Canada: Violent Trans Activists Assault Peaceful Protester While Cops Stand By, Smirking
“When pressed to respond, police officers suggested that he might have cut his own nose — or that he had incited the trans activists to violence by showing up with a sign that they did not like.”
Chris Elston, a Canadian man who goes by “Billboard Chris,” was physically assaulted by crazed transgender activists while police stood around seemingly doing nothing but smirking as a crime was committed in their presence. The police reportedly went so far as to tell Chris that he brought the violent attack on himself.

Billboard Chris is on a quiet mission.
A father of two girls in Canada, he is worried about the effects that gender ideology is having on both his children and his society. In response he has gone on a simple, quiet, and to the trans community very threatening mission: he visits cities in North America and walks around wearing a sandwich board that simply reads: “children cannot consent to puberty blockers.”
He doesn’t shout. He doesn’t challenge trans activists to arguments. He simply walks around with his sandwich board. He occasionally gets media interviews and he is all over social media, but he doesn’t confront anybody.
Any deviation from, doubt about, or even basic questioning of the trans agenda is not permitted, so of course, radical trans activists violently assaulted the peaceful man whose only goal is to stop the chemical, physical, and sexual mutilation of healthy children.

After my first assault, which occurred within seconds of my arrival, I called 911 for police.
This officer arrived quickly but stayed in her car, so I walked over.
She told me maybe I cut my own nose!

Canadian police officers appeared to simply watch — and one appeared to smile — as radical trans activists approached and then eventually assaulted a lone counter-protester wearing a sandwich board sign that read, “Children can’t consent to puberty blockers.”
Video of the incident was shared by Chris Elston (@BillboardChris), who said that he was assaulted twice at the protest, and that police did nothing. When pressed to respond, police officers suggested that he might have cut his own nose — or that he had incited the trans activists to violence by showing up with a sign that they did not like.
For its part, the Vancouver Police Department is reportedly investigating the incident.

It’s Canada! For sooo long we thought of the Anglosphere countries as the defender of the rights of man. What has the Commonwealth done? Yeah, a couple leaps too far to follow.
Trying to call back to Andy Ngo, who distributes stuff recorded on the spot, who’s presence gets the protesters looking for attention all wee-wee’d up, who gets assaulted on film amidst “protests”, and so on. Not his interviews of book. The first-hand, on the ground, full-record videos the peaceful protesters object to so much. When they’re not giving him a concussion, that is.
The videos already out there from this event look just like an Andy Ngo first person report from some Antifa thing. There’s also a Libs of TikTok flavor to these things — “How dare you publish unedited, what we said or did?”
It seems like many of these “protests” are less media-ops or propaganda events for the movement, and more revivals or rallies, reinforcing the already converted. (And to intimidate the non-converted. Not trying to raise an issue, let alone convince anybody an y more.)
You can’t have someone wearing a sign saying “Satan Be Alone” at your evangelical retreat — it sours the vibe. It’s the wrong kind of talking in tongues when someone starts reciting Latin backwards. Sammich sign-guy’s recording, and the spasms about it are a lot like what attaches to Andy Ngo.
We are what remains of a constitutional republic, under attack from within and surrounded by dictatorships to the north and south. Interesting times.

In my home berg, back during peak Antifa, we had a — one — kid, “citizen journalist”, walking around publishing only long-form videos of the events. His vids were way more illuminating than any of the clipped agenda-fodder.

I am not sure the Canadian LEO are committed to their statement about it being Ok to initiate violence against someone b/c the person who was attacked instigated the violence via a visual medium. What if someone decides to become violent by merely observing a uniformed LEO? Will these Cops remain so sanguine when that particular individual chooses to initiate violence in a place, manner and degree of their own choosing in that encounter? Yeah, I was there for that. Less than thirty feet away from that incident were over a dozen cops standing and watching the whole thing. When Maxime Bernier arrived, he had to be rushed into the venue surrounded by Proud Boys because the antifa crowd mobbed him while, again, the police stood by and did nothing.
The police in Canada are, and have been for decades, armed agents of the state. They exist to suppress opposition to the government.
Okay, so (donning my editor’s tiara), next time you are there, film it and give it to us to run! Or tweet it. Or get it out there some how. This kind of thing won’t stop until they are embarrassed, as we see in this story. After it went viral, the Vancouver PD suddenly cared (at least until the next news cycle).

After the record turnout of black voters in Georgia’s 2022 primary voting, some Dem hack said “Voter suppression isn’t about preventing people from voting”, providing proof positive that the Left isn’t interested in having intelligent conversations about anything.

I was disappointed at seeing this video. Yes, assault may have occurred. But I didn’t actually see it. What I did see was someone in supposed to root for, who was asked by police officer to see his video, whom he asked what she would do about it, who haven’t seen the video yet. I don’t know this guy. This is the first time I’ve ever heard about him. And he’s a smart ass to a cop, saying he wanted to film her smirking, rather than allowing her to see his video of an alleged crime.
