaulted, robbed, or murdered by one of the millions of criminals released and imported ito our neighborhoods.
Having your store or business looted by mobs of rioting thugs who will not be arrested or prosecuted
Being charged with some horrendous crime if you attempt to defend yourself for your family
Having your police being intimidated, not allowed to protect you, your family or your property
Having to wade through hordes of homeless drug addicts and mentally disturbed camped on your streets and neighborhoods
Having to somehow survive new diseases deliberately released by you rown government
Being discriminated against because you are a person of faith
Being discriminated against because you have “white privilege.”
That, my friends, is the reality of living in America in 2023.
And the worst of all is that these woke, Maoist thugs are moving us towards nuclear war.
Now is the time to find a new home where we can thrive and prepare a response for when they finally fail. Let’s be the remnant that returns and restores the Republic, an
If you agree, then it’s time to visit nukerefuge.com and begin your journey to safety.. Download their Nuclear War Survival Manual.
Be part of the remnant that will return to once again light the shining light on the hill that our forefathers lit 250 years ago. And, never forget the old truism, “What foes not destroy you makes you stronger.”.

There are two ways future historians can view America under the leftist /woke Biden Administration: as a warning of how close we came to totalitarianism and economic policies that could have bankrupted the country; or as a quasi comical interlude in our normally serious political discourse.
Either way, Biden and his handlers will not be treated kindly when viewed through the dispassionate lense of time.
This hopefully brief interlude of eco insanity, cancel culture and identity politics must eventually end, because it represents concepts that are fundamentally alien to American culture.
One lesson we must learn is that during crises, those in power will do whatever it takes to remain so. We saw it under Roosevelt during the Depression and we saw it under the Biden puppeteers through COVID.
Let us put what we have learned into practice in the 2024 elections.

I will posit yet another view of the current turmoil. If the Leftists win this mess and therefore take over the Western World (North America and Europe), they will write the history books and declare this the greatest victory for “democracy” that ever occurred. It will be George Orwell’s “1984” for a millennium.

I would like to see Tucker rent to own Rush’s EIB network studio in Palm Beach.

If he ever teamed up with Dennis Miller…..yikes!

71 MILLION views as of now.

Broadcasters would kill for all these sets of eyes and ears.

The Murdocks have created a monster. If 71 million people are willing to watch him on Twitter, they will likely follow him ANYWHERE.

I call these viewers an army…. Nah, wrong word. A better word for those 71 million views is… an ELECTORATE.

Fox is holding Tucker hostage until after the election.

‘Multiple other sources told Breitbart News this detail about Carlson’s contract. “He’s still not fired, you know that right?” another Fox News source said about Carlson. “His contract is still ongoing.”’
