Google Employee Education Program Teaches That America is a ‘System of White Supremacy’
“extensive racial-reeducation program, based on the core tenets of critical race theory”
Chris Rufo has been a leader in the fight to expose Critical Race Theory in education and corporate America. He recently published a report about tech giant Google and an anti-racist training program for its employees.
It sounds like something straight off a left-wing college campus.

Technology giant Google has launched an “antiracism” initiative that presents speakers and materials claiming that America is a “system of white supremacy” and that all Americans are “raised to be racist.”
I have obtained a trove of whistleblower documents from inside Google that reveal the company’s extensive racial-reeducation program, based on the core tenets of critical race theory—including “intersectionality,” “white privilege,” and “systemic racism.” In a foundational training module called “Allyship in Action,” Google’s head of systemic allyship Randy Reyes and a team of consultants from The Ladipo Group train employees to deconstruct their racial and sexual identities, and then rank themselves on a hierarchy of “power [and] privilege.”
The trainers then instruct the employees to “manage [their] reactions to privilege”—which are likely to include feelings of “embarrassment, shame, fear, [and] anger”—through “body movement,” “deep breathing,” “accessing [their] ‘happy place,’” and “cry[ing].”
The program presents a series of video conversations promoting the idea that the United States was founded on white supremacy.
In one video, Google’s former global lead for diversity strategy, Kamau Bobb—who was later reassigned to a non-diversity-related role at the company after being exposed for writing that Jews have “an insatiable appetite for war and killing”—discussed America’s founding with 1619 Project editor Nikole Hannah-Jones.

In 2015, Google quietly ditched its corporate motto, "Don’t Be Evil." Maybe the company, which has now become the world's library, should revisit that decision.

That’s the Goldilocks theory. Whites didn’t get the most smart genes but got behavioral ones that enable cooperation needed for a free government.
This is funny, because to my mind, the white behavior that most led to American government structure was a sense of personal sovereignty, individualism, independence, and downright cussedness — precisely the opposite of cooperation. Cooperation gets you Japan or the Borg.

As an investor, I find this idiocy extremely frustrating. Tech companies are a must in every investor’s portfolio, and, their track record of returns is undeniably spectacular. But, this “woke” posturing, hostility towards the U.S. and towards non-Leftist viewpoints and opinions, and, attendant totalitarianism and intolerance, is exceedingly nauseating and offensive. Silicon Valley, like the rest of California, leans super-Left; just a fact of life.

Also as an investor, it irks me to have my broker tell me that my portfolio is not performing to benchmark because I’ve asked him not to invest in Google, Facebook, or Twitter. I still don’t understand how it is that the most communist corporations in America are achieving the best returns in the capitalist market. The “woke” nonsense does intrude on business decisions. Alphabet/Google is a case in point. Just one example; there are many more — Google Cloud’s former CEO, Diane Greene, butted heads with Alphabet CEO Sundar Pichai because a slew of Google employees was unhappy that Greene was courting the U.S. Department of Defense as a potential Cloud client, and, made vociferous complaints to management. Note that Amazon Web Services and Microsoft (the two leaders in Cloud computing) both actively courted DoD as a client, with Jeff Bezos (to his credit, in a rare moment of non-wokeness) stating at a D.C. business forum that the U.S. is worth defending, and, needs tech companies to help out, on that score.
So, to recap — a large number of Google employees, some of the most privileged and highly-compensated people on Earth, living in the freest, most prosperous and most fair society on Earth, were upset because their employer wanted to do business with the military arm of their home country.
Henry, I’d submit that you should be invested in these companies. Not only to reap solid returns, but, because as an investor, you (generally, but, not always) have a shareholder vote, and, thus, a voice to express with regard to company policy and management, even if that voice and votes admittedly represent a tiny fraction of company ownership.
