NYC Mayor Adams Still Trying to Blame Other States for the Influx of Illegal Immigrants

Adams is doing everything he can to veil his complaining over the illegal immigrants flooding NYC. You made your bed, Mayor.

Do you remember this?

Pepperidge Farms remembers.

Last week, NYC Mayor Eric Adams whined for the feds to pay for the illegal immigrants coming to the city.

I guess he didn’t like the backlash he received. Or he didn’t like the fact that people remembered he promised to take care of all asylum seekers coming to NYC.

This time around, Adams better phrased his complaining, but yeah. He’s still complaining:

As illegal immigrants and other migrants arriving to the Big Apple on buses from southern border states stretch the city’s homeless shelters thin, Adams implored that all New Yorkers must welcome and fall in line with the city’s plans to house the influx of people, saying: “Everyone’s block is going to be impacted by this.”

“We’re looking at the potential of emergency shelters in hotels, in other facilities. We want to get our faith-based community involved. If there ever was an all-hands-on-deck moment this is it,” Adams said at an unrelated press conference, before criticizing the “callousness” of southern border states, instead of the Biden administration for its immigration policy.

“Our system was inundated with those who were seeking shelter because of the callousness of the states that pushed them out. We’re here. We’re receiving them, and everyone is going to have to be on board,” Adams said. “We can’t have the historical ‘I believe they should be housed, but just don’t house them on my block.’ Everyone’s block is going to be impacted by this.”

“We have to add our advocacy with our ability to help our neighbors. And we need everyone on board with this,” the mayor said. “Because as I stated last week, our schools are going to be impacted, our healthcare system is going to be impacted, our infrastructure is going to be impacted. But we’re going to be willing to do our job – We’re going to do our job, and we’re going to need all New Yorkers to be with us.”

It is everyone’s fault except mine! I said we would take care of asylum seekers, but when I said “we,” I meant the collective we, not just the government!

Where do I sign up to help pay for all the buses we need to hold Mayor Adams to his promise to welcome all these criminals to his city? DC too and the multiple Pelosi mansions. Let’s spread the wealth. There’s more to come.

All hands on deck? The Mayor should take a couple of hundred illegals to live in his house and thousands more to live in NYC offices.

Oh the double minded man

Is anyone else moving to NYC other than these illegals? Manhattan has lots of empty offices and co-ops from businesses and people who have abandoned the city. Start there Mayor. The replacements have arrived. Welcome to your Fourth Reich Utopia.

When nothing but nothing is ever your fault, or the fault of your policies, or the fault of those with whom you associate such as your political party,

then you just might be a DEMOCRAT.

He can whine and complain all he wants to, but until they start putting illegals on the Upper West Side nothing will change. They’ll fill up Brooklyn, the Bronx, Manhatten and Long Island first, still plenty of room.

UWS is Manhattan, but you.are correct. There needs to be bussing to the UWS, UES, Battery Park, Midtown, Chelsea, and then Brookly Heights, Williamsburg, Park Slope, Long Island City, then all across North Shire Long Island. That should do it.

Sorry about that, I’ve only been to NYC once, and that was 1977. I only know about the UWS because of Maha Rushie saying that’s where all the limousine liberals lived. Is Haarlem full?

NYC had its chance, and they chose to elect ANOTHER moron as their mayor.

This guy is so dumb he has to have his name sewn on his shirts so he doesn’t forget.

Don’t look to other States, look to the pedophile in the white house.

“We can’t have the historical ‘I believe they should be housed, but just don’t house them on my block.’ Everyone’s block is going to be impacted by this.”

How many illegals has the mayor taken home in Gracie Mansion?

If you designate your city as an illegal sanctuary (both meanings), expect to get illegals. Send them all to “sanctuary cities.” They want ’em, they should get them. Everywhere else, greet the arriving buses and planes with armed deputies and tell them to move along.

Pass the popcorn.

Yet Mayor Adams is practicing NIMBY politics for the Nation. I lived in El Paso for a decade and there was and remains a large strain on schools, public services, food pantries, policing. There are plenty of people in border communities and States who personally donate their money, time and resources to help alleviate the constant humanitarian crisis in their areas. That’s above and beyond the tax dollars diverted.

It’s incredibly ironic that in the midst of the largest illegal population migration in US history that those d/prog politicians and voters who for decades advocated and encouraged policies that enable and sustain this crisis on a permanent basis are now opposed to the consequences of their policy preferences when problems appear on their own doorstep.

    ‘Welcome to the party pal.’

One must admit

The left has taken and combined the ability to lie, spin, manipulate and ignore truth altogether while detaching themselves from all responsibility to a level exceeded only by Lucifer himself

2smartforlibs | July 26, 2022 at 9:32 am

Adams wants them in without restriction. Well not putting them in liberal cities is a restiction.

    JackinSilverSpring in reply to 2smartforlibs. | July 26, 2022 at 11:16 am

Not liberal, Leftist. Some of those cities want the illegals liberally excluded from their cities. Whatever happened to inclusiveness?

Hey Adams! Hear this…the tiniest of violins. Suck it up buttercup, deal with it like YOUR Moron _Resident forced onto other unsuspecting towns and cities. Waahhh, waahhh. Loser.

henrybowman | July 26, 2022 at 1:13 pm

His tears are delicious.

Hey New Yorkers, what a prize you guys elected!
He’s ready, willing, and able to put YOUR money where HIS mouth was.

Adams should have bothered to read all the NY Post articles about illegals being flown at night by Brandon to obscure airports in Westchester. This does not even begin to approach what the border towns and cities are dealing with on a daily basis.

Hah! States without borders.

That said, emigration reform to mitigate the progress of immigration reform and collateral damage at both ends of the bridge and throughout.

It’s so simple even Mike Tyson can understand it. Illegal aliens don’t come from other states, Mr. Mayor, they come from other countries.

No sarcasm: I wouldn’t put Adams in Mike Tyson’s class. Tyson was a troubled kid, but he was a winner of winners. He’s evolved into quite the humble humanist. As for Adams: a schmuck on the order of Kamala Harris and Gavin Newsom.

Adams should just do what the Good People of Rock Ridge did, and refuse to take the Irish.

Invasions are always fun and games until they come to your location. Shut up, Adams. You asked for it, supported it and waxed poetic about how great the illegals were until you had to pay for it. Complain to Brandon&Co for ignoring the law.
