Fauci Leaving His Post in December But Said He’s ‘Not Retiring’

Bye.

Dr. Anthony Fauci will leave his post as Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) in December. He announced last month he would leave at the end of Biden’s term.

Fauci became NIAID director in 1984. But most of us didn’t hear about him until COVID. Boy, that was a success!

But Fauci isn’t retiring:

“I am announcing today that I will be stepping down from the positions of Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) and Chief of the NIAID Laboratory of Immunoregulation, as well as the position of Chief Medical Advisor to President Joe Biden,” Fauci said in a statement Monday. “I will be leaving these positions in December of this year to pursue the next chapter of my career.”

“It has been the honor of a lifetime to have led the NIAID, an extraordinary institution, for so many years and through so many scientific and public health challenges,” Fauci said. “I am very proud of our many accomplishments.”

Gotta make a dig at Trump:

“I am particularly proud to have served as the Chief Medical Advisor to President Joe Biden since the very first day of his administration,” Fauci said.

“While I am moving on from my current positions, I am not retiring,” Fauci stressed, saying that “after more than 50 years of government service, I plan to pursue the next phase of my career while I still have so much energy and passion for my field.”

“I want to use what I have learned as NIAID Director to continue to advance science and public health and to inspire and mentor the next generation of scientific leaders as they help prepare the world to face future infectious disease threats,” Fauci said.

Fauci said that over the final months of his government career, he will “continue to put my full effort, passion and commitment into my current responsibilities, as well as help prepare the Institute for a leadership transition.”

“NIH is served by some of the most talented scientists in the world, and I have no doubt that I am leaving this work in very capable hands,” he said, adding that, “thanks to the power of science and investments in research and innovation, the world has been able to fight deadly diseases and help save lives around the globe.”

“I am proud to have been part of this important work and look forward to helping to continue to do so in the future,” Fauci said.

Yeah, you did a great job, Fauci. I’ll never forget Leslie’s post about the rates of HIV infection in black and Hispanic men being the same as they were ten years ago. Leslie wrote:

As we enter into the second year of the global response to the coronavirus pandemic, perhaps it is time to start questioning how successful the efforts over the past 40 years have been in containing HIV and if resources could have been better used.

And if Fauci’s “victory” over AIDS is the reason he can proclaim himself the embodiment of “science”, then the time has come for a hard assessment of the realities of that victory and his role in the response.

Let’s not forget that Fauci’s NIH division spent our money to study hormone therapy in monkeys. There were also other experiments on monkeys.

Don’t forget the #FauciEmails! Science? Nope. Fauci was a politician like everyone else.

More importantly, taxpayers fund gain of function research in the Wuhan Institute of Virology.

I shiver at the thought of who will take Fauci’s post. It seems the new person is always worse than his predecessor. Blech.

He should be on trial for crimes against humanity.

Good riddance. Of course, one Fauci’s underlings will just take his place to continue his staggering mix of incompetence and malevolence.

to pursue the next chapter of my career
IOW, it is not “bye” but “How are you going to continue screwing the citizens of America and raking in big bucks for it?”

Of course he’s not retiring. If there’s any way to suck any more money out of the government, he’s going to suck it. If he has even half of the vacuum suction capacity of Kamala Harris he could go on for years.

Is he going to work for some Big Pharma company then?

He’s “retiring” in order to free him up for shredding mountains of evidence. He wants to make sure that his replacement finds a clean office.

He’s “retiring” conveniently in December just before the Republicans take over Congress and can force him to testify for Congressional investigations.

    He should probably lawyer up.

Nothing this lying scumbag says, including this supposed announcement, should be taken at face value.

He is also is waiting until after the mid-terms so he knows whether or not he’s going to spend the next year(s) in the hot seat of committees chaired by Republicans. If the Dems somehow win in Nov this supposed retirement will be placed into the ‘forgettery’ and he’ll continue as before.

I really thought the slow murder of the beagles y flesh eating insects would have done him in.
It was so applauding and with all the animal lovers, astonishing how it was not spoken about on the media, how they circled the bastard even for that
Vocal cords severed and heads placed in large jars while being eaten alive

Who the fuck thinks these things up?

And he used OUR taxpayer money to fund it

Recently 3000 beagles were rescued, it’s a huge business, they use them because they are so docile

It’s so monstrous if I saw that bastard I couldn’t be held back…

Promotion of AZT & Remisvar – are two examples of pure evil

what an embarassment to his family–what a scourge on the world–the effects of his incompetence and corruption will linger for generations

Hey, maybe he is going to actually go practice medicine, he hasn’t done that since completing his residency.

You wouldn’t want to be his patient.

He never did a residency, He’s not board certified. He doesn’t have a Ph.D. He joined the Public Health Service to avoid the military during Vietnam and has cemented his arrogance OpenDoc ego by controlling billions in grant money. He is not a scientist, barely a physician, but a consummate bureaucrat and weasel.

He deserves to spend the next chapter of his career on Death Row awaiting his fate. Solitary confinement, with nothing but the tortured baying of beagles to listen to 24/7.

‘Not retiring’ – because he should be tried and executed for crimes against humanity under the Nuremberg Code.

Scott Atlas just eviserated Fauci for the damage he has wreaked on us. Mengele may be a more accurate name.
