Election Manipulation Unmasked: NY Times Finally Admits Hunter Biden Emails Were Authentic, Not ‘Russian Disinformation’

Undoubtedly one of the most shameful moments in the history of American journalism came in October 2020, when just a few weeks before the presidential election Joe Biden-supporting Democrats, media outlets including NPR, CNN, the WaPo, Politico, and others colluded with Big Tech to suppress the NY Post’s solid investigative reporting (backed up by additional reporting from the Daily Caller) on the Hunter Biden laptop and the emails that were contained on it that raised major concerns about influence peddling.

Not only did Twitter lock the New York Post’s Twitter account for two weeks because they refused to take down tweets referencing the story, but it also flagged other users who tried to share it. Facebook also suppressed the paper’s reporting and, as Twitter noted in its own rationale, Facebook said it was done under the guise of wanting to halt the spread of “disinformation.”

The Democrat apologist media “reporting” at the time coalesced around a fake “Russian disinformation” narrative, allegedly sourced by “dozens of former intel officials” who suggested in so many words that Russia cooked up the email scandal to influence the 2020 presidential election. Though then-DNI John Ratcliffe insisted that intelligence agencies had no evidence of such a scheme, the media and Democrats ran with it nevertheless because they were terrified the Post’s stories would lead to President Trump’s reelection.

Here are some examples of the media doing their part to debunk/suppress/falsely label the story:

Jen Psaki, who went on to become Biden’s press secretary, made sure to join in:

Fast forward some 17 months, and the New York Times has dropped some fresh reporting on the topic, “confirming” what we already knew about the emails:

People familiar with the investigation said prosecutors had examined emails between Mr. Biden, Mr. Archer and others about Burisma and other foreign business activity. Those emails were obtained by The New York Times from a cache of files that appears to have come from a laptop abandoned by Mr. Biden in a Delaware repair shop. The email and others in the cache were authenticated by people familiar with them and with the investigation.

The New York Post’s original reporting was not referenced anywhere in the Times piece because of course it wasn’t.

Perhaps even more infuriating then the media’s original censoring of the story was how some reporters acted shocked that the New York Times was able to authenticate the emails:

Naturally, reactions from conservatives to the news were swift:

Now that the New York Times has given the emails their official seal of authentication, the Politico story and others like it must be revisited:

Don’t count on it, for reasons explained here and then some:

Yep. Mission accomplished. Move along, nothing to see here. Right?
