U.S. Army Officer Resigns over Biden’s Vaccine Mandate, ‘Marxist Takeover of the Military’

U.S. Army Officer Resigns over Biden’s Vaccine Mandate, ‘Marxist Takeover of the Military’

Lt Col Paul Douglas Hague listed many reasons for resignation, including ‘complete lack of confidence in the presidential administration’ & infiltration of Marxism.

The combination of critical race theory, the focus on diversity rather than military strategy, and the top brass’ aversion to bad press have certainly corroded morale among US armed forces members.

Of course, General Mark Milley’s reportedly questionable treatment of President Donald Trump and his alleged phone call to Chinese military leaders is probably not helping instill confidence, either.

Now Biden’s vaccine mandate is also inspiring many to reconsider their military career plans, as in Lt. Col. Paul Douglas Hague. He is resigning and forging his pension due to the administration’s rules and the Marxism seeping into the military.

The resignation letter by Lt. Col. Paul Douglas Hague, tweeted out by his wife and shared with Fox News, said he was resigning from the Army after 19 years of service and forgoing his pension primarily because of the Pentagon’s mandatory COVID-19 vaccination order for all U.S. military service members.

“First, and foremost, I am incapable of subjecting myself to the unlawful, unethical, immoral and tyrannical order to sit still and allow a serum to be injected into my flesh against my will and better judgment,” Hague, who is stationed at Fort Bragg in North Carolina, wrote in the letter. “It is impossible for this so-called ‘vaccine’ to have been studied adequately to determine the long-term effects.”

The epic failure in Afghanistan was also on Hauge’s lengthy list of reasons for resignation.

The father of seven went on to blame the Biden administration for the suicide bombings that took place in Kabul and resulted in the death of 13 service members, saying the president also ‘undoubtedly set our nation up for many more attacks both in Afghanistan and within our own borders’.

‘I cannot and will not contribute to the fall of this great nation and its people,’ Hague wrote, adding that he will ‘continue (to) uphold the constitution of the United States’ but can no longer do it while serving in the military as he believes ‘the military is currently being used to the contrary’.

Hague is currently based at Fort Bragg in North Carolina. He joins former Space Force officer and author Mathew Lohmeier in warning of the promotion of Marxism within the American armed forces.

I would like nothing more than to continue in the Army to reach my 20 years of active federal service and retire with my pension.

“However, I instead will join those who have served before me in pledging my Life, my Fortune, and my Sacred Honor to continue resisting the eternal and ever-mutable forms of oppression and tyranny – both from enemies outside our nation‘s borders, and those within.”

It appears that Hague and Lohmeier may be on the leading edge of an unfortunate trend.

Now THAT is integrity and honor. Compared to that, how hard would it be for the rest of us to take off our masks and refuse to be jabbed?

Half of the San Diego police department has taken a hard stand against the jab and willing to be fired or quit over it. Several fire departments are also taking a stand as have medical personnel at several hospitals. There are more and more patriots standing up and choosing which is the bigger risk.

What exactly are these “vaccines” for? What is in them? Why are these Marxists so insistent in defying “the science” and demanding 100% compliance? It can’t be good. Let’s all join in and force the issue.

Instead of resigning, he should stay on his job and refuse the vaccine and take them to court. He took the job under original circumstances…after all those years they are CHANGING THE EMPLOYMENTN AGREEMENT. Sue them.

In court he would have no case at all. There has been no change whatsoever in the terms of his employment. Those terms have always been that he must obey all orders, including orders to be vaccinated with whatever the military thinks he should have.

Think back to the many complaints servicemen made about the drugs and vaccines they were ordered to take in the first Gulf War, to protect them from whatever the enemy might throw at them. None of them succeeded, because they had no merit.

The only court in which this guy has any chance of success is that of public opinion. If enough people are inspired by his example and turn on the administration, it might be frightened into changing its policies.

Unfortunately for the country this news will be music to the ears of the Communists. The US military is being repurposed from defending the country to terrorizing the country.

The next war the military fights will be on American soil – against American citizens deemed to be “white nationalists”. There are no good options for patriots like Hague and Lohmeier. If they stay in the military they will be called upon to butcher their own citizens. If they refuse they will be punished as “racists”. If they resign they become targets of the Communists’ wrath like the rest of us.

Resignations don’t work. They only cede more control to the Marxists I’m not criticizing the decision of this individual, BtW.

I don’t have any good answers, and I don’t think a Gramscian march through the institutions in reverse is a path for conservatives.

But if you are on the inside, you need to start to think about giving up your role as an infiltrator and whether you should give it up.

Study what Erdogan, the Gulenisrs, the AKP … the Chavistas … how did others come to power and what options in democracy.

Study also how Marxists are successfully resisted when in power but not yet “full Soviet” or “ChiCom”

This is about power, about not giving it up, about reclaiming it.

As simple as that.

No. See my reply to Recovering Lutheran.

Honor and integrity matter. Better on our side than with the Marxists. Your Borg option of being assimilated with the enemy is surrendering honor and integrity for what? Never surrender!

What do you think will happen should all of the medical personnel standing fast in resistance be fired? There is already a nursing shortage. Those skills don’t go away. They just go somewhere else. Same with military and police.

I’m 100% with Friendly Grizzly on this one. It makes us stronger against a weakening domestic enemy. Let’s fight the right fight against the right enemy for the right reasons. If we are going to die, let’s not be slaughtered like pigs but die with honor fighting for what we believe in.

More! Faster, please.

Milley should resign!

exactly–many of the progressives/libs throw around the phrase/taunt “is this really the hill you want to die on? ” without having a clue as to the true meaning of the phrase

hemingway wrote a short story titled “the battle on the hilltop” which accurately explains the meaning of the phrase and the ultimate purpose of such a fight–it is not just the details leading to your own death but the conscious and deliberate decision of who you’re taking with you

sincerely hope this honourable man takes a few with him

One swallow does not a summer make. But, this reinforces my opinion of the military. Below flag rank, we have mostly VERY solid people. But, getting that first star requires Senate confirmation. The US Senate is populated by useless, posturing, unaccountable fools and crooks. If you want a star, you have to act like a Senator.

If a corporal loses his Night Vision on patrol, they damned near draw and quarter him. Abandon a whole airfield in the middle of the night? No biggie.

“Perfumed Princes” (David Hackworth, RIP and decidedly NOT a Perfumed Prince.)

We need to fire everyone with a star and promote people with integrity. Like this guy.

No one should resign or quit over a vaccine mandate — wait to be fired/dismissed, and make sure to get a signed, official letter of termination on company stationary *that clearly states the reason* — this will/may be useful later, e.g. for any legal challenge.

People who are being hurt resign. But people who are doing the hurting go on tv and brag about it threatening to do more in the future.

“Below flag rank, we have mostly VERY solid people.”

At the present time it’s probably about 50/50.

The last person who resigned with a reason at 19 years was subject to psychiatric examination- his wife was awarded for less than 5 years of marriage half his military pension having “earned” it….

On another note, happening under the radar of the MSM, junior officers who’ve reached their minimum required service times are leaving in record numbers, personnel with more than 20 who would normally stick around for another tour, maybe even two, are putting in retirement requests, reenlistments are way down, and initial enlistments are way down.

I expect a stop loss order to go into effect within a few months. That’s when we’ll know the military has reached a crisis point.

A true patriot. I don’t know his financial circumstances, but, whatever they are, it can’t be an easy decision to walk away from a pension after almost two decades of service. This is courage and sacrifice, right here.

Another fun fact, junior enlisted who hate the military are now refusing to get vaccinated so that they can get discharged early. They get processed in about a month, and are free, though without their benefits.

Now it turns out that Pelosi and Milley have committed treason – real treason, no hyperbole involved.

Polls be damned, the left is going for broke. Be ready.

Sedition. Let’s not overstate the case.

Sedition if still traitorous and vile. And let’s stick to what we can prove. If, and it’s a big if, we ever get fair election again.
