China Enraged Over ‘Indiscriminate Use Of Force’ Against Its Spy Balloon

Beijing threatens to “take further actions in response.”

Communist China, which runs a vast network of forced labor camps and brutally crushes even the slightest hint of domestic dissent, is enraged at the “indiscriminate use of force” against its spy balloon that breached the U.S. airspace.

The unmanned aircraft, which Beijing called an errant “climate-research balloon,” was seen hovering around sensitive U.S. military sites for several days before an F22 fighter jet on Saturday downed it off the South Carolina coast.

The military takedown of the balloon drew sharp criticism from China, with the Communist regime threatening that it “reserved the right to take further actions in response.” On Monday, China’s Vice Foreign Minister Xie Feng decried “U.S. attack on a Chinese civilian unmanned airship by military force.”

The Associated Press reported Beijing’s threat:

China on Monday accused the United States of indiscriminate use of force in shooting down a suspected Chinese spy balloon, saying it “seriously impacted and damaged both sides’ efforts and progress in stabilizing Sino-U.S. relations.” (…)

Vice Foreign Minister Xie Feng said he lodged a formal complaint with the U.S. Embassy on Sunday over the “U.S. attack on a Chinese civilian unmanned airship by military force.”

“However, the United States turned a deaf ear and insisted on indiscriminate use of force against the civilian airship that was about to leave the United States airspace, obviously overreacted and seriously violated the spirit of international law and international practice,” Xie said. (….)

Xie repeated China’s insistence that the balloon was a Chinese civil unmanned airship that blew into U.S. airspace by mistake, calling it “an accidental incident caused by force majeure.”

China will “resolutely safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of Chinese companies, resolutely safeguard China’s interests and dignity and reserve the right to make further necessary responses,” he said.

The downing of the balloon, which China claims was part of its efforts to study climate change, may upend the Biden White House’s bid to work with Beijing on the global climate agenda. The incident could end up “hurting prospects for meaningful cooperation on the impacts of global warming,” Bloomberg feared.

After Saturday’s downing, the U.S. military detected a second high-altitude spy balloon hovering south of the border. China confirmed the ownership of the second aerial device. “Pentagon officials over the weekend said the second balloon was seen transiting across Central and South America, and characterized it as a fleet of surveillance balloons operated by China,” The Wall Street Journal reported Monday.

Chinese spying is not limited to high-altitude surveillance. The Communist regime has been dispatching undercover agents posing as students to penetrate military and nuclear-related research underway in U.S. universities. A vast web of Chinese state-owned companies is stealing industrial and technological secrets in the U.S. and the West for China’s People’s Liberation Army.

What’s indiscriminate about it?

Tell you what, let’s launch some “weather” balloons over China and see what they do about it.

Dear Winnie The Pooh,

Suck my c*ck.

Sincerely,

Uncle Sam

Sure, they pretend to be as outraged as the Whitehouse pretended to care about them laughing at us.

“Communist China… is enraged at the “indiscriminate use of force” against its spy balloon”
Aw, such adorable oriental snowflakery. Offended, offended, offended! We demand!
Maybe we should suggest they cool off by spending more time in their safe space: Tibet.

“The incident could end up “hurting prospects for meaningful cooperation on the impacts of global warming,” Bloomberg feared.”

For crying out loud. What kind of drivel is this? China now gets to do its part for the world media.

    Here is the reality:

    1. China has done nothing about global warming
    2. China is not going do anything about global warming
    3. It’s not possible to do anything about global warming

China has profited handsomely from Mann Made Global Warming ™.

        Oh, that’s good.

Did anybody ever get the magic data set, or is there still BS blocking that? Oh, and don’t sue me bro.

Meanwhile they laugh at the stupid idiots on the West that willingly kneecap themselves over a scam.

China is building coal fired generation plants as quickly as they can to provide electricity to the country. After all, as a developing country (according to the UN) China is exempt from abiding by all the lunatic green agenda laws that the Western governments are burdened with.

China is doing the same thing progressives here in America do*: take a provocative action, then scream bloody murder about how we replied to it as if the first act never occurred. It’s why we always get those “Republicans pounce!” articles.

(* Because Progressives are Marxist, just like Chinese Commies.)

Sometimes I miss the way Trump says, “Jyna.”

Meanwhile, they’re throwing a bonus on the Big Guy’s 10% because they got all the way across before anyone shot it down.

Are they afraid we are going to steal their tech? Now, that would be a good laugh.

The first move was for China to use this as escalation bait. They will make hay on that for years.

Should have never let it proceed into US airspace.

I sympathize with China. What conceivable purpose is served by shooting this down after data collection was completed? It does nothing to China and makes Brandon look like an idiot. /s

Dear Xi,

If you do not want your balloons shot down then don’t fly them over the United States. Thank you very much.

Sincerely,
The United States of America

Nothing in China is privately owned or done without the government’s permission.
Balloons are not sent out with a fly plan or able to maneuver a whole lot. No Balloon just gets away other than sailing on after you may not want it.

I’m still laughing over the supposition that it was piloted by Phileas Fong.

Hopefully the next one will be shot down as soon as it enters our airspace-How about Wuhan as a target with no apologies for any collateral damage? That is what a real JCS as opposed to a woke JCS should reccomend if another baloon is launched

Why should China spend billions developing “stealth” bombers? Just send flights of bomb-laden balloons over and we won’t bat an eye.

Pizz on china in large, yellow droplets

They are outraged! Violating another country’s airspace has always been grounds for shooting down the violating object. The Chinese knew where their balloon was. They could have notified us if it was truly civilian research and asked permission. But the US was fully within its rights defending its airspace. If the US sent balloons over China (assuming we could set that up, perhaps launched from Ukraine), the Chinese would likely not hesitate to shoot them down. As for “green cooperation”, China is a bit polluter and shows no signs of doing anything about it. So why bother doing deals about pollution with them?

Awwww! Xi Jinping is upset that we belatedly defended our airspace. How terrible of us! We aren’t behaving like dutiful vassals of the Middle Kingdom at all! Clearly we are guilty of lèse majesté, and should kowtow before the Emperor for forgiveness.
