Tucker did a really great job at Fox. He has come a long, long way from his days on Crossfire at CNN.

I would bet that Tucker is going to head over to OAN, which would be a good fit. OAN is a great network.

    OAN can’t afford Tucker.

FreeBop in reply to SophieA. | April 25, 2023 at 9:51 am

It’s true that OAN may not be able to afford a big salary. Tucker was reportedly making $20M a year at Fox and also got a big payout. Yet, Tucker could afford a smaller salary in exchange for getting stock/equity in OAN for helping it grow, which could be even more lucrative. Tucker could also to Rumble, or do a big Spotify deal (like Joe Rogan).

PaceBene in reply to SophieA. | April 25, 2023 at 12:22 pm

Tucker Carlson could buy OAN but not sure Tucker is interested in owning a network. What is James O’Keefe up to since departing PROJECT VERITAS?

It may be a good network but hardly anyone watches it. After being the biggest audience cable news show in the history of television, I suspect he’s going to go where he can get a very large audience,

Alex Berenson put out a substack today on this topic, and he made a couple of predictions / observations:

1) Tucker could land a massive streaming deal because he’s in the same league as Joe Rogan in terms of having the clout to bring his audience with him wherever he goes. Berenson speculated he might be the first to land a billion dollar streaming contract.

2) He observed that it would be funny as h3ll if Tucker went back to CNN… the prog heads would just explode all over the place. Right now they think they’re celebrating the taking of his scalp, but he’s not going away for good, he’s just going away from Fox News.

gonzotx in reply to Paul. | April 24, 2023 at 10:41 pm

That was my first thought but even Spotify is not making any money so o don’t know how long they can afford to pay Rogan much less TX

Tucker Unleashed from Faux News will be interesting to follow.

thad_the_man | April 24, 2023 at 7:57 pm

I just hope he took the Jan 6 tapes with him.

My only concern is whether he actually knowing lied about the election results in the last Trump election. Hopefully we will find out the truth.

    Q in reply to JR. | April 24, 2023 at 8:47 pm

Don’t keep us in suspense . . . what, exactly, was his knowing lie about the election?

I have seen nothing to date to suggest to me that Dominion wasn’t involved
None of my like minded friends believe this was anything other than America being overthrown by a cabal

There’s video of votes being switched EXACTLY on live TV shortly before 4 am (far as I know never happened before

Facebook adds a ‘truth badge’ if you post the vedie

The video includes raw footage from a netwrok feed of the tally
The video shows a couple watching the feed
The couple is surprised by the 192,000 vote minus trump plus biden
The couple posits no possible explanation for the switch

Facebook flags it as ‘false’ (a good indicator it’s true
In their denouncement, facebook posits “No, Dominion wasn’t caught redhanded…’

      So William Jacobson

If I’m barking up the wrong tree (poor analogy, cat is the money-pet) how’s about some links to the filings in the suit, particularly the discovery or lack thereof

If there’s to be a civil war, I want to know why.

You mean the lie that creepy ‘ol brain-dead Joe didn’t win the 2020 election fair and square? That lie?

CommoChief in reply to maxmillion. | April 25, 2023 at 11:43 am

Not many dispute either of those related points. Biden was inaugurated so that’s a win, though there were all sorts of shenanigans in 2020 that had zero to do with Dominion.

Frankly, chasing this Dominion thing is distracting from the other shenanigans which can be shown or at least the vulnerabilities can be shown which could facilitate those shenanigans occurring.

Voter registration roll clean up, ballet security and clear, simple, unwavering election security measures are much more profitable targets than chasing Dominion.

Tucker earned himself a dedicated audience that will follow him wherever he goes, next, in whatever venture and format.

Fox News brass have made a politically motivated decision that may earn the network some fleeting plaudits from the Deep State and the Swamp Dumb-o-crats on the D.C. cocktail circuit, but, that will prove strategically foolish and financially costly, over the long run.

Dumped cable tv many years ago. You can find most anything online if you try a bit.

      guyjones in reply to 4fun. | April 24, 2023 at 9:32 pm

I’ve never had cable TV service, but, I respect Carlson’s reporting and consider him to be an important conservative media voice.

Carlson’s firing will certainly hasten the irrelevance of cable TV as a news and commentary source, at least where conservatives are concerned. All the best conservative commentary is online now — I’d agree with you on that score.

I can imagine him doing a segment as you described. However, he did not quit.

No I don’t think so. I thought that no one could replace Bill O’Reilly. But I never followed him after he left Fox.

Classy as always, Professor. Tucker became one of the good ones.

Breitbart is still sorely missed, but Tucker will land somewhere and continue to lead in the right direction – mostly – I think.

I hope he has a worthy successor to his infotainment time slot. I laughed myself silly when I watched the movie “Network”ages ago. It has come to pass.

Flak is greatest over the target.

I quit watching Fox after the Chris Wallace/Donald Trump debate. I have watched Carlson clips frequently.
My guess is that he shows up on some streaming platform. I will subscribe.
FNC used to be the only TV I watched. Cancelled cable a couple years ago.

Here.. this is next.. I read that there were so many people trying to sign up that the server crashed.

Sending money directly to Tucker Carlson instead of Fox is like donating directly to a MAGA candidate instead of through RINO Rona Romney. The next chapter in the future of freedom will be decided by independents, like Tucker, O’Keefe, Rogan, Greenwald, and Musk… and rightly so.

It’s a terrible loss no
Matter how you look at it,for truth, Justice and the American way

I listed conservatives we have lost, big names like Scalia, Rush, Steyn ( has an online show, blog) but was a real factor on Rush, filled in and on Tucker, went to GBN and left when they tried to make him personally responsible financially for any government fines, mostly Covid pharmaceutical reporting, then Had 2 heart attacks, lucky to be alive
Now Tucker but also Brietbart, to me Brietbart was brilliant, he inspired me , I wanted to be a foot soldier, because he was right, we are at WAR

And also let’s not forget Project Veritas

What they have done to President Trump, who was always right

They are coming for all of us, he was just in the way

The USA now has its own more than capable Secret Police. Therefore, the wise person doesn’t talk about it at all.
When things hit the fan, they’re going to have their hands busy counteracting a whole lot of “leaderless resistance.” Think Carl Drega, but in every county.
Gone will be the luxury of having seven FBI guys to persuade three inbred hillbillies to kidnap a Harkonnen governor, or two Muslim radicals to shoot the audience at a “Draw Muhammad” exhibit.
Solo acts can’t be infiltrated. They can be predicted, but not by jackboots grown so lazy cultivating their own staged atrocities that they can’t even be bothered to work 100% credible tips on named incipient school mass killers and supermarket mass killers.

ThePrimordialOrderedPair in reply to henrybowman. | April 25, 2023 at 2:20 am

So maybe what we should do is force the powers that be to return the election process to something we can trust … in person voting, on paper ballets, no ballet harvesting, ID required, counted by hand election night, no early or late voting, absentee ballots only for those who physically can’t get to a voting booth.

Unfortunately, that just is not going to happen. Once they got those fraudulent rules in place they will not go away. The courts have been no help, at all, in protecting the integrity of elections. Just the opposite. And AMy Phoney Barrett’s first act as SCOTUS justice to sit out the PA case, which was open and shut … but her recusal allowed the illegal cheating in PA to run unabated – which then continued in 2022 to get us a commie vegetable in the Senate.

Of course, in PA the idiotic GOP legislature was the one the originally passed the completely insane mail-in ballots in Sep 2019 – before the WUhan virus had anything to do with anything, and after that the governor and PA courts took that and ran with it to make sure that no fair elections could ever be held.

It wouldn’t shock me to see him end up on Newsmax.

No matter how free a CATV personality may believe he or she is, when you’re that person and are attached to a main stream media corporation, there are subtle yet powerful ways they will constrain and limit you.

What people distrust the most other than politicians are media corporations, but what they crave most are people with authentic voices; that only comes only with editorial independence.

And that’s why we liked TC.

Maybe Fox can pre-call Arizona for Biden in 2024 today?

Asking legal heads here if Tucker fired.., and apparently was… how likely is it he had or they made him sign a DNC? If they did and enforceable then Tucker will certainly be radio silent till after the election. Biden declares candidacy the day Tucker not around to give his biting observations of the United States being led by a dementia addled CCP owned grifting stooge..,not a coincidence I say

In addition, 15 U.S. soldiers were wounded in Kabul, Afghanistan on August 26, 2021, during the Biden administration’s humanitarian catastrophe that he created in his Afghanistan abandonment. The attack was claimed by the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant-Khorasan Province, aka ISIS-K.”

As the fallen US soldiers from Kabul were brought out of the transport plane, the US President responsible for the Kabul horror checked his watch; he checked his watch several times. The mainstream propaganda ministry (who covered for Biden for his cruelty and apparent indifference) should be ceaselessly ridiculed and aggressively shunned.

The ridiculous $787.5 Million payment by Fox to Dominion Voting is a misdirection sop.

Meanwhile , actual proof that huge swaths of U.S. voters’ data was indeed kept on Chinese servers was not so coincidentally revealed recently. And there is serious speculation that Dominion Voting and SMARTMATIC and the Marxists were neck deep in it.

Konnech, Inc. dropped its lawsuit against True the Vote on April 19, 2023. The voluntary dismissal came a day after Catherine Engelbrecht and Gregg Phillips launched the Open.Ink website, which houses important evidence related to the case.

All charges, including defamation and hacking claims, have been dropped, vindicating Engelbrecht and Phillips, who were both imprisoned in the fall for refusing to reveal their sources related to the Konnech lawsuit.

True the Vote is weighing suing Konnech.

“…. all of the voter rolls were in China, all of them in places like Pennsylvania. It wasn’t just Allegheny County. Allegheny County had connected Konnech to the state’s voter rolls and so those were in China. And to make matters worse, there were several other high-profile companies, let’s say, that were connected directly to the Konnech database.”
Phillips and Engelbrecht will be using Open.Ink to get important documents on Konnech and other important national security issues out to the American people. The site is a robust “open intelligence site for citizen researchers.” The website has many documents related to Konnech’s election software and its involvement with the Chinese Communist Party and American elections.”

Dear Temple University Board of Trustees:

As a 1974 alumnus, who in our Centennial Year of 1984, extended to Temple the love, generosity, trust and good will I will forever hold for my first and basic alma mater, I respectfully wish to recognize a most serious matter (hopefully one also recognized by numerous and sufficient other rational, sensible, and so deeply concerned fellow alums and friends of the University), one that, if addressed as forthrightly and realistically as I believe I propose herein, I think far better serves to maintain our University Founder’s rich and unfailing faith in a perseverance-fostering, forever optimistic and humanitarian, rich social purpose and vision — no better articulated than in his famed and celebrated Acres of Diamonds lecture — than any institutionally ossified bias and a consequent failure to see real and true harm all around us and, I honestly fear, much, much worse in the offing.

Thus, I respectfully propose that the Board see it fitting to either palpably and effectively rebuke or, possibly seeing that measure fail after a sensible grace period, revoke for cause the PhD degree Temple conferred on Ibram X Kendi, as the Board’s relevant bylaws, rules, and regulations might apply and, at your carefully considered discretion, may direct.

The aim of an American scholar today, in my view and no matter the field, is to increase knowledge toward the once-nationally far more embraced, but steadily, systematically diminishing, shared goals of a fair, legally equal and just, always increasingly free and civil society. Having earned and thus bearing Temple’s highest academic title, Dr Kendi has, by his promotions, misteachings, and professionally deleterious actions related to his wretched and racist doctrine of an Orwellian inspired, so-called “Anti-racism,” disgracefully, divisively and, in the absence of any good faith worthy of its effects toward his students, peers and associates in academe, and the wider, national audience.

He thus most harmfully betrays the trust I believe the Board bestowed on him by virtue of attaining his Temple doctorate, viz, of researching his scholarly field in a manner that presupposes a constructive and workable beneficence in his related teaching and acting toward anyone American in particular, and anything American in general. This would seem, at least on its face, untenable and, as Dr Kendi’s prescription for chaos plays out daily in the steady decline and disintegration of our nation’s social and political fabric, most regrettable at least, and intolerable at worst.

No individual has so deliberately mistaught and wrongly urged the disregard, disrespect, and wholesale dismissal of the teachings and actions of our nation’s greatest spiritual and social leader, the Reverend Dr Martin Luther King, Jr, as much as has Ibram X Kendi — and ignominiously done so by such profound, ill-willed neglect of myriad considerable, important, and relevant truths, a foolish, but intentionally destructive cynicism, and a patently ugly, wholly reckless, irresponsible and pernicious bigotry.

Thus does our present maldoctor or misteacher under discussion continue to serve and strengthen the enemies of liberty and equality before the law, vital to a vibrant and robust brother- and sisterhood of American citizens and a free and justice-loving, prosperous, civil society and nation.

In sum, Honorable Members of the Board, I feel it likely that I here make only little to no mistake in both observing and saying that my fellow alumnus, Dr Ibram X Kendi, maliciously brings forth, and with little obvious charity in his heart, a willful and reckless misdirection of his trained and strong, but questionable intellectual aim and commensurately needed and adapted skills in order to concentrate and marshal them all toward nothing less or other than the complete overthrow of the power, grace, and efficacy of our nation’s many longstanding, demonstrably democratic by nature, republican by design and function, beneficial institutions — so inspiringly espoused by both the spoken and written words, no less the great, charity-exemplifying, edifying and lasting deeds of Temple’s Founder, the Reverend Dr Russell H Conwell; those in existence to prevent or thwart the current near-demise and ultimately desired burial of our increasingly deteriorating fellowship and mutual enhancement between and among America’s many thriving and competing races in its multi-post-bellum era, so hearteningly and constructively reimagined and prophesied by Dr M L King, Jr; and, to be completely sure about the gravitas required to see the present, unprecedented, near-imminently finished cultural and political Marxism of Dr Kendi and his truly anti-spiritual comrades’ long march toward an effective insurrection and a paraphilia-steeped and otherwise perverse revolution, by any means necessary.

Now to conclude, Dr Ibram X Kendi evidently wills this all, the historical record makes clear, against our revered rights and ordered liberty-preserving, national Constitution — the incomparably self-improving gift, upon the earlier Declaration, of Western Civilization’s inimitable and esteemed Founders of our nation.

Notwithstanding my humble and far less significant opinion than your individual and collective own, Board Members, as I understand Temple’s founding and its long, remarkable, successful and distinguished accomplishments, the University was neither conceived nor preserved to this day, greater than ever, to see — through the time-projected vision of the Rev Dr R H Conwell, the Rev Dr M L King, or our most revered president, Abraham Lincoln, to whom so much gratitude is owed — the planned and devised, deceptively instrumentalized, most tragic end to the United States of America, the nation we’ve always loved, the nation that is to us all, indeed, our nourishing mother or alma mater in-common.

As an afterword, thank you, distinguished Board Members, for your time and interest in considering my effort here to help preserve, in one small, measured, but highly important and symbolic way, our great nation, for which hundreds of thousands of fighting, patriotic souls, the fearless and the fearful alike, have, in battles and wars past, gave their “last, true measure of devotion” so that we may live this day as social brothers and sisters, free and equal before the demands of justice and the rule of law, to continue to do what’s necessary and right to preserve a government “of the people, by the people, and for the people,” . . . so that it “shall not perish from the earth.”
