Has there ever been a more illegitimate clown show committee on par with the J6 committee? In America, anyway? We know such one-sided, politically-motivated kangaroo courts aired for public consumption are the norm in totalitarian dictatorships.
The whole thing is a carefully orchestrated three-ring circus designed to do only one thing: ensure that voters never get the chance to elect President Trump again. Because “saving democracy” clearly means not only subverting the will of the people but actually ensuring they don’t get a chance to vote for their preferred candidate at all. Or something.
Soon to be former Rep. Liz let’s find a country to bomb Cheney (Clown-WY) made the goal abundantly clear after losing her seat by nearly 40 points. Indeed, she’s still making that point on the Sunday talks (yes, they are apparently still on the air, who knew?).
Outgoing Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) said Sunday on NBC’s “Meet the Press” that she will do whatever it takes, including running for president, to stop Donald Trump from becoming president again.. . . . [Chuck] Todd said, “Some people suggest if he would be a third-party candidate it will by enough to stop Trump.”Cheney said, “Well we’ll so whatever it takes as I said. He will not be president again.”
Never mind that pesky democratic voting thing, what matters in America is what Liz wants. That’s “democracy.” And stuff.
The entire J6 committee “hearings” have been nothing but a buffoon-laden clown show, replete with carefully doctored “evidence,” utter lack of balance (only anti-Trump “testimony” allowed), and apparently fabricated third-hand “witness” testimony.
No one is likely to forget about the way that “Cassidy Hutchinson’s ‘bombshell’ hearsay testimony about how Trump allegedly tried to assault a Secret Service agent in order to take over ‘the Beast’ (or SUV) so he could join the protesters [fell] apart when the Secret Service told reporters that the two agents at the center of this fantastical tale were willing to testify under oath that what Hutchinson was told happened never happened”
So you can imagine my glee when I saw this:
Without a hint of irony or self-awareness, Liz actually stated that she will not allow President Trump to turn her clown show into a ::: checks notes ::: “circus.”

Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.) on Sunday said the House select committee investigating the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol will not allow former President Trump to turn his testimony to the panel into a “circus.”. . . . “We are going to proceed in terms of the questioning of the former president under oath,” Cheney, one of two Republicans on the panel, said. “It may take multiple days, and it will be done with a level of rigor and discipline and seriousness that it deserves.”“He’s not going to turn this into a circus. This isn’t going to be first debate against [President] Biden and the circus and the food fight that became,” the lawmaker added.
