Americans are concerned about the economy and inflation.
Stacey Abrams tried to use the awful economy to justify keeping abortion legal. You know, instead of bringing down inflation or not spending money you don’t have.

While visiting the Caribbean 40 years ago, I learned that due to the prevalence of illiteracy on the islands, food suppliers resort to labeling their jars and cans with pictures of the food they contain. Gerber had no idea why this area was a terrible market for their baby food until someone clued them in.

Abstinence is free. Condoms are available for free at many clinics and universities. The choice to use either requires self discipline. Many of the people in the audience Adams was making her pitch to in that segment absolutely reject the notion of consequences linked to behavior.
They also reject self-discipline. That goes against the Progressive principle of hedonism without consequence.
And many can be used redundantly.
Relying on abortion rather than birth control is an example of the mentality which leads to lack of success throughout life.
No, I don’t remember gas OR food getting more expensive just because we had children. Most certainly when they kids were quite young, we did no more driving than normal and gas didn’t change at all. Food, well, we bought more but it didn’t really change the cost of the items. The inflation we’re seeing now is not because people are having children, it’s because retards are running the economy.

Before listening to Abrams’s argument I was totally against abortion, but her logic is irrefutable. As always, my view on any topic remains provisional until a black woman does the heavy mental lifting for me.

It seems that we are receiving conflicting messages from the black community. Kanye West complains that current public policies are designed to kill blacks. Abrams apparently advocates killing babies (many of whom are blacks in utero) in order to defeat inflation. No wonder we’re all so confused these days.

Me and my wife had our first son when I had just got laid off in the 80s and had bought a house as I was suppose to be transferred to a city 90 miles from our previous place that we were renting. I ended up out of a job for a few months and then found a job in the old city, which had me commuting back and forth each day.
When my wife delivered we sat down and looked at whether it was cheaper with day care or her being a stay-at-home mom. We decided with costs and taxes that she should stay home and raise our kids. It was hard but we survived and I later moved to a job in the city I lived in making more money. In the mid 90s I got a promotion to the East Coast in a subsidiary for Management position and we moved.
The Tank does not understand that children are always expensive no matter how much money you make. Abortion is not an answer for cost control, but is the Democrats answer for eliminating people they do not want and that is usually by race since where are the Abortion Clinics are placed.
