No Apologies, No Remorse From 51 Intel Officials Who Spread Disinformation To Blunt Hunter Biden Laptop Revelations

No Apologies, No Remorse From 51 Intel Officials Who Spread Disinformation To Blunt Hunter Biden Laptop Revelations

“The officials . . . signed a letter saying that the laptop ‘has the classic earmarks of a Russian information operation’.”

https://nypost.com/2020/10/14/email-reveals-how-hunter-biden-introduced-ukrainian-biz-man-to-dad/

Earlier this week, the New York Times infamously “broke” the story about Biden family influence peddling first reported by the New York Post on October 14, 2020 and followed up with more explosive information about the deals that were struck with foreign entities and the “cut” that would go to “the big guy,” Joe Biden.

The journalist who broke the story, Emma-Jo Morris, is now at Breitbart and has some thoughts about their “scoop.”

Well over a year after the 2020 presidential election and while everyone is focused on Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, the Times thought it would be good to get it into the “paper of record” that yes, Hunter Biden’s laptop did contain verified and very troubling information, including the peddling of his father’s influence when the latter was serving as vice president under Obama.

We covered the influence peddling revelations and the collusion across government, media, and Big Tech to quash the truth.  Here are just a few of our posts (there are many more):

At the time the Post broke the story, the entire left-wing colossus conspired to keep the information hidden from the American people. As Mary noted after the 2020 election, their collusion to bury the truth worked, Biden’s presidential campaign was not impacted by the revelations because voters either didn’t hear about them or believed them to be “Russian disinformation.”

Why did people think that it was Russian disinformation?  Not only was the media hammering that point endlessly and Big Tech stifling the truth as “misinformation,” but 51 intelligence “experts” got together, penned a letter, and signed their names to willful propaganda that undermined the veracity of the emails at the root of the influence peddling controversy.

The New York Post reports:

But the 51 former “intelligence” officials who cast doubt on The Post’s Hunter Biden laptop stories in a public letter really were just desperate to get Joe Biden elected president. And more than a year later, even after their Deep State sabotage has been shown again and again to be a lie, they refuse to own up to how they undermined an election.

The officials, including CNN pundit and professional fabricator James Clapper — a man who was nearly charged for perjury for lying to Congress — signed a letter saying that the laptop “has the classic earmarks of a Russian information operation.”

What proof did they have? By their own admission, none. “We do not know if the emails . . . are genuine or not,” the letter said. They’re just “suspicious.” Why? Because they hurt Biden’s campaign, that’s evidence enough.

The media, of course, picked up where the, as the Post puts it, “spies who lie” left off with their vague “suspicions,” and took their baton to run ahead in the relay, pronouncing to all that the “Hunter Biden story is Russian disinfo, dozens of former intel officials say.” Except they didn’t. Not explicitly, not in that letter, anyway.

This is why they are not apologizing.

They didn’t lie.  Not exactly. In fact, they explicitly stated that they have no evidence to support their conclusion; indeed, they admit they have no idea at all what they are talking about and aren’t basing it on anything other than their ‘experience’-based suspicions.

We want to emphasize that we do not know if the emails, provided to the New York Post by President Trump’s personal attorney Rudy Giuliani, are genuine or not and that we do not have evidence of Russian involvement — just that our experience makes us deeply suspicious that the Russian government played a significant role in this case.

The doubt these “intel officials” cast, though, was enough—as intended—for the partisan hacktavists in media to run with.  Personally, I would have stopped taking the letter seriously at this paragraph, as would any thinking person.

From this carefully designed bit of propaganda successfully crafted to provide their media mouthpieces cover, the baton passed to Big Tech, who grasped it with glee and immediately began cancelling and deplatforming any person or entity, including the New York Post itself, for spreading this “Russian disinformation.”

Information that was all true and that every single one of these people from the very top to the lowliest editor at the least-clicked leftwing hackrag knew was true, but they were desperate to hide these bombshell revelations so that their preferred candidate, one they have strong evidence has been enriching himself and his family by peddling his position and influence for years to foreign entities, be elected president.

The left likes to wail about “Democracy” in peril, under threat, on the brink, but there is little that more imperils our Constitutional Republic than a cabal of powerful people colluding to influence elections by purposefully and willfully hiding the truth about candidates for the highest office in the land.

Why would they apologize for something they don’t consider wrong?

      “Spies Who Lie”???
Of course they lie! It’s a job requirement!
If you think they lie to everyone else but always tell YOU the truth, pull over and give the wheel to someone else, someone who won’t be Driving While Stupid.

Arminius in reply to henrybowman. | March 21, 2022 at 9:52 pm

First of all, nothing anyone in this crowd has ever done qualifies them as a “spy.” They aren’t field operatives and never were. They were inside-the-beltway court toadies and throne sniffers.

I was a Naval intelligence officer for 20 years, so I know these types well. It’s their job to be yes men and tell their boss just what the boss wants to hear. You don’t get to be DNI or DCI or head of the FBI otherwise. Recall that under Obama Clapper jumped the chain of command and went directly to the CENTCOM J2 to get him to alter their reporting. Obama didn’t want to fight the IS, so Clapper put pressure on the J2, an Army Major General at the time, to low ball the threat so Obama could cut and run at his earliest opportunity.

BTW, when I say they wouldn’t be in those jobs if they weren’t willing to tell the boss what the boss wants to hear I don’t mean necessarily the guy at the top of the org chart. They kissed Obama’s ass, but when Trump was President they were the resistance. It’s stunning how open Milley and Austin are about how they really were working for Nancy Pelosi against Trump. Why Milley isn’t being court martialed for insubordination or mutiny I don’t know.

Well, of course I know. But the sheer brazenness should be forcing more officers down the chain to resign in protest against their leadership.

Obama famously didn’t want to hear anything except happy talk. He definitely didn’t want to hear “Islam” and/or “Muslim” and “terrorist” in the same briefing. Actually, he didn’t get briefed. He didn’t want to listen to analysts because they would tell him at least part of the truth. So he just had his PDB delivered to his desk where apparently it sat completely ignored. Except for bitching about it to Clapper and Brennan, and then they went back and bitched to their analysts.

The analysts at CENTCOM, if you recall, didn’t take this lying down. They went to their IG and demanded that he put a stop to his very improper pressure to change the intel to suit Obama’s agenda. They knew that Obama’s “war” against the IS was a disastrous failure and they wanted the commanders they supported to know it. Clapper also put the J2, a two star general, in a bad position. On the one hand he didn’t want to tell his analysts to lie. For the simple reason that an actual warfighter signs his FITREP (or whatever they call it in the Army). Operators don’t like it when you lie to them and put their troops at risk.

On the other hand he wants to get promoted and you simply don’t get four stars without playing the political game. And frankly the four star the J2 was working for understood that very well.

This is how you get the fall of Kabul, ladies and gentlemen. Biden wanted to make a speech on the 20th anniversary of 9/11 conditions on the ground be damned. Do you imagine the IC didn’t know exactly what was going to happen? At least the analysts who were actually looking at the problem. Of course, none of that reached the President’s desk and it would have made no difference if it had. He had his yes men in place to make sure he didn’t have to hear or read anything that would upset his agenda.

In any case, leftists don’t want to fight foreign enemies. Their real war is with the U.S. and Americans; those are the people and the country they truly hate. It is such B.S. that the FBI claims the number one domestic terror threat are angry white conservative men. But that’s the agenda.

It’s going to be fascinating to watch the gymnastics in D.C. as the left tries to spin emails that demonstrate that not only was Hunter Biden selling influence. Joe Bide was in on it all along. Hunter complains to his daughter that Joe Biden took half his income. One of Biden’s partners on some of his corrupt deals, Eric Shwerin, revealed in emails that were never intended to see the light of day that he was doing Joe Biden’s taxes, moving money between father and son’s accounts, and in fact Hunter and Joe Biden even shared an account.

Ahh, a kindred spirit who has also been there and done it. Very refreshing.

We cannot stop this unless and until the sheeple become aware and engaged.

Poisonous snakes don’t apologize for being poisonous snakes.

In the scheme of things, that’s what these treasonous bastards are.

    It worked didn’t it?

They never apologize, and Republicans grovel

Yet they get away with it, no one holds them responsible

I never thought I’d see this country spiral into rampant, Soviet-style deceit from the government and media.

I never expected so many different aspects of our government to earn bottomless contempt.

You can’t advertise for 150 years, “Now hiring — wet-dream positions of power over millions” and then suddenly be surprised that you’re full of sociopaths.

I have 10x more hate and contempt for the RINO pieces of shit like Barr.

He had the laptop IN THE POSSESSION OF THE DOJ, and he did absolutely fuck-all about it while these ‘former intel officials’ were out lying their asses off, and while they were BLATANTLY CENSORING any mention of it. And the rest of the idiot RINOs under Bitch McConnell said barely a word of protest against the utterly unprecedented censorship.

The Democrats did it because they knew that Barr was a fatass RINO who wouldn’t lift a finger to stop them from doing it.

Their lawless behavior is 100% enabled by RINO weakness. And unless and until we get real leadership willing to visit real consequences on the people that do it, expect a LOT more lies and censorship.

Dimsdale in reply to Olinser. | March 19, 2022 at 10:16 pm

My complaint about Barr is that he summarily dismissed any evidence of ballot tampering/fraud without examining any of it.

taurus the judge in reply to Dimsdale. | March 20, 2022 at 7:27 am

No and don’t fall for the lie. Listen to a former intel/psyop type.

The FIRST RULE in disinformation is that you MUST know the absolute truth.

If you do not then you run the risk of actually revealing it by accident. Also, if there is an alternate goal in the op, you must steer the sheeple toward the “belief” you want them to have.

Also, its well understood that that any “false truth” ( to be accepted by the masses as “fact”) must be able to survive a 2-3 level vetting process because 80% of “the sheeple” will give it a cursory look and your false truth must survive that test.

So, in addition to the “false truth”, you must also either create the FT to “fit’ existing untruths ( steer away from the actual truth and it gives the legitimacy of “time”) or create a series of “false evidence” ( which is often true so it will survive scrutiny) so people can find them and that bolsters the FT.

Both techniques work well when executed properly. An example of how this failed is Brandon blaming all the gas and inflation on Putin- there is no 1-3 level supporting evidence and the sheeple are not buying it.

      Intel operates 2 ways.

99% of the truth is a lie.

99 truths out of 100 total is also a lie

Thus the term “plausible” deniability- if its an obvious fraud, it ain’t “plausible”

Barr knew it was stolen and he used the old faithful “appeal to authority” fallacy with his position to try to de-legitimize the claims it was stolen while presenting the false front of “official” truth to bolster the claim it wasn’t giving the illusion of neutrality. (textbook grey propaganda)

    True

Dathurtz in reply to Olinser. | March 20, 2022 at 7:14 am

I don’t think it is weakness. I just think he and they are enemies domestic.

We were all aware from the beginning that Barr and Mueller are drinking buddies, best buds from way back. Cocaine Turtle’s best bud Chuck Schumer warned everyone from the beginning that the CIA has “six ways to Sunday” to get what they want from the Swamp.

We are talking to the wrong people. Our politicians and their social club back rooms are just paid servants to who really calls the shots. We need to replace them and start dismembering the Swamp by slashing spending. Time to decapitate the CIA, DOJ, State dept, for starters. Then eliminate entire departments like the EPA, Dept of Education, Homeland Security, Dept of the Interior, and so many more. We can take care of ourselves better without these skunks selling us out to our enemies and sending us the bill.

    #meantweets 2024!!!

WaPo had it wrong: It is “our Constitutional Republic” that dies in Democrat-induced darkness.

Steven Brizel | March 19, 2022 at 10:38 pm

These are members of the same crew that had no ability to warn about 9-11 and now is afraid of confronting Putin China and Iran

The missing nugget in this story is the guy who’s shop Hunter abandoned his laptop in.

We owe him.

https://nypost.com/2022/03/12/hunter-bidens-laptop-repairman-harassed-nearly-bankrupt/

Democrat Propaganda Ministry personnel

I’m not surprised by the lies. I’m surprised by how many of our institutions are totally gone.

to quote Harry Reid: “it worked, didn’t it?”

I’m 69 years old. The America that I grew up in is gone. Totally.

Blackgriffin | March 20, 2022 at 9:48 am

“Apologize.” That’s cute. Sad, but cute.

If Hunter was on the take from Russia and China, I wonder how many of the so called intel experts were/are on the take?

The United States of America has lost the war. May those that participated in it be awarded according to their work.

Our country will no longer be 50 states. And that might be the best thing for those of us who haven’t lost our souls, or minds: we’ll be happier away from the people who have destroyed our nation.

Here is my question

Why are we paying for these Democrat operatives?

The policy should be

“No purge no pay” for these “agencies”.

Arminius in reply to Danny. | March 21, 2022 at 10:07 pm

I totally agree. When I was in Naval intelligence and stationed in Japan I had occasion to deal with the CIA. They were worse than useless. I won’t go into too much detail, but almost always they were passing along “intel” that I read in a Japanese newspaper a week earlier. But now I had to treat it as classified. As the intelligence duty officer I was duty bound to tell the Admiral I worked for what these clowns had said. He’d be gracious enough to give me a few minutes of his time, I’d shut the door and tell him. He’d roll his eyes, shake his head, then thank me for passing it along.

It was more or less like we were both in on the same joke. That joke being the CIA. I would dearly love to be appointed and confirmed as DCI. On my first day on the job I’d announce everyone is fired, hand out pink slips and severance pay, then when everyone is out of the building I’d have the place bulldozed and the earth salted so nothing could grow there again.

Then I’d ask to be Secretary of State. The State Dept. of course being another threat to the republic.

Steven Brizel | March 21, 2022 at 10:33 pm

These so called experts were wrong on 9/11 and on the the threats posed by Iran and China As well as how to deal with Putin Their credibility is shot

My congressman, Paul Gosar, writes in his newsletter today:

Just one month before the 2020 presidential election, 51 intelligence officials, all Democrat operatives, signed a letter casting doubt over the legitimacy of the laptop and claimed, with no evidence, that laptop was consistent with Russian objectives. Twitter banned the story. Politico reported it as “Russian misinformation.” Mark Zuckerberg claimed it was a “hack and leak operation.” NPR discredited the story’s “many, many red flags.”

Guess what? It was true. All of it. And the liberal Fake News, over a year later, is finally admitting that Hunter’s laptop is legitimate.

Our intelligence community is supposed to be a nonpartisan group of top spies looking out for the best interest of our country. On the contrary, the Deep State once again tried to sabotage their political enemies, in this case it was Donald Trump. There have been no consequences for these lies. No apologies given. No shame or remorse by any of the 51 spooks.

In response, this week I became an original cosponsor of the Spook Who Cried Wolf Resolution, offered by Congressman Matt Gaetz of Florida. This resolution demands that the 51 corrupt intelligence spies be barred from holding security clearances. They all should be hauled before Congress to answer questions for deception.
