Biden White House “Concerned” as Israel Shuts Down Offices of Terror-Linked Palestinian NGOs

Biden White House “Concerned” as Israel Shuts Down Offices of Terror-Linked Palestinian NGOs

Seven NGO offices shut down by the Israeli security services were linked the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) terrorist group.

The United Nations and the European Union are enraged, while the Biden White House has expressed “concern” after Israel shut down offices of several Palestinian NGOs linked to the terrorist organization Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP).

Biden State Department Spokesman Ned “Price told reporters in Washington that the U.S. was ‘concerned’ about the raids and closures, adding that civil society is an ‘integral element to thriving democracies,'” PBS reported.

On Thursday, Israeli security forces raided and closed down the West Bank offices of seven NGOs that had previously been designated as terrorist entities because of their affiliation to the PFLP, a terrorist group banned by the U.S., the European Union, and other Western countries.

“During an arrest operation in the West Bank, Israeli security forces, including the IDF, Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency) and Border Police closed down seven institutions that had ties to the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), Including six that Defense Minister Benny Gantz previously declared as terrorist organizations,” The Jerusalem Post reported.

Reuters reported the dismayed reaction of the Biden White House, the UN, and the EU:

The designation, which has drawn criticism from the United Nations and human rights watchdogs, was ratified on Wednesday for three of them. The United Nations called for the designations to be revoked.

“Despite offers to do so, Israeli authorities have not presented to the United Nations any credible evidence to justify these declarations,” the UN Human Rights Office said in a statement. “As such, the closures appear totally arbitrary.”

The U.S. State Department said Israel had told the United States it would provide more information on the reasons behind the decision to close the organizations after Washington contacted Israeli officials.

“We will review what is provided to us and come to our own conclusion,” State Department spokesperson Ned Price said.

Nine European Union countries have said they will continue working with the groups, citing a lack of evidence for the Israeli accusation.

PBS reported that the Biden administration “was seeking more information from senior Israeli officials” over the anti-terror raid. It is unclear what “more information” the White House needs, given that the Israeli government has repeatedly released details linking NGOs to the PFLP terrorist group.

As Legal Insurrection reported, citing an official Israeli report as early as February 2019, “at least 30 active and “retired” terrorists were on the payrolls” of some of these NGOs. These terrorist figures included PFLP’s serial airplane hijacker Leila Khaled.

The PFLP, a Palestinian Marxist-Leninist group, first gained international notoriety in the 1970s for carrying out a series of deadly aircraft hijackings — often in collusion with foreign terrorist groups, such as Germany’s leftwing Baader-Meinhof Gang. The PFLP continues terror attacks against Israeli civilians and military personnel.

EU, Western Funding for Terrorism-Linked NGOs

The European governments were at the forefront of the protest, with their diplomats turning up at the office of one such terror-linked NGO to demonstrate their “support.”

“A delegation of mostly European diplomats visited al-Haq’s office hours after the raid in a show of support,” The Associated Press reported Thursday.

The collective anger of European diplomats over shutting down these terrorism-tied groups is understandable. After all, the EU and European governments are the biggest funders of this covert PFLP operation masquerading as a network of NGOs and charities.

“Independent research conducted by NGO Monitor shows that in 2011-2021, the European Commission alone provided at least €28 million for projects featuring these NGOs as implementing partners,” The Jerusalem Post noted in June 2022. “Together with other European governments, the total exceeds €200 million to a network of at least 13 NGOs linked to the PFLP.”

The Europeans are enraged. Where was their rage when Israelis were being murdered by Palestinian Arab thugs? Where was the rage when the kleptocrat Abbas accused Israel of 50 holocausts? Spare me your crocodile tears, you antisemitic bastards.

“The designation, which has drawn criticism from the United Nations and human rights watchdogs, was ratified on Wednesday for three of them. The United Nations called for the designations to be revoked.” The UN and human rights watchdogs, neither of which could create a beer fart in a whirlwind. Let’s pick on Israel, while the elephant in the room is China, with their massive human rights violations.

For a good and funny book on the subject of this NGO bias, try “Catch the Jew” by Tuvia Tannenbaum.

Biden State Department Spokesman Ned “Price told reporters in Washington that the U.S. was ‘concerned’ about the raids and closures, adding that civil society is an ‘integral element to thriving democracies,’”

What rational person would consider Gaza and the West Bank, as historically and currently mismanaged and impoverished by the corrupt and belligerent rule of Hamas and Fatah, respectively, to allegedly represent a “thriving democracy?”

Only a vile and stupid Dhimmi-crat would proffer such an intrinsically foolish statement as this.

They didn’t tell you before they did it? I wonder why?

Call it an unannounced raid looking for evidence, the White House should be OK with that,

“The designation, which has drawn criticism from the United Nations and human rights watchdogs, was ratified on Wednesday for three of them. The United Nations called for the designations to be revoked.”

Oh no, the anti-Israel, frequently anti-semitic organizations are angry that the terrorists who target Israel were raided.

Anyway.

European fools! If the PFLP did get their way and kill all the Jews do you honestly believe they won’t turn their eyes to you next? Islam’s mandate for war (by sword, pen, or womb) is not limited to Jews, anywhere non-Muslims rule is a blight to be stamped out.

“Concerned.”
Shut up and lick, Joe — it’s dripping on your shirt.

When will American Jewish voters see Biden and his Team as Anti-Israel?

“When will American Jewish voters see Biden and his Team as Anti-Israel?”
    ———————————————
    Never.
Because the predominately liberal American Jews will always defend liberalism over survival for Israel or themselves. Sadly, it is a self-destructive disease infecting the liberal mind.

The Euro-weenies have opened the floodgates to the detritus from the Middle East, Central Asia and Africa and now they must cower before the criminal masses they welcomed into their midst. Their own sons and daughters aren’t safe with this plague they welcomed into their nations and now they are showing their own true antisemitic colors.

History repeats itself and the Israelis are smarter than the lot of them. America must always remain one of the Young Lions standing in defense of Israel.

WISteve – the label ‘liberal’ as applied today is Orwellian. There is nothing ‘liberal’ about such people. My blanket term for them is ‘Leftist.” A commenter has suggested to me an equally good label: authorthitarian, and that works just as well. As for most of today’s Jews, they are labeled Jews because of an accident of birth. Their connection to Judaism is slim to none. So, do not be surprised that their connection to the state of Israel ranges from marginal to nonexistent.

Those who promote, make their career and a living from government, now notably identified as the “Swamp” are the same ones who put Obama in office and in on taking control of Biden in the last.. These are not elected people, they are the special appointments who continue to perpetuate the same agenda now as they did during Obama’s tenure. The same ones who aided Obama when funding organizations in Israel to sandbag Benjamin Netanyahu re-election. They supported Obama’s “Apology Tour” and loudly promoted Obama’s administration stance it would never recognize Jerusalem as the their countries Capital,.
Biden’s White House, The Swamp White House, is again pushing the agenda for a global hierarchy which would exclude Israel from having any equal status. Too many of the now 3rd and 4th generation of American Jewish population were not raised as having a Jewish religion but only a Jewish heritage and for the reason that a Jewish bias in our country was as prevalent here as where they emigrated from. We see the bias even today. Israel was founded and grew by those who held and lived the faith.

As long as the Swamp hold D.C. hostage, it will always be an anti-Israel agenda. This the Democrat party which professes to be the party for all races and religions! Right!

“citing a lack of evidence for the Israeli accusation.”

Or to be more accurate, dismissing the evidence out of hand, because their motto is “why would we trust any information that comes from a bunch of Jews?”
