No need to apologize. A month before the murders, he posted a notice on social media seeking criminals to participate in his graduate research project examining the “thoughts and feelings” experienced by criminals “throughout [their] experience [of committing crimes]”. So his motive may have been either his need for data for his dissertation, or his desire for tips from experienced criminals on how to select victims and cover tracks. Either way, this is one seriously sick dude. See https://twitter.com/jj_talking/status/1608902798669918215/photo/2 and https://twitter.com/jj_talking/status/1608902798669918215/photo/3

It may turn out to be his second or third research project.

As soon as I saw his name this morning I went searching for him at heavy.com because they’re usually right on top of things like this. Showed his pic to my better half and asked- “Does this look like a guy who could kill 4 people?” Instant yes. Read further down and then mentioned to her the PhD in criminology and she said the same thing. So not a unique thought to you.

The writeup at Heavy is very interesting and has added some stuff since this morning. His mother is very anti-gun… I didn’t see anything about knives…

Jesus, I hope he’s the right guy. What a monster

If this holds it will be helpful to that professor who is suing the “internet detective” who identified that professor as the killer.

And as to “holds”, let’s hope this will not turn out to be another “Richard Jewell” case where the system (FBI) ruined a guy’s life with a false, public accusation as the Atlanta Olympics bomber.

    I couldn’t agree more.

It’s not likely. The fool drove his car to the building (White Elantra) there. He also brought his phone with him. He bragged about the killing (traced back to his IP) on 4Chan and gave gruesome details the police have not released to the public.

He even bragged that he was hiding in the Poconos.

It took so long to catch him because they had to cross-reference all the data, something the small-town Moscow police were not capable of. So brought in the FBI and now the SoB is in jail will, someday, end up in the chair for what he did.

He has the right to remain silent.

So the suspect is from Scranton, PA. Next thing we will hear is that Biden will tell us in a press conference that he knows him.

So, any inkling yet as to a motive?

Planned Peoplehood. He wielded a scalpel to abort… uh, relieve his “burdens” h/t Obama. A “hero” in some social circles, a forward-looking visionary of a progressive path and grade.

Planned Pupilhood.

Under the liberal Pro-Choice ethical religion brayed in Progressive sects, neither consent nor cause are required to abort a “burden” h/t Obama, and, in fact, the abortionist is celebrated as a “hero” h/t Pelosi in some social circles.

in College- I lived in the hood with 3 others (two guys and a gal. A gang banger kicked in the door one night. I was at Chem lab and the other two guys were visiting their parents who lived 30 minutes away. Not sure if he was targeting her or just the house.

Turns out I was the only one in the house who didn’t have a loaded gun beside my bed.

She didn’t shoot the guy, but gave him the option to leave with his life.. Thank God for that because clean up would have been a mess… we would have had to call the “wolf”

See how that works? College students with guns and who know how to use them don’t die from psychotic murderers.

The local PD and Feds got a “no knock” out of state warrant. Not an easy thing to do according to other stories. DNA, fingerprints? Something that made it ironclad to the judge that signed the warrant? As an aside, first time I saw his pic my immediate reaction was Ted Bundy.

the more I read about this guy, like he wanted to commit a “perfect murder,” I wonder has no one read Dostoevsky’s Crime and Punishment?
THIS is why it is good to read classics…..

My guess was an incel who had been rebuffed by one or more of the victims.

I hear that the FBI profile came up with two gay black men, one older, driving an older American car. 😉

Moscow during happier times.
