NJ Councilman Russell Heller Murdered a Week After Councilwoman Eunice Dwumfour was Gunned Down

Authorities do not think the incidents are linked. It’s just so weird.

New Jersey Republican councilman Russell D. Heller was shot to death in his car a week after someone gunned down councilwoman Eunice Dwumfour in her car.

I do not know if the cases are related. Heller’s is a murder-suicide. From NJ.com:

Russell D. Heller, a councilman in Milford, a small borough in Hunterdon County, was fatally shot outside the PSE&G Somerset Central Division Headquarters in Franklin by a former co-worker on Wednesday morning, officials said.

Heller, 51, a senior distribution supervisor for the energy company, was pronounced dead on the scene of the Weston Canal Road headquarters, authorities said.

“The Milford Borough Council is deeply saddened by the loss and our hearts go out to his family,” Milford Mayor Henri Schepens said. “He was so full of life, it’s just unbelievable that he’s gone. Something like this has never happened in borough history. We are very shaken by this.”

Authorities identified Gary T. Curtis as the suspect. They found him “inside a car, dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.”

The authorities also do not think there is a connection between Heller and Dwumfour’s murder.

A week ago, someone gunned down Dwumfour in her car outside her home. Her family said the police haven’t told them anything about the investigation.

The Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office wants the court to issue an injunction against news organizations “to prevent the release of investigative records” concerning Dwumfour’s murder.

The office has released two statements “saying there would be no statements or press conferences about the killing.”

The FBI is involved with the investigation but, like local authorities, didn’t offer any information.

Note that the only similarity is that they’re both Republican members on their respective local councils. The two towns are at opposite sides of the state, more than 50 miles apart by the shortest route. Milford has a population of about 1,250, Sayerville of about 45,000. It’s not as if they were on the same council, or even as if they were in the same area.

    Milhouse,

I live in the People’s Democratic Socialist Republic of NJ. I can safely assure that while Hunterdon County leans R, Middlesex County is strongly D (primarily driven by the large Hispanic and Asian communities) and of course state government is slightly to the left of Che Guevara. I can assure you that you will not get an honest investigation into either murder if it implicates a Democrat/leftist.

Irrelevant. The point is that there is no reason to suppose the two murders are connected.

Connected how, Milhouse? They may not be connected because they are committed by the same person or the same group, but it could be by two people driven by the present climate of hate against Republicans, so in that sense they would be related. The point of my post is that the authorities in charge would cover up any such connection if it were to exist, so we will likely never know,

I have heard about that kind of arkanicide before….

    MK-ULTRA.

Every murder-suicide is actually a Clinton assassination. Even the ones that happened 300 years ago. /sarcasm

Not a logical argument. There were secret societies way back then as well; some postulate that the celebrated ones we “see” today are wholly-owned subsidiaries of organizations like the Illuminati, the Masons, the Templars, and others. After all, the Borgias were the Clintons of their own time, as Bertha, Margravine of Tuscany, was the Jeffrey Epstein of hers.

You aren’t required to believe all these theories, but you need to be aware of them.

Oh, please. May as well blame the Scorpions.

The office has released two statements “saying there would be no statements or press conferences about the killing.”
That just seems… odd. Defensive. Like maybe they know who the killer is, and are afraid to let it out.

Just that bit right there would make a great Movie Of The Week: Prosecutor or cop knows who killed the mayor, but has to hide it because the reason they know is that they frequented the same hooker (who is the killer).

It’s seldom a good thing when I’m coming up with plot lines like that based on the actions of the cops/prosecutors.

The FBI’s involvement, of course, is to evaluate the available evidence, seize it in the name of the secrecy of the investigation, and make sure it doesn’t see the light of public exposure (unless it implicates conservatives).

When it comes to leftists attacking people on the right, I don’t believe anything is a coincidence anymore.

I bet these murders are due to the leftist climate of hate against Republicans.

Would love to know the word on the street.

“Authorities do not think the incidents are linked.”
CIA’s been at that shit a long time.

It’s certainly an odd and tragic coincidence at this point, though if a third one happens soon I would be more than willing to believe something is up.

Though there is some other violence against politicians going on elsewhere in the news today. In D.C. a democrat congresswoman was attacked in her apartment building: https://www.breitbart.com/crime/2023/02/09/democrat-rep-angie-craig-attacked-d-c-city-tries-reduce-criminal-punishments/

“Kendrick Hamlin, also known as Hamlin Khalil Hamlin…”
Unsurprising. Even in a world of conspiracies, garden-variety Amish violence never goes out of fashion.

“The FBI is involved with the investigation…”

There’s a lot to unpack in that brief statement.
