Marianne Williamson Reportedly Considering 2024 Primary Challenge to Joe Biden

“Apparently Biden’s going to run on a message that the economy is getting stronger. I think that speaks to the disconnect between the analysis of party elites versus the struggle of everyday Americans”

Does everyone remember Marianne Williamson? She was the 2020 Democrat primary candidate who made Joe Biden seem like a reasonable man. She was also very entertaining in debates.

Williamson is apparently considering a primary challenge to Biden in 2024. There is not enough popcorn in the world for this.

FOX News reports:

Spiritual guru Marianne Williamson considers Biden challenge, says DNC is ‘spitting in the face of democracy’

Former Democratic presidential candidate Marianne Williamson is reportedly considering challenging President Biden for the White House in 2024.

The spiritual self-help author is expected to make an announcement about her political future this weekend in New Hampshire, and, should she enter the race, will be the first declared Democratic candidate considering Biden has not yet officially announced he will run for re-election.

“Apparently Biden’s going to run on a message that the economy is getting stronger. I think that speaks to the disconnect between the analysis of party elites versus the struggle of everyday Americans,” Williamson told Politico this week about what was factoring into her decision-making process.

“We’re being asked to limit our political imaginations — to just accept the low unemployment and low inflation rate, that that is sort of the best that we can get,” she added. “But that is a hollow victory. The majority of Americans are still struggling to survive.”

According to The Hill, Williamson is going to make an ‘important announcement’ on March 4th:

Marianne Williamson to make ‘important announcement’ on March 4

Spiritual author and progressive activist Marianne Williamson said on Saturday that she will make an “important announcement” on March 4.

Williamson, who previously ran an insurgent presidential campaign in 2020, hinted at a potential challenge to President Biden in Saturday’s announcement, noting that she has been exploring the possibility of running for the Democratic nomination in 2024.

“As America gears up for the 2024 presidential election, I’m preparing an important announcement on March 4th in Washington DC,” Williamson said in a press release.

“I am motivated by: a commitment to the tenets of liberty espoused in the Declaration of Independence and the Gettysburg Address; a realization of the Democratic Party’s shift away from the party of President Franklin Roosevelt; and the economic injustices endured by millions of Americans due to the influence of corporate money on our political system,” she added.

Here’s a reminder of what Williamson was like on the debate stage:

This should be fun.

Yes. She has 0 chance of winning. She has great odds of her failed candidacy reaping paid speaking engagements, book contracts (or, at least more sales of previously published books), and donations to her charitable foundation.

Campaigning be very, very good to dark horse candidates.

In what world is the economy better for elites? Buy the dip? Short selling?

The market doesn’t look to be fixed anytime too soon. We’ll get a blip for the first half of the year then it looks pretty weak.

I’m not saying she’s wrong that some people are benefiting from this, but I don’t think there’s a “disconnect” so much as there is outright lying.

Marianne Williamson is SOOOO lucky . . . she has her OWN planet to live on!!

At least she is authentic, and not afraid to be, in the face of what comes her way.

That said, the corrupt House of Biden, with Obama still operating under the surface, could care less.

“She was the 2020 Democrat primary candidate who made Joe Biden seem like a reasonable man. She was also very entertaining in debates.”

Before we go slapping ourselves on the back, recall that America just elected a guy who makes Biden look vigorous, and who began his last debate with his sign-off.

Anyone with a D after their name is now electable, regardless of capability, capacity, species, birth certificate, or death certificate.

It’s still “if” Sundowner makes it to the end
That is not a given by far

This could be a lot of fun!

I’m all for the drooling moron getting competition, but this is just as much of a joke as when that idiot Evan McMuffin ‘challenged’ Trump in the primary. IF he runs (and I seriously doubt he’ll be capable of it), then he’ll get 90%+ of the primary votes if she is the only challenger. She is NOT a serious Democrat candidate and never will be.

Wake me up when Obama or Clinton or Newsom announce they’re challenging him.

Go away little girl.

Well, now, not so fast. Entertainment, yes. But she is more than that. She is the spiritual embodiment (sorry for the non-sequitur, but it fits) of the Democratic philosophy, minus all the evil parts necessary to make it work. I hope (please!) she gets the nomination and I can witness the debate between her and whomever the Republicans nominate. Hopefully Nikki Haley. Or Mike Pompeo. To see her debate Trump would not be entertaining or enlightening and she might just wipe the floor with him.

She’s kinda sexy for 70.

These candidates that don’t have a snowball’s chance of winning mount political campaigns in lieu of getting a real job. They then parlay their press coverage into seeking paid speaking engagements, book contracts, and donations to their charitable foundations. They all have their own foundations.

They’ve voted themselves the prerogative to keep left-over campaign contributions, including when they’ve been run out of office.

Randy Andy the former Hereditary Proconsul of NY Distict remains a political force between his Rolodex inherited from Dad, and the >$16 million remaining in his campaign coffers.

It’s amazing what you can “expense” for issues campaigns. Nice work if you can stand it.

If she runs again, she should use this as her campaign song:
