Feds Search Biden’s Delaware Home – Find MORE Classified Docs

“during Friday’s search, six more items with classified markings — including some documents from his time as a senator and others from his time as vice president — were taken by investigators, along with surrounding materials,”

This is breaking news. Joey has a major problem.

The NY Times reports:

Investigators for the Department of Justice on Friday seized more than a half-dozen documents, some of them classified, at President Biden’s residence in Wilmington, Del., after conducting a 13-hour search of the home, the president’s personal lawyer said Saturday evening.

The remarkable search of a sitting president’s home by federal agents — at the invitation of Mr. Biden’s lawyers — dramatically escalated the legal and political situation for the president, who has insisted that the previous discovery of classified material at his home and former office would eventually be deemed inconsequential.

“There is no there, there,” Mr. Biden told reporters on Thursday evening during a trip to California.

But during Friday’s search, six more items with classified markings — including some documents from his time as a senator and others from his time as vice president — were taken by investigators, along with surrounding materials, according to the statement from Bob Bauer, Mr. Biden’s attorney.

Think about this. He’s been doing this since he was in the Senate. Is there a doubt in the world that foreigners had access to documents taken home by Biden and held in the, um, safe keeping of Hunter?

How would it take 13 hours to search a home? 13 hours to search Mar-a-Lago, sure, because that’s no ordinary home (not complaining, just observing). But the photos I’ve seen of the Biden Delaware residence? I think I could thoroughly toss that home, attic to basement, in a couple of hours, complete with video.

Anybody checked the corvette’s glove compartment yet?

Well a guess there was some there, there.

The “Don’t make us turn this 2024 car around, Joey!” message continues

Might explain why he did not go to Wilmington this weekend….

Where were the FBI, the TV reporters, …..

I highly doubt anything will come out of this – but one can hope.

I find this whole thing amusing. IMO Biden’s lawyers got going on a project to find anything remotely connected with the “Big Guy” and Hunter – because the Republicans were expected to get control. I seriously doubt they were sent on a mission to recover ancient classified documents that Biden likely does not remember. They stumbled across this classified stuff and were not about to risk their necks to hide it – delicious collateral damage that might keep Biden from running again, after his standing improved following the midterm results.

    Exactly.
“For $1000/hr, I will shred stuff about Hunter and underage hookers. Top Secret documents? That is Leavenworth bait. No way.”

Quite correct. If the Dems had managed to steal the House too then none of this would have seen the light of day. Timing is just a little suspicious. I think the Dems would have found a different way to get rid of Brandon. Either way, he ain’t running in 2024 and the Dems have a huge problem because they have no-one electable as a back up.

    CommoChief in reply to jb4. | January 22, 2023 at 10:08 am

    jb4,

That is very plausible. Another variation could be the puppeteers were looking to toss Biden and Harris. Biden via classified docs but it spun out of control into a way bigger problem than imagined. Harris to be dumped via ambassador or even a deal with Newsom; DiFi resigns and he appoints Harris to Senate. Then Newsom fills the VP vacancy and when Biden is pushed aside assumes the Presidency.

Convoluted and barely within the limits but that’s how d/prog operate; if it’s possible they do it to advance their interests. The issue is too many docs in too many separate locations. That may have sped up or crashed the original timeline.

Feds find, so Democrat’s operatives. Sundowner is right nothing will come of it.

It’s a shame Barky has been totally forgotten and his no doubt Chicago warehouse of unsecured documents

The count is up to five “troves” if I’m not mistaken. I wonder how many he’s got stashed in other locations? This is turning into more than I initially believed.

Remember the breathless furor over Trump having documents in a locked room which the Feds had inspected and suggested a new type of lock which Trump installed guarded by Private Security and Secret Service? All in one location?
Unfortunately, nothing will come of any of this except Brandon will go away with the Press trying to create hysteria over something new to take our attention away from the whole thing

Fox News reported this morning that 1,850 boxes and hundreds of digital documents were sent the the Biden center at the University of Delaware. It seems there has to be more of them.

smalltownoklahoman | January 21, 2023 at 9:11 pm

Question is will anything actually come of this? Will they keep him from running for a 2nd term, will Rs actually get enough Ds to support an impeachment? Cruz actually asked a mighty good question. That almost screams Biden had help getting those docs out of there during his time in the Senate which means he’s likely been compromised for longer than we thought.

TheOldZombie in reply to smalltownoklahoman. | January 21, 2023 at 10:32 pm

I don’t think the Republicans will need to do anything. I think the Dems will after a while go to the White House and tell him it’s time to go or they will side with the Republicans.

    Exactly what happened to Nixon.

I just hope Joe whose known as a angry blowhard idiot even when he didn’t have dementia blows his top and just unloads everything about the Obama’s and the Clinton’s and the rest of the Democrats.

Just to add on to what I mentioned last night: It’s very likely Biden had help getting those documents out of that secure site at Congress during his time as a senator. We need to be taking a close look at Biden’s staff back then as well as who was responsible for the security of these documents back then. Are any of them still working in Congress, handling classified documents? We need to find out who helped him get those documents out of there and to his home and bring them up on charges.

Hillary cackles as she wipes the server with a cloth.

How soon we forget.

    diver64 in reply to scooterjay. | January 22, 2023 at 8:01 am

The difference is that Hillary was getting ready to run for President and everyone thought she would win. Brandon is on his way out with no juice left.

I’m so cynical I think Biden is worth more to the republicans by surviving this than by resigning.

Let’s see what happens when Republican chaired committees start serving subpoenas on Hunter and Penn and digging into how much Biden has been laundering for the CCP

“including some documents from his time as a senator”
“I take classified material. Seriously!”

Who was the politician about seven years ago that everybody was mailing “bags o’ dicks?” We need to start mailing Brandon clown noses or maybe Groucho glasses.

double check the bathrooms, I’ve been known to collect reading material in there that is a few years old

The way Biden handled this, including his prevarication, is yet another example of this corrupt, dishonest man. He has ALWAYS been like this. Many of his ignorant voters had no clue, too busy swallowing the crap fed daily, believing they are the most informed and virtuous, when they are far from it.

Taking a page from PEZ, Inc. Netflix plans on doing a documentary on Joe Biden called “The Classified Document Outlaw”.

But Hunter is going the book route. A deal with Random House is in the works called, “The Spare” with a picture of Hunter on the cover holding his spare crack pipe.

Hunter’s next collection of artwork for sale will be from his special classified documents period

I don’t know what’s more surprising, that they announced finding more or that they’re still looking.

There is no such thing as a “random act of law enforcement” where the feds are concerned. Someone must have given the green light to taking Brandon down.

TheOldZombie in reply to irv. | January 22, 2023 at 12:33 am

I’m speculating here but maybe they’ve found something that is so serious that even they know there is no way they can sweep this under a rug.

Something like evidence of giving copies of those files to foreign governments. Like Ukraine and/or China.

Evil Otto in reply to TheOldZombie. | January 22, 2023 at 7:19 am

I think it could be that the Democrats have simply decided that it’s time for the senile old grifter to go. They’re likely worried that he’s really going to run again, and that they won’t possibly be able to cheat enough to bring him across the finish line… so they’re forcing him out right now.

Where are Republicans calling out the double standard?

All you get is crickets from Mitch McConnell, little Lindsay, and Tom Cotton.

Cotton is carrying McConnell brief case with the plans for the next $1.7 billion spending bill.

Another rat is abandoning ship, as Ron Klain pulls the ripcord.

Re: They found materials “including six items consisting of documents with classification markings and surrounding materials”.

For emphasis, this is far different from saying “”including six documents with classification markings and surrounding materials”.

A more accurate statement might be “including six boxes and file drawers containing documents with classification markings and surrounding materials”.

Despite my view that Biden is the modern epitome of Dorian Gray, I think that all of this stuff is like those boxes in the garage – been sitting around the House for many years, untouched and unremembered. I am reminded of the time when my wife’s last parent passed away. We went through large file cabinets file by file, only to discover their “classified documents” – a large amount of US Savings Bonds unknown to anyone.

LI’s ad server has started offering me direct flights from NYC to Lima. Coincidence, conspiracy, or omen?

Isn’t it possible that this is all in the plans of the democrats to install Kamala as president since she couldn’t make on own?

Suburban Farm Guy | January 22, 2023 at 1:02 am

Historic! First! Black! Woman! President!

This is how they do it.

This is a bad case of ‘hoist by their own petard’ If the Biden administration and the DOJ had not made such a giant screaming fit over Trump declassifying and removing documents *while* he was President and had full declassification authority, this would be nothing, much like every other case where the National Archives finds the occasional “oops” in the semi-trucks full of paperwork that get carted out of the White House every four/eight years. Even if Biden had intentionally taken these documents for (fill in nefarious purpose here), it would have been page 27 news, small print, “A number of documents were found in President Biden’s residence and returned.”

But nope. They just had to go stomp on that rake repeatedly.

It does make you wonder how they were tipped off about the existence of these materials. I notice reports conspicuously omit mention of a warrant. I doubt they could get a warrant on a sitting President not named Trump. This whole think smacks of a cleanup operation by Biden or his handlers. How do we even know these materials were classified at all? Much more convenient to hoover up incriminating paperwork under the rubric of national security.

At the Daily Wire it is reported that the search was done by consent. Andrew McCarthy is quoted there saying that the consent was given because Team Biden knew that there was sufficient evidence to support the issuance of a search warrant, and that requires that there is evidence that a crime has or most likely has, occurred. Search warrants apply only in the criminal field. The Team wanted to avoid documentation and possible public exposure of all that.

I think the tweet on “6 items” being very careful lawyer language is quite correct. If it were 6 Classified Documents they would have said that as they did for his UPenn grifting operation. 6 Items could be 6 boxes each containing 100 Classified documents. In a house Hunter had full access to and who paid The Big Guy $49,912 mth rent at the same time he was getting $50,000mth from Ukraine later increased to $82,000.
Someone got some explaining to do not only on why Classified Documents were stored from here to Timbuktu but also how they were removed from The Capitol, who removed them and where did that money actually come from plus was any declared on taxes as Biden sure didn’t on his tax returns.

Here is my what-if
The Lawyers for the administration are watering down what we think we know to turn it into a nothing to see because everything is classified.
Remember at Mar-A-Lago they even took newspaper clippings
