Harris Tries to Smooth Things Over After She Didn’t Push Back on Israel Genocide Claim

Iran state media Press TV tweeted and promoted the video of Harris agreeing with the student’s accusations towards Israel.

Harris’s office is doing all it can to smooth things over with Israel defenders after a video showed her nodding in agreement with a student accusing Israel of genocide.

“Your voice, your perspective, your experience, your truth cannot be suppressed, and it must be heard,” Harris told the student.

Iranian state media outlet Press TV tweeted the video. That makes sense since Iran is anti-Israel and Press TV loves promoting anti-Israel propaganda.

One would think the Biden administration would panic and reach out to everyone possible to try to explain that somehow people misconstrued Harris’s words.

Well, Harris’s office reached out to a few groups. But as far as I can tell only a few:

Members of Harris’ staff have been working behind the scenes with pro-Israel groups and lawmakers on damage control, with one senior staff member contacting the Democratic Majority for Israel to reaffirm the vice president’s commitment to the country.

“We were pleased Vice President Harris’s senior staff reached out to us today to confirm what we already knew: Her ‘commitment to Israel’s security is unwavering,’” said Mark Mellman, the group’s president.

A senior adviser also reached out to Rep. Ted Deutch, a Florida Democrat who co-chairs the Bipartisan Anti‐Semitism Taskforce, according to Politico.

Deutch’s office did not respond to a Politico request for comment on the issue, but a source told the outlet that it was “fair to say that the group of House Democrats that super care about this noticed it and talked about it.” The same source said that Harris’ office also reached out to Anti-Defamation League CEO Jonathan Greenblatt on Thursday.

Mellman also said that Harris’s office insists she “strongly disagrees with the George Mason student’s characterization of Israel.”

Then Mellman boasted Biden and Harris “have exemplary pro-Israel records.”

F–K YOU, HARRIS. You cheap, miserable enabler of hate.

#FKH

But the t-shirt set of 2:

#FKH and #IDID!

It is almost impossible to remember all of her lies!

If her lips are moving, she is lying.

Democratic Majority for Israel is happy she confirmed what they already knew??? That she’s committed to Israel?? Lol

Kamala couldn’t even stand up to a 17 HS student.

The moment that girl mentioned how it hurt her heart that we funded the Iron Dome, Kamal should have said “Carr to tell me how many would have died WITHOUT the dome? And WHY do they need the Dome? “

I think Iran gets it – too bad the Jewish democrats don’t want to see what Iran sees.

Political poppycock and everyone knows it.

Perhaps the Jewish American people can wake up and start responding at the voting booth as Hispanics and some Blacks are doing despite what their leftist aligned political arms are hooting about.

Just ask individuals that you know what Harris and Biden would do if they didn’t have enough pushback to apologize. Do they really trust these hypocritical whores to defend the Jewish/Black/Hispanic peoples if there’s not enough political clout in it for the whores (i.e. if the winds of the mob and the popularity shift to disfavor their positions)?

Let’s add American Christians to the list — no Dhimmi-crat gets elected to political office without support from a substantial percentage of their vote. Plain facts and math.

Most “Christians” aren’t very Christian. Do you really think people who go to charismatic or word of faith churches and hear prosperity gospel or “self-help” gimmicks from the likes of Osteen are actually Christian?

The Friendly Grizzly in reply to geronl. | October 2, 2021 at 5:09 pm

How many HUNDREDS of denominations are there for Christianity in this country?

And, which one is “real” Christianity and who decides?

Arminius in reply to guyjones. | October 1, 2021 at 10:13 pm

True. But just like most Jews most Christians have replaced Christ as their God with government. Look at how many so-called Catholics claim they can both be Catholic and pro-abortion (I’m picking on the Catholics, but I don’t see how it’s possible to be Christian in any sense and pro-abortion). No, they can’t; The Catholic catechism is very clear and has been since the very beginning.

        http://www.scborromeo.org/ccc/para/2271.htm

        “CATECHISM OF THE CATHOLIC CHURCH
        SECOND EDITION

2271 Since the first century the Church has affirmed the moral evil of every procured abortion. This teaching has not changed and remains unchangeable. Direct abortion, that is to say, abortion willed either as an end or a means, is gravely contrary to the moral law:

You shall not kill the embryo by abortion and shall not cause the newborn to perish.

God, the Lord of life, has entrusted to men the noble mission of safeguarding life, and men must carry it out in a manner worthy of themselves. Life must be protected with the utmost care from the moment of conception: abortion and infanticide are abominable crimes.

Yet because the Catholic church refuses to do its job and excommunicate Nancy “abortion is sacred ground” Pelosi and other pro-abortion CINOs (guess) like Biden other Catholics think it’s OK. This is worse than heresy; the name for it in Canon Law is scandal. That’s when an individual doesn’t merely develop heretical beliefs and as a result commit mortal sins, but convinces others to do the same.

Another way to tell who is actually a Christian is on the issue of same sex marriage. Again, the Bible is quite clear on this issue. Not only will you find verses strongly condemning homosexual sex (in Leviticus 18 it is termed in Hebrew “toevah,” an abomination) you’ll never find the Bible speaking remotely positively of it. It only speaks positively of heterosexual sex. Jesus had plenty of chances to clear this up if He thought the Jews of his day were getting their Tanakh wrong. For instance, those in the “Gay Christian” movement try to claim that the passages in Leviticus 18 and 20 that condemned homosexuality are only condemning temple prostitution.

As if God in the Old Testament was only angry at the Canaanites on this point because they were worshipping Ba’al and Moloch in a state of ritual impurity.

But if that were the case Jesus had his chance to clear it up if marriage could also include “committed, loving” same sex marriages. But he never did. He only talked about marriage as between a man and a woman. He could have talked about SSM during the Sermon on the Mount but He didn’t. Perhaps His best chance to do so was relayed in Matthew 19:

“19 When Jesus had finished saying these things, he left Galilee and went into the region of Judea to the other side of the Jordan. 2 Large crowds followed him, and he healed them there.

3 Some Pharisees came to him to test him. They asked, “Is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife for any and every reason?”

4 “Haven’t you read,” he replied, “that at the beginning the Creator ‘made them male and female,’[a] 5 and said, ‘ this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh’[b]? 6 So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate.”

7 “Why then,” they asked, “did Moses command that a man give his wife a certificate of divorce and send her away?”

8 Jesus replied, “Moses permitted you to divorce your wives because your hearts were hard. But it was not this way from the beginning. 9 I tell you that anyone who divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, and marries another woman commits adultery.”

The portions I italicized are Jesus citing Genesis. First chapter 1:

“27 So God created mankind in his own image,
        in the image of God he created them;
male and female he created them.

28 God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it.

In other words, God’s plan for creation. Only a heterosexual pair can fulfill it.

The second italicized quote is from Genesis chapter 2, specifically verse 24. But the passage really begins with verse 18:

“18 The Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him.”

Those in the “Gay Christian” movement will place all the emphasis on how God said it isn’t good for the man to be alone. And of course, those nice, loving Christians don’t want a gay man (or woman of course) to be alone for his (her) entire life do they? That would be cruel! Then mistranslate the second sentence as if God said “companion” suitable for him.

But God never said that; He said helper. And why would a man need a helper and not just a companion. Go back to Genesis 1; to be fruitful and multiply. To fulfill God’s plan for creation. Same sex couples can’t do that on their own. A third party needs to be involved. A surrogate mother in the case of gay men, and at least a turkey baster and a man willing to help out by filling it.

Also, the New Testament was written in Greek. The word for “sexual immorality” in Greek is porneia (where we derive the word pornography). It means all forms of sexual immorality. Obviously Jesus wouldn’t have been speaking to other Jews in Judea in Greek; probably the everyday language of Aramaic although perhaps if his audience was limited to Pharisees he might have spoken Hebrew. Whatever the equivalent word was in those languages the message would have been clear. All forms of sexual immorality mentioned in Leviticus, which most definitely included homosexuality.

So pointing this out leads to some name calling, sometimes. Or, worse, these so-called Christians will start denying the divinity of Christ (along with his death by crucifixion and his resurrection the three central tenets of Christianity; deny any of these and you simply aren’t a Christian). How do they deny the divinity of Christ? They’ll say that as a 1st century Jew he couldn’t have possibly known about “committed, loving” same sex relationships.

First of all, they did know all about these. Most obviously, they lived in the Roman Empire. Jews from all over the empire would travel to Jerusalem for religious feasts (many didn’t speak or read Hebrew, which is why Rabbis translated the Hebrew Tanakh into the Greek Septuagint centuries before the time of Christ, which is what the early Christians adopted as their Bible). Long term gay/lesbian relationships weren’t exactly unknown in the Greco/Roman world. But on top of that among first century Rabbis there was a school of thought that perhaps the worst sin the Canaanites committed (remember, toevah?) was they permitted same sex marriage.

As 1st century Jew, Jesus would have been known that. But what the “Gay Christians” are saying when they describe Jesus as merely a 1st century Jew is that He couldn’t possibly have been God since He couldn’t know about that. The attributes of divinity are omnipotence, omnipresence, and omniscience. If Jesus wasn’t all knowing, he wasn’t God.

At that point they’ll rather angrily agree that He wasn’t God then give up their politics. Whether it’s their devotion to same sex marriage or to abortion. Their politics come first.

They’re not Christians; they’re con artists.

“No part of that is true Kamala, and you know it”

I don’t think she even knows what genocide is. She’s about as smart as a box of rocks.

Yeah, she’s definitely an asset for the 2022 midterms. For the Republicans.

E Howard Hunt | October 1, 2021 at 4:02 pm

Oh, Kamala, the doxy who dare not have her name mispronounced. She gets me to thinking about horology, hoards, hoar frost, horticulture, horizons, hormones, horoscopes, horses, horrors and Babylon

The young lady is unaware what morons the Palestinians are, but it’s permitted speech and the government isn’t supposed to be opposing her.

Harris seems to have been saying that, albeit without considering that Jews have a very high verbal IQ and are unusually inclined to whine about things.

“it’s permitted speech and the government isn’t supposed to be opposing her.” I agree that this student presumably had the right to express her opinion (I am not sure of the entire context of her making her comments, and if it was an appropriate time/place), but VP Harris should not have been so supportive of the content of the speech.

I believe that Harris agreed with the anti-Israel sentiments expressed by the student, and I will try to convince my friends and relatives of this. But I have been pointing out the anti-Israeli / anti-Semitic views of the Democrats for 45 years, without persuading my relatives that today’s Democrats are not JFK’s Democrats.

She has a right to her opinion, but it doesn’t need to be psychotically coddled as “speaking her truth”….this is one of the most dangerous ideas running around right now that truth is relative.

Iran promotes video of Kamala Harris praising anti-Israel student:

not all that much difference between Kam-baby and AOC:
a lot of money, a very far-left handler, and an IQ somewhere below 75

Someone should tell Harris that LBJ once said, “You can’t polish a turd”.
