Biden Gets Updated COVID-19 Booster Shot Despite Saying Pandemic is Over
Meanwhile, likely Democratic presidential hopeful, California Gov. Gavin Newsom quietly set an end-date to the state covid emergency orders.
According to the Democratic trajectory, Biden’s vaccine mandate was supposed to tamp down covid and be a key selling point in electing Democrats during the mid-term.
Unfortunately, the vaccines did not stop transmission or spread. Additionally, Americans are soundly rejecting the booster vaccines, with less than 4% opting for the injections.
Furthermore, polling indicates that a Red Tsunami is building large enough to cover Los Angeles.
So, a desperate Biden publicly received a third covid booster shot in an attempt to sell the vaccine.
President Joe Biden rolled up his sleeve and got his updated COVID-19 booster shot Tuesday, as he urged millions of people who have yet to be boosted to do so by Halloween, if possible, so they can gather safely with family and friends this holiday season.
“Get vaccinated,” he said, noting that it’s free. “Not enough people are getting it.”
Biden also called on Congress to provide the billions of dollars the administration has requested to buy additional vaccines, tests and treatments. Some lawmakers have balked at the request for more than $20 billion in new coronavirus funding.
Biden, who was flanked by his COVID-19 response team, declared that the fight against the spread of virus is global in nature and the “funding we seek is critical” to that effort.
Despite telling CBS’ 60 Minutes that the pandemic was over about a month ago, Biden went to work ginning up fears of another dark winter of covid and despair. He was also joined by Dr. Anthony Fauci.
Biden, 79, was joined by Dr. Anthony Fauci, Health and Human Services Secretary Xavier Becerra, Surgeon General Vivek Murthy and his COVID response coordinator Ashish Jha as he got his shot. It was his fifth shot overall..
‘This is a global health emergency,’ Biden said, urging Congress to fund more money for testing and vaccination.
‘As we enter this new moment in the battle against covid, let’s use it to start fresh as a country, to put all the old battles over covid behind us. To put all the partisan politics aside. We’ve already lost over 1 million Americans to covid,’ he said.
‘We can do so much now to reduce the number of people who die from this terrible disease. We have the tools. We have the vaccines. We have the treatments. None of this is about politics. It’s about your health,’ he added.
I would also like to note that Biden has already tested positive for covid…twice. It will be interesting to see if there is a third time, especially within the next month (as was the case for CDC Director Rochelle Walensky).

California Gov. Gavin Newsom said Monday the state will end its COVID-19 state of emergency in February 2023, nearly three years after it was first declared.
The months-long timeline will better prepare the state health care system for any surge in COVID cases that may result after the holidays and will give local governments time to make necessary changes, Newsom’s office said.
“Throughout the pandemic, we’ve been guided by the science and data – moving quickly and strategically to save lives. The State of Emergency was an effective and necessary tool that we utilized to protect our state, and we wouldn’t have gotten to this point without it,” Newsom said in a statement. “With the operational preparedness that we’ve built up and the measures that we’ll continue to employ moving forward, California is ready to phase out this tool.”
I suspect Newsom hopes the move will boost his chances of success in 2024 and inoculate him against blame for the impending Democratic midterm catastrophe.

Had an annual check-up, yesterday. The doc was good, not pushy at all on the boosters (I received the first two Wuhan virus shots in year 2020, but, no boosters since). She recommended them, but, didn’t press the issue when I explained that as a guy under age 50 and in good health, with no underlying conditions, I believed that natural immunity was superior to the temporary immune-boost (and, that’s what it is, not “immunity” as has historically been understood).
Biden has had covid at least 2 times. Whereas all the unvaccinated ,but for 10 people more or less, who had covid and recovered , have not had a re-occurrence. Clearly the healthy should not have been vaccinated, but rather allowed to get the disease and be treated by the early intervention of a Z-pack, ivermectin, HCQ and/or Viatamin D.
Heck, I have no idea if I EVER had COVID. Not only did I not get vaccinated, but I never got tested either on the maybe two occasions I felt ill since March of 2020. When one chooses not to get vaccinated one chooses to just roll with it and not give a hoot about even testing.
I’m certain I had it, both at the very beginning, and a few months back. No clot shots for me. Nothing really bad, less than a bad flu worse than a cold and I’m a few months short of 70.
But test for it? Why? The test is faulty and means nothing and most importantly I refuse to become a government statistic.
Also, this phenomenon of Dumb-o-crats making a self-congratulatory, public spectacle of getting a Wuhan virus booster is utterly nauseating.
How about the Dumb-o-crats apologize to Americans for their indefensible, politically-motivated Wuhan virus histrionics, hysterics, fear-mongering and dishonest hyperbole, and, for the incalculable economic and societal suffering and misery they inflicted via their lawless and obnoxiously totalitarian Wuhan virus diktats?
The Dumb-o-crats’ gall is simply astounding, inasmuch as they are just strutting about, totally carefree, feeling that they don’t owe an apology or any scintilla of accountability to the citizenry for their Wuhan virus policies (and, for the Dumb-o-crat insurrection in year 2020, besides).
Every day I wake up healthy, and ready for work/whatever, and I regret not being vaccinated, let alone boosted.

Hell that’s where the emphasis should be, on offering protection to those with higher risks v the rest of us.

Over a limited duration it does offer some protection from super symptoms. For the elderly who have less need to be concerned with long term effects it makes sense for those folks to use it. Everyone else…not so much IMO.

I don’t even believe it WAS the booster.
There are way too many videos of Important People on video getting fake jabs for me to believe that he actually got the clot shot.
There is no longer sufficient benefit/cost to a COVID booster and an adverse reaction to the booster is more likely if you’ve had the real thing.
Maybe he really did get all those shots. There’s accumulating evidence they cause or exacerbate dementia.
