‘The View’ Throws Tantrum After Josh Hawley Questions Ketanji Brown Jackson’s Judicial Record

“You know, this is a woman who can — who can outshine each and every one of [the last three people they put in]. Her abilities are outstanding. I mean, she’s outstanding. So, you put in Amy Coney Barrett, you put in the other one, you know, and you’re questioning her?” Whoopi Goldberg whined.

With Russia’s invasion of Ukraine taking center stage in American newsrooms over the last several weeks, the debate over President Biden’s nomination of Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson to replace retiring Justice Stephen Breyer on the Supreme Court has sort of been placed on the back burner.

But last week, the debate was revived after Republican Senators had the audacity to publicly take issue with Judge Jackson’s judicial record just days ahead of the beginning of her confirmation hearings, with Sen. Josh Hawley in particular taking to the Twitter machine to share his concerns:

You can read the full thread here.

Of course, Democrat apologist so-called “fact-checkers” in the media rushed to Judge Jackson’s defense in a way you will rarely if ever see them do in response to attacks from the left on Republican nominees to our nation’s highest court.

Meanwhile, the Usual Suspects on the radical left are already trotting out the “QAnon” card to deflect from the substance of the criticisms:

Naturally, Hawley’s tweets caught the attention of the ninnies co-hosts of ABC’s The View.

On their Friday program, guest co-host Eboni K. Williams (of RHONY infamy) trotted out the “raaaace” card, with fake Republican Ana Navarro advising Jackson to stay strong because she wouldn’t be able “to get away” with having a “crying meltdown” like Brett Kavanaugh did, and Whoopi Goldberg emphatically proclaiming Jackson to be “outstanding,”especially in comparison to Republican nominees like Amy Coney Barrett and Kavanaugh:

Bringing things back to Jackson, Williams suggested the only reason her record was being scrutinized was because of race. “But Whoopi, let’s not pretend we don’t know what this is about. You know what bus is always on time,” she rhetorically asked. “The one that indicts the determinations of the qualifications of black women in this country. And that bus is never late.”

“Just based on the people, the last three people they put in. You know, this is a woman who can — who can outshine each and every one of those people,” Goldberg added as she looked to direct their ire at the conservative justices. “Her abilities are outstanding. I mean, she’s outstanding. So, you put in Amy Coney Barrett, you put in the other one, you know, and you’re questioning her?”

Watch:

Rumor has it the wahmbulance was on standby for this episode, but those reports are unconfirmed as of this writing.

But seriously, let me do my best in tackling the highlight (lowlight) reel here.

For starters, Jackson is unlikely to have a “crying meltdown” during her hearings because I’m pretty sure she’s not going to be accused of being a lifelong gang rapist. Though Hawley is accusing her of being sympathetic to sex predators, at least he’s using her judicial record and public statements and recommendations as a basis for it, not making inflammatory insinuations based on groundless accusations gleaned from discredited sources.

Secondly, maybe Eboni Williams should spend less time trying to play “QWEEN” on the programs she appears on and more time doing actual research on the history of black judicial nominees before she goes off half-cocked and looking like a fool. It was mind-numbing to see her talk about the “bus” that is “always on time” (talking about alleged GOP racism) without once acknowledging how then-Senator Joe Biden blocked the nominations of two high-profile black Republican nominees: Janice Rogers Brown and even more infamously Clarence Thomas.

That Ana Navarro didn’t step in to correct the record on this just reaffirms what a complete fraud and sellout she’s become.

And lastly, regarding what Goldberg said about Jackson’s record being “outstanding,” let’s not forget what she previously said about “Dr.” Jill Biden (who is not a medical doctor) in March 2020:

Then, shortly after the co-hosts began discussing potential running mates for the former vice president with ABC News correspondent Jon Karl, Goldberg began, “I’m hoping Dr. Jill becomes the surgeon general, his wife.”

“Joe Biden’s wife. She would never do it but, yeah, she’s a hell of a doctor. She’s an amazing doctor,” she went on, earning some scattered applause from the audience.

It goes without saying that we are not dealing with the sharpest tools in the shed when we’re talking about View co-hosts, who just two short months ago accused Justices Barrett and Thomas of being gender and race traitors respectively.

Here’s a bonus quote from Dick Durbin, second in command to Sen. Majority Leader Chuck Schumer:

Sure. It’s okay for the Democrats to go scorched earth on Republican nominees, but the Senate must be “respectful” of Democrat nominees. Get the hell outta here with this double standard BS.

Bret Kavanaugh. Ring a bell?

The left manufactured a fantastical tale with one accuser who was quite obviously as crazy as a shit-house rate and ZERO corroboration.

The right quotes her judicial record and her writings.

A friend of mine was raped by Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson 20 years ago when they attended a party.

I accuse her of having been a crack dealer 20 years ago. Also, she paid no taxes for ten years.

Evidence? I don’t need no steenkeen’ evidence. It’s as true as the allegations against Kavanaugh, or Romney, or Rittenhouse.

She handed me a can of coke with a pubic hair on it and joked about it. It created a very hostile work environment.

Bad comparison. That was all made-up bullshit that they couldn’t produce an iota of evidence to back it up. This is actual record backed up by court rulings.

“You know, this is a woman who can — who can outshine each and every one of [the last three people they put in]. Her abilities are outstanding. I mean, she’s outstanding.”

Sure she’s outstanding. AA can make even a turd shine,

Goldberg began, “I’m hoping Dr. Jill becomes the surgeon general, his wife. Joe Biden’s wife. She would never do it but, yeah, she’s a hell of a doctor. She’s an amazing doctor.”

A turd with a degree in “education” is “an amazing doctor.”

Yep, well said, she is an Affirmative Incompetent, who has been that way from the beginning.

Democrats are OK with perverts molesting children. They are happy to have a tight 10 year old.

But if Trump makes a comment about gold diggers letting him “grab them by the pûssy” they have a cow.

Democrats. On the wrong side of the social spectrum for more than 150 years.

Next thing you know, Democrats will support ropes around the neck of…. Ooops. Never mind. They are for that, too.

One more thing. Is there no buffet that Whoopi Goldberg won’t pass on?

Stop giving the view publicity

irv in reply to gonzotx. | March 20, 2022 at 5:54 pm

Are you kidding? If the right stopped watching the View to find things to complain about, no one would watch them at all. Then they’d be unemployed and ….

Sorry. You’re right. Stop giving the View publicity!

Aren’t these the same people that extolled the excellent quality of Dr. Jill Biden’s medical practice?

None shall ask. Diversity [dogma] (e.g. racism) breeds adversity.

No worries for the nominee … if her confirmation fails, she can always do a cameo on Star Trek – the franchise loves them some polished turds.

I heard about that: Stacey Abrams having a cameo. What did she, play a planet they landed on?

She reprised her role as the space amoeba of S02E18. Fandom says this about it:

“The giant amorphous creature is thousands of miles large and seems to be made out of some unusual forms of matter and/or antimatter. It … stays alive by consuming entire planets, asteroids and ships. The negative energy it generates causes disease and exhaustion in humanoid lifeforms and creates a zone of darkness, annihilating regular energy in a similar manner to which antimatter annihilates matter.”

      Seems fitting.

Just like all who scream alla-snackbar and blow things up are muslims, all who diddle kids are democrats. They must protect their own so a USSC justice soft on child rape is just the thing they need! I so loathe these scum that are destroying our world.

The Gentle Grizzly in reply to oldvet50. | March 21, 2022 at 6:55 am

all who diddle kids are democrats.

So, are all the clergymen and “youth ministers” that mess with kids Democrats as well? They strike me as a crowd who would be on “the religious right”.

A few years ago I thought the Left was merely pro-criminal. Now it’s clear there’s a particular class of criminal to which they’re most sympathetic.

You know, I didn’t buy in to the “Pizzagate” stuff when it first emerged…

That’s OK. If your mommy doesn’t accept you completely, I’ll be your mommy.

Well then. Let’s put this outshining example on full display. Let she who can’t be questioned demonstrate to the world that it is stupid to question her.

I don’t know about the rest of you, but that will satisfy me.

“You know, this is a woman who can — who can outshine each and every one of [the last three people they put in]. Her abilities are outstanding. I mean, she’s outstanding.”

Translation: the nominee is black and (identifies as) female.
“That is all ye know on earth, and all ye need to know.”

The d/prog are not coming across as kid friendly; the want trans in locker rooms, hidden sexual assault in schools, what amounts to sexual grooming of K-3. Now they are upset when it’s pointed out the SCOTUS nominee has a history of handing down weak sentences for sexual predators.

Ask every single d/prog every day until the vote or the nomination is withdrawn whether they support light sentences for sexual predators. Every candidate and office holder from dog catcher on up. Let them explain.

We’ve established Whoopi Goldberg is an incredible ignoramus and hypocrite.

Who cares what she says or does?

An unfortunately large number of people.

I remember back in the day about the gag of Peg Bundy and Oprah.

With this millennium generation and their collective lack of reasoning ability, emotional stability and critical thinking skills- there are a LOT who really do get “life instructions” up to and including what and how to think from Whoopie and their ilk.

Hmm, the next time I care about what anyone on “The View” thinks will be the very first. And Whoopi doesn’t seem to be the sharpest bulb on the tree, so her “analysis” is as useful as a bicycle is to a fish.

Be careful what you wish for, you might get it – Kamala as the next choice? All Biden’s handlers have to do is convince her that Biden can make it to 2024 and VP is a dead end job.

    Milhouse in reply to jb4. | March 21, 2022 at 4:22 pm

The only way the Dems would allow Harris to be appointed to the supreme court would be if she stayed on as VP as well, so they could keep their “majority” in the senate. Because if she resigns the GOP could prevent her replacement from being confirmed.

Technically there’s nothing in the constitution to prevent that; after all, if a supreme court justice can simultaneously serve as secretary of state, why not as VP? But it would be outrageous beyond anything the Dems have attempted until now, and might induce enough Dems to rebel and join a GOP move to impeach her.

Whoopi “It wasn’t rape rape” Goldberg is in agreement with the soft treatment of those preying on children.

Steven Brizel | March 21, 2022 at 8:13 am

Let’s hear evidence without intimidation of the speaker

This is the same Whoopi who proudly declared that “Doctor” Jill Biden should be the Surgeon General, despite the fact that Jill doesn’t have an MD, but rather a PhD.

Stop listening to stupid people.

Actually she has an Ed.D. rather than a Ph.D.

That race card is tattered and been through the cleaners one too many times to be effective any more.

Biden announced the appointment of Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson to the U.S. Supreme Court, appeasing left-wing special interest groups and fulfilling a campaign promise of using race and sex to determine his nominee.  There are few decisions more important for a president than the selection of a Supreme Court nominee. Biden has failed making this appointment. Ketanji Brown Jackson is the most radical judge ever nominated for a seat on the Supreme Court. A review of her record and judicial philosophy reveals a deeply troubling pattern and raises questions about her ability to be a fair and impartial judge. Her limited judicial record reveals that she has consistently ignored the Constitution, twisting the law to favor certain outcomes. Judges should play a limited role in our government, yet Jackson’s far-left supporters want her to impose a political agenda that invents new rights or erases rights she doesn’t like. Based on the information we already know, senators should reject her for this lifetime appointment. Senators should reject her nomination!
Jackson is strictly an affirmative action nominee, black and female mandated by Biden, and she is not the best qualified or experienced judge available. The Supreme Court deserves the best and race and gender is not a qualifier!

Throw whoopi another stacked ham sandwich. She’ll forget all about Hawley.

MnemonicMike | March 21, 2022 at 9:27 pm

I wonder if the last three nominees got into college and law school on Affirmative Action.
