Patrick Lewis Wojahn resigned as the mayor of College Park, Maryland, before the cops arrested him on 56 child pornography charges. He has served as mayor since 2015.
The LGBT activist, who was also the first openly gay mayor of College Park, described Transportation Secretary as his mentor.
On February 17, The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children told authorities “that a social media account operating in the county possessed and distributed suspected child pornography.”
The account belongs to Wojahn. An investigation found that a person uploaded pictures and videos in January 2023.
Authorities searched Wojahn’s home. They found “multiple cell phones, a storage device, a tablet and a computer.”

Consenting adults should be able to engage in whatever kink they choose among themselves but minor children can’t consent so leave the children out of it.
This attitude is precisely why we are here at the precipice with these perverts sexualizing kids. Many of these same consenting adults believe that kids are able to consent too.
You seem to have an objection to free will in general being exercised by adults. If adult citizens aren’t allowed to decide for themselves which other consenting adults with whom to engage in whatever sexual experience they choose among themselves then who would you nominate to decide for them?
That is not what was said, only that some consenting adults with sick minds pretend that kids can consent similarly.
No Mr White knight that is incorrect. The clear statement was that ‘many of these same consenting adults believe kids are able to consent’. There are several implications being made;
1. that the ‘many’ (not some as you incorrectly used) being referred to are paedophiles.
2. that the universe the ‘many’ is drawn from are those outside exclusively heterosexual tastes
3. that because of 1 and 2 above that non heterosexual conduct is automatically supect
The only logical inference one can draw is that we should criminalize non heterosexual conduct thereby replacing the liberty of consenting adults with the judgement of others. Don’t overlook the fact that ultimately the State enforces its statutes with force by armed agents.
Instead how about we do what I originally suggested; let consenting adults make their own choices among themselves but since minor children can’t consent leave them out of the kink? Seems way less totalitarian.
While were at it now about we restore the death penalty for sexual assault of a minor by a non social peer adult? Meaning that the HS Senior doesn’t get the electric chair b/c their girl/boy friend is a Sophomore but we will fry the actual paedophiles.

Prediction:
1) Wojahn has 56 charges against him; 40 for possession of child porn and 16 for distribution/sales of child porn.
2) Maryland is not that big a state. It is not that far to the borders of other states or the District of Columbia. Crossing any of those borders with any of this turns it into a Federal crime. It is highly likely that some of the sales/distribution crossed one of those lines.
3) Therefore, expect the Federales to swoop in and take over the case completely and absolutely.
4) At which point, nothing further will ever be publicly heard about the case, about Wojahn’s political affiliations, his friendship with and the fact that he has openly declared Transportation Secretary Buttigieg as his mentor in the past.
5) The case will disappear for the political convenience of those currently in power, and I expect that without notice either charges will be dropped or that a plea bargain arrangement will come to pass that resembles a lottery win.
6) Neither the media that works for the Left, nor the GOPe will object in the slightest to #5 and if word somehow does come out the GOPe will probably express approval of such as a way to show their “tolerance”.
7) Speaking as a retired Peace Officer who has dealt with sex offenders against children . . . there are fewer offenses that are more likely to be repeated. But if Wojahn is a recidivist, efforts are likely to be made to keep it from either being charged or being made public to protect those who protected him before.

I know a number of homosexual men and women. NAMBLA has a very large constituency among the gay community and has been for a very long time. They certainly aren’t going away. Just because gays feel more comfortable being out in the open these days doesn’t mean they reveal everything.
I didn’t know NAMBLA was still a thing. I’m sure the majority of their members are not gay, though as that would be statistically improbable.
