Former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo resigned from office less than a year ago and he is already working on a political comeback to rehabilitate his career. He thinks he’s been vindicated.
Questions still linger about his nursing home policy during the pandemic which killed thousands, the book he wrote allegedly using state resources, and many allegations of sexual assault. Apparently none of that matters when there are elections coming up.
The man has no shame.

Andrew Cuomo is once again hitting New Yorkers’ television sets.
The former governor, who resigned in disgrace last summer, will begin an attempt at a political comeback with an ad claiming he’s been exonerated from charges he sexually harassed multiple women, The Post has learned.
Cuomo’s campaign confirmed it had commissioned “a number of ads” in response to questions from the paper after The Post independently obtained one of the commercials.
The 30-second spot reviewed by The Post selectively strings together snippets from TV reports about the outcomes in those cases to bolster Cuomo’s continued claims of exoneration.
It highlights recent decisions by five district attorneys to not bring charges against Cuomo for sexual harassment for technical reasons.
However, the spot viewed by The Post makes no mention of the fact that those officials also said their investigations affirmed the credibility of the women who brought the allegations – and one DA even said although there wasn’t sufficient “legal basis” to bring charges, dropping the case was “not an exoneration.”
Just amazing.

Tim Balk of the New York Daily News has some bad news for Mr. Cuomo:
The Democrat has claimed he was “vindicated” by five criminal probes that concluded without charges. Prosecutors who declined to charge Cuomo still described finding allegations against him “credible.”
Cuomo’s popularity has plunged following a bombshell state Attorney General’s report in August that found he had sexually harassed at least 11 women, and an Assembly report in November that described the evidence of his sexual misconduct as “overwhelming.”
In a statewide Siena College poll published Tuesday, 33% of voters said they viewed Cuomo favorably and 60% said they viewed him unfavorably. While 25% of the respondents said they believed Cuomo had been vindicated, 56% said they did not.
No one has forgotten a thing.
Andrew Cuomo is trying to rehabilitate his career. Don’t forget there are still many investigations pending into his reckless and deadly leadership. He’s the guy that had his staff write a 5.1 M book in the middle of a pandemic and won an Emmy so this is not surprising.
