Australia’s Victoria Premier Dan Andrews: ‘We’re Going to Lock Out the Unvaccinated From the Economy’

Australia’s Victoria Premier Dan Andrews: ‘We’re Going to Lock Out the Unvaccinated From the Economy’

The Victorian police cracked down on Orthodox Jews for celebrating Rosh Hashanah. The police literally waited all day outside of the synagogue for the men to emerge.

Look up the words dictator and fascist. You will see a picture of Australian Premier Dan Andrews of Victoria.

The man in charge of the Victorian state said, “We’re going to lock out people who are not vaccinated.”

In other words, get the vaccine or you cannot participate in the economy.

Yeah, this makes sense coming from Andrews. Have you seen the rules in Victoria? I wrote about them in my post on Monday. It’s ridiculous:

You cannot leave your home other than for one of the five following reasons:

  • shopping for necessary goods and services
  • caregiving or compassionate reasons, including medical care or to get a COVID-19 test
  • authorised work (with a permit) or permitted education
  • exercise (once a day for 2 hours)
  • to get a COVID-19 vaccination (provided the distance travelled, and the time taken is no more than is absolutely necessary).

Victoria also has a 9 PM to 5 AM curfew. You cannot travel more than 3.1 miles from your house. You are allowed one buddy outside of your house.

Let’s not forget the “camps” around Australia. Let’s talk about the one in Victoria under Mr. Andrews:

Australia has begun construction on their second COVID-19 quarantine camp, deceptively called “Melbourne’s Centre for National Resilience.” It’s down the road from Melbourne Airport, known locally as Tullamarine Airport, which serves the city of Melbourne, and is Australia’s second-busiest airport.

The 1,000-bed quarantine facility will be finished by the end of the year but will be operational as soon as it can accommodate 500 beds. It will have the ability to add room for an additional 3,000 beds if needed.

The holding pen is being modeled on the Howard Springs Centre for National Resilience. Australian authorities have found that quarantine camps are more successful than hotels, many of which were found to have substandard ventilation. Australian authorities claim high viral loads have caused “COVID leakage,” which resulted in the government declaring a stage-four lockdown of 6 million people in the Australian state of Victoria. Only three of 19 hotels considered as possible quarantine quarters were equipped with the necessary ventilation.

At least Andrews is honest about his thirst for power:

Speaking on Sunday as the state reports 183 new local cases, Andrews doubled down on his prediction of a “pandemic of the unvaccinated”.

He said those who choose not to be vaccinated were “making the wrong choice”.

“We’re going to move from a system where we’ve got everyone locked down to a situation where, to protect the health system, we’re going to lock out people who are not vaccinated and can be,” he said.

“This becomes absolutely a pandemic of the unvaccinated and, when we open everything up, it’s not going to be safe for people who are not vaccinated to be roaming around the place spreading the virus.”

Do we need more proof? How about the crackdown on Orthodox Jews during Rosh Hashanah? (Gee, that sounds like something we’ve seen in New York City in the past year!)

Police arrested six adults after they attended a Rosh Hashanah celebration with up to 30 people:

Police have fined six adults $5452 each, totalling $32,712, for attending a gathering of up to 30 people to mark the Jewish holiday of Rosh Hashanah, in breach of lockdown restrictions.

Assistant Commissioner Russell Barrett said there will be more fines issued “today or in coming days”, as he urged those who attended the gathering to come forward.

“My advice is really clear to the people who were there last night – come forward, identify yourselves and allow us to process you through our systems and apply the law as it is today,” he said.

ALLOW US TO PROCESS YOU. It is way too Orwellian for me. This is Dystopian stuff right here. LEGIT FASCISM.

The police literally stalked the members:

Members of the Orthodox Jewish congregation entered a building, believed to be a prayer room, near a Ripponlea synagogue early on Tuesday morning and told police they wouldn’t leave until nightfall.

Police surrounded the front and back entrances of the building and took details of those who began to file out just after 8pm.

Initial reports suggested up to 100 people had attended.

Mr Barrett said the number is still being investigated, but he’s been advised it was “between 20 and 30” people.

Several worshippers became aggressive and an overnight news cameraman is being treated for a concussion at The Alfred after being assaulted.

The police are staying in the area until Rosh Hashanah ends on Wednesday at sundown.

So what exactly is in these “vaccines” that don’t work? And why is it so important to kill a virus that is now no more dangerous than the common cold? And why is it so important to “vaccinate” children where the death rate is zero? Pardon me if I am paranoid about what our suddenly irrational, incompetent and evil government is up to.

Pasadena Phil: And why is it so important to kill a virus that is now no more dangerous than the common cold?

COVID-19 is much more dangerous than the flu, and is still killing a thousand a day in the U.S., or about 0.8% of new cases (keeping in mind that deaths lag cases).

You’re not paranoid. Are you familiar with the Nuremberg Code? We are told that these mRNA jabs are vaccines. They are not per the CDC’s own definition of what constitutes a vaccine. Per the CDC a vaccine is a “suspension of live (usually attenuated) or inactivated microorganisms (e.g. bacteria or viruses) or fractions thereof administered to induce immunity and prevent infectious diseases and their sequelae.” The definition of vaccine goes on to state that a vaccine contains antigens. Antigens are defined as “foreign substances (e.g. bacteria or viruses) in the body that are capable of causing disease.”

What’s in these nRNA jabs that our governments are lying to us about by calling them vaccines. Per the Moderna website, “Every cell in your body uses mRNA, which gives instructions to make the proteins your body needs.” Obviously if every cell in your body uses mRNA (because it produces nRNA naturally) it is not a foreign substance capable of causing disease. Therefore these jabs do not contain antigens, and therefore are not vaccines. These pharmaceutical companies don’t hide this fact.

“The Moderna COVID‑19 Vaccine uses mRNA to provide a blueprint for your cells to build your body’s defense against SARS‑CoV‑2, the virus that causes COVID‑19. The Moderna COVID‑19 Vaccine does not contain SARS‑CoV‑2, or any virus—just the blueprint to help fight against it.”

On another page Moderna elaborates on what it means by “blueprint.” It is a genetically engineered “program” or “app” that theoretically tells the ribosome (which produces proteins within the cells) to produce a certain protein; antibodies, in this case antibodies to theoretically fight Covid 19, being such a protein.

    “Our Operating System
Recognizing the broad potential of mRNA science, we set out to create an mRNA technology platform that functions very much like an operating system on a computer. It is designed so that it can plug and play interchangeably with different programs. In our case, the “program” or “app” is our mRNA drug – the unique mRNA sequence that codes for a protein.”

We are all participating in a gigantic genetic experiment. Which is why the governments are lying to us and telling us we are receiving “vaccines” when we are not. And that we are going to get “booster shots” when we are not; using Moderna’s own terminology we will be getting “software upgrades” to the “programs” or “apps we have already received.

This clearly violates the Nuremberg code. Leftist propagandists are claiming it doesn’t. They claim that the Nuremberg Code only prohibits medical experimentation, and once a “vaccine” has passed “clinical trials” and has been “approved” then the Nuremberg Code no longer applies. But remember, the Nuremberg Code was written before the Nazi (and Japanese) medical experiments on unwilling subjects. All any country has to do now is what our CDC has done. Simply give an Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) and claim it’s approved. And also rewrite their own protocols for clinical trials and claim the experimental drug is no longer experimental. Of course, we are the experiment. The fact is the CDC allowed human trials to proceed in parallel with animal testing. This violates the Nuremberg Code. Also the individual has to consent to the experiment. This requires being fully informed of the risk, and no coercion.

We can’t be fully informed of the risk if we are being lied to about these being vaccines when they are not. We can’t be fully informed of the risk when there has never been an mRNA “vaccine” before late 2020. Absolutely no one knows what the long term effects of this mRNA technology will be. For instance preliminary data indicates that using laboratory-engineered mRNA to artificially boost the production of one type of protein suppresses the cell’s ability to produce the proteins the naturally produced mRNA is trying to tell the ribosome to produce.

I expect leftist propagandists to come along claim this isn’t true. Again, I have data that this could be occurring. Not conclusive data, just preliminary. And they have zero, zip, nada data that I’m just flat WRONG! Frankly, these mRNA drugs fit the definition of a medical device, not vaccine.

I fully expect the CDC to change its semantics; they’ll simply change their self-serving definitions of vaccine, and claim, “See, it’s safe.” Then continue with the experimental “gene therapy” (which is what Moderna calls its mRNA technology on its patent application documents). After all, that’s what Fauci did when it came to his own self-serving gain-of-function definition so he could lie to all of including Congress the NIAID he headed wasn’t funding gain-of-function experiments in Wuhan.

Allowing an apparatchik like Fauci to be in charge of crafting definitions to serve his own interests is like putting the Mafia in charge of the definition of what constitutes a RICO violation.

Arminius in reply to Arminius. | September 9, 2021 at 1:57 am

Did I call it, or did I call it?

The CDC just changed the the definition of vaccine from, “A product that stimulates a person’s immune system to produce immunity to a specific disease” to, “A preparation that is used to stimulate the body’s immune response against diseases.” Note they dropped the word immunity because, as Pasadena Phil notes, these mRNA concoctions don’t f***ing do that. They don’t work. That’s even more apparent in the change to the definition of vaccination.

The definition of vaccination has changed from, “The act of introducing a vaccine into the body to produce immunity to a specific disease” to, “The act of introducing a vaccine into the body to produce protection from a specific disease.”

This is precisely what I told you a country would do if they wanted to violate the Nuremberg Code; they’d simply play word games. OK, the Nuremberg Code prohibits experimenting on people. The leftist propagandists claim that what this country, and others (looking at you, Australia) isn’t an experiment. The leftist propagandists claim that there’s nothing to the “misinformation” that no one is being forced against their will to take part in an experiment because these are simply “vaccines” (as we’ve always understood them), that they’ve been through “clinical trials” and that they have been “approved” and deemed “safe.”

Well, they aren’t vaccines since they don’t contain antigens, foreign substances (bacteria or viruses) capable of causing disease, but in an attenuated or inactivated form so that these microorganisms stimulate an immune response. Now, they are doubly not vaccines because they don’t produce immunity anyway. Which is what a vaccine had to do from until the late 18th century until Biden became President. Now they merely provide “protection.”

Sure, this gene therapy doesn’t provide you with immunity to the disease it’s intended to protect you from (they haven’t changed the definition of immunity YET; immunity still is defined as being able to be exposed to a disease without catching it). But, hey, if you get the mRNA jab you’re not immune but you’ll catch a milder form of Covid.

And the milder form of Covid means you won’t be too sick to go to work, but you’ll still be sick enough to infect others. So wear a mask, everybody! Forever. And don’t forget your “software updates” which they are lying about booster shots. So that Moderna, Pfizer, et al, can use you to fiddle with their “mRNA platform that functions very much like an operating system in a computer” so they can upgrade that “program” or “app” they injected into your cells.

Now, all they have to do is adjust their clinical trial protocols, which they’ll also do in the dark of night, so that the fact they violated their own protocols already can be memory holed, and then simply declare that these “mRNA platforms” have been “approved” for general use.

Then they can coerce you to take the jab.

As I said, the Nuremberg Code was adopted after WWII in response to what the Nazis had done during WWII. But they weren’t the only country that had experimented on people either against their will or without their informed consent.

Not to go all #BLM, since as a constitutional republic this country was head and shoulders above leftist tyrannies like Nazi Germany. As Joe Louis said when he forewent his boxing career to serve in the Army during WWII, “Ain’t nothing wrong with America that Hitler will fix.” Nor am I suggesting that if you took a deep dive into the history of any country regardless of racial or ethnic make-up you won’t find things as bad or worse than the Tuskegee experiment that still don’t approach the atrocities the Nazis and Japanese Imperialists inflicted on their prisoners. But the history of any country isn’t all sweetness and light.

“The Tuskegee Study of Untreated Syphilis in the Negro Male was an observational study on African-American males in Tuskegee, Alabama between 1932 and 1972. The U. S. Public Health Service ran this study on more than 300 people without notifying the participants about their disease nor treating them even after the introduction of penicillin. The study included recording the progress of disease and performing an autopsy on the deaths…”

Again, all any country now has to do is play the word games the CDC is doing with long and well understood definitions, as Fauci is doing with the definition of “gain-of-function,” and they can claim they’re not doing exactly what they would have doing up to the second they changed the definitions.

      Dr. Mengele smiles.

Arminius in reply to Arminius. | September 9, 2021 at 2:16 am

I just took screen shots of the relevant sections of the CDC’s glossary of terms. They will get around to changing the definitions on every page on their site eventually, then try to gaslight everyone that they haven’t changed anything and we all must be imaging things.

Like the climate catastrophe hoaxters, who claimed in Y2K in the UK Independent that “Soon, Snowfall Will Be A Thing Of The Past,” according to the geniuses at the University of East Anglia Climate Research Unit (UEA CRU). The geniuses who conspired to give us the infamous “hockey stick” with a professor at the University of Pennsylvania. In ten years, they predicted (2010 for you leftists who can’t do math or anything else for that matter except emote and throw tantrums), children wouldn’t know what snow was, except a very rare and exciting event. After the UK suffered through nearly 10 arctic winters, they changed their tune to, “We ALWAYS told you that climate change would produce heavier snowfalls.”

Corrupt soviet-style apparatchiki like Fauci are only good for tow things. And one of those things is CYA.

Arminius in reply to Arminius. | September 9, 2021 at 3:34 am

I couldn’t help but keep thinking about this. Recall back in 2020, between June and November, the World Health Organization (WHO) also began changing definitions. They changed the definition of herd immunity, which in June “the indirect protection from an infectious disease that happens when a population is immune either through vaccination or through previous infection.”

By November the WHO dropped naturally acquired immunity through previous infection entirely from their definition from herd immunity. Now herd immunity could only be achieved “if a threshold of vaccination is achieved. Herd immunity is achieved by protecting people from a virus, not by exposing them to it.”

This is insane on many levels. First, look at the definitions I provided from the CDC’s own glossary of terms. A vaccine is defined as a “A suspension of live (usually attenuated) or inactivated microorganisms (e.g. bacteria or viruses) or fractions thereof administered to induce immunity and prevent infectious diseases and their sequelae.” In other words, an actual vaccine works precisely because it exposes your body to the virus or bacteria, the antigen, that causes disease albeit in attenuated or inactivated form. JUST LIKE NATURAL IMMUNITY, except a vaccine never works as well as your body’s own immune system.

Now the CDC has changed its definition of vaccination as something that doesn’t even produce immunity. Ah, you’ll simply get less sick if you’re vaccinated. Meh, close enough for government work, the CDC now tells us. It will provide some protection from the harsher effects.

So will a lot of other treatments, which is what this experimental gene therapy can best be described as, after of course a medical device. MRNA doesn’t expose you to the virus that causes Covid 19 (Moderna, again, boasts about that on the link I provided to its website). It’s not an actual vaccine.

This exposes another Fauci/WHO lie. If herd immunity can only be achieved by vaccination, and now OBTW the mRNA jab which isn’t a vaccine can’t be expected to actually provide immunity, we’ll never get to herd immunity. So it’s masks forever. Perpetual lockdowns. Destroyed economies. F***ing martial law in Australia. No constitutional rights. You can’t participate in the economy or travel unless you bend the knee and get your internal passports just like in the old USSR, North Korea, or, bye the bye, the PRC where this perpetual, never-ending-by-design pandemic was engineered. With the help of St. Dr. Fauci and his NIAID that funded the engineering.

Does anyone think that this is by accident? There is now no such thing as herd immunity according to the “public health experts.” WHO do you think these traitors are actually working for?

Yes, those questions were rhetorical. We know whose payroll these traitors are on from “the big guy” President Jao Bai Jien courtesy of his crack addict son on down.

Shoot. I bolded microorganism without defining it. It’s simply a living organism that is so small it can only be seen through a microscope. Simple enough, but I know leftist propagandist will claim that mRNA can constitute a microorganism. It can not. MRNA is not a living organism on it’s own. Microorganisms can exist as a single cell or a colony of cells. Each cell will have components (nucleus, organelles, etc.). But a component of a cell is not on it’s own a microorganism.

Again, mRNA technology is not a vaccine. But that will not stop us from the left lying to us that is.

North Korea…the most restrictive, totalitarian, oppressive government in tbe world…Australia, hold my beer.

Xi and the rest of the Chinese Communist Party members must be laughing uproariously as they watch how western leaders have decimated their economies, destroyed millions of lives and businesses and morphed into obnoxiously, brazenly and unabashedly totalitarian caudillos, as a result of the Wuhan virus bioweapon. What a spectacular return-on-investment for a weapon whose R&D budget was probably no more than $15 t0 $20 million.

The great megapolises of the outback built by aborigines have taken up every square foot of usable space to the point where it’s not safe to even throw a boomerang. Kangarooes must be kept on a leash and young coming of age aborigines must do a walkabout in the park. Rescue dogs have to be euthanized and don’t get me started on the dang dingoes.

The people are allowing their government to do this to them. You just can’t blame the politicians. For example, the police could simply refuse to enforce this crap, but they chose to enforce it. When elections come, the people could resolve to not vote for these tyrants, bit I think they will. That’s how they got there in the first place.

The people get the government they deserve. If they are good with ineptitude, stupidity, and tyranny, that’s what they get, each and every time.

I concur. The Wuhan virus bioweapon response has been instructive on numerous levels. The primary lesson is that personal freedoms are not as widely valued/cherished/appreciated in the west, as many have assumed. Indeed, we are witnessing that an apparent majority of Leftists/Dhimmi-crats consciously desire to have their lives micromanaged and controlled by a ruling class of totalitarian apparatchiks. Which gives credence to the notion that totalitarianism only succeeds as an ideology, if it has a critical mass of citizens supporting it.

Arminius in reply to guyjones. | September 8, 2021 at 2:46 pm

I originally didn’t believe that the Wuhan virus was a bioweapon. But then I was thinking of traditional battlefield bioweapons. I’ve changed my mind. This is the most effective political and economic bioweapon ever engineered. The PRC’s CCP always bragged it was going to export its political, social, and economic systems to other countries. And the Wuhan virus did just that, as their willing accomplices did just that. Up to and including the CCP’s social credit system.

The wuhan virus was developed in a Biosafety Level 4 Laboratory where the workers wear suits that make them look like astronauts. But I’m supposed to protect myself from catching it by standing 6 feet away and wearing a peice of gauze over my nose.

Good for you for coming to your own conclusions.

The factual and circumstantial evidence is overwhelming. China’s increasing unabashed, unrestrained and brazen belligerence and bellicosity in foreign affairs and military posture is the most obvious foundational evidence, before even taking into account lab/biological/epidemiological evidence. It’s also naive, I think, to believe that the Chinese communists didn’t shrewdly analyze the Dhimmi-crats’/Deep State’s/Media’s persistent and obsessive Trump-hatred and lawless efforts to constantly sabotage and undermine his presidency, and, realize that they could manipulate the situation to their advantage.

Arminius in reply to guyjones. | September 8, 2021 at 8:35 pm

It wasn’t just the left’s hatred of Trump. The left has always hated our constitutional system, that we’re therefore a nation of laws in which the left can not simply impose it’s will like the CCP in China, and consequently hates the American people who can and will stand in their way. They have thus openly admired communist dictatorships for decades. Let Thomas Friedman, NYT CCP-loving opinion writer, explain:

Thomas Friedman actually thinks Uighur concentration camps, or he glosses over it “bad stuff with the Uighurs,” is a small price to pay to ram his preferred policies such as bullet trains, the green new deal, gun confiscation, etc. No, really.

        More here:

“New York Times columnist Thomas Friedman, the supposedly “moderate” voice among liberalism’s brigades, has come out and openly advocated what environmentalists were previously afraid to say aloud.

Namely, that America should suspend our democratic, Constitutional principles and become “China for a day.”

Friedman makes this astounding recommendation in his latest book, ominously entitled Hot, Flat, and Crowded: Why We Need a Green Revolution – and How It Can Renew America.

…Even more ominously, Friedman includes a chapter entitled China for a Day, in which he praises China’s authoritarian system and asserts that America would be better by imitating it. But only when it suits his agenda, of course. If that sounds unbelievable, consider his own words:

‘Because once the directions are given from above, we would be overcoming the worst part of our democracy (the inability to make big decisions in peacetime), and the very next day we would be able to enjoy the best part of our democracy (the power of our civic society to make government rules stick and the power of our markets to take advantage of them).’

Goodbye, James Madison. Hello, Chairman Mao….”

Of course, now that we’re in the 18th month of “14 days to flatten the curve” we’d never be “China for a day.” Just as they aim to make us Covidstan forever we’d be communist China in perpetuity.

“But Mr. Friedman got rather creepy in this part of the interview in which he would like to see the United States be like China for a day – ironic given the flack that the current administration has received for their secretive, imposed energy policies with corporate big wigs:

‘MR. FRIEDMAN: Well, it comes from actually a dialogue I had with Jeffrey Immelt, the CEO of General Electric, and Jeff was making the point that, you know, really almost out of exasperation of a company that’s been trying to be an energy innovative leader, saying, “Look, Tom, we need is”–what Jeff said is we need a president who’s going to set the right price for carbon. Set the right standard, set the right regulation. Shape the market so it will be innovative. Everyone will kind of whine and moan for a month and then the whole ecosystem will take off. And I thought about that afterwards and I said to him, “You know, Jeff, what you’re really saying is, `If only we could be China for a day. Just one day.'” So I wrote a chapter called “China for a day, but not for two.” Really, about what we would do if for one day we could impose, cut through all the lobbyists, all the amendments, all the earmarks, and actually impose the right conditions to get our market to take off.'”

Yes of course. Only smart central planners like the ones they have in Beijing can set the right conditions for the markets to really take off. This is of course nuts because central planning never does that. But it appeals to the totalitarian urge in leftists who think only if they were in charge (and especially leftists in the media and academy who hate the fact they have no political power) they could make things work. And we’d just bitch and whine for a month about how we’ve been reduced from free citizens to state slaves (the cold war term for the inmates of the communist prison states [who’s up for lockdowns!]) but once those markets start taking off, we’d just love our new overlords.

I mean, just look at how the inmates of North Korea cried and shrieked and rent their clothes when their Great Leader and then the Dear Leader died. Thomas Friedman and his ilk want us to love them as much. And they’re willing to use the exact same totalitarian methods to get it.

Arminius in reply to guyjones. | September 8, 2021 at 8:41 pm

I meant to add, it really wasn’t too hard for the CHICOMs to figure out what their admirers in the American, Australian, and European left would do if given the chance. The CCP didn’t have to manipulate anything; our leftist traitors like Friedman have been saying loud and clear what they would do if given the chance.

Hence the political/economic bioweapon Covid. This is why I originally didn’t understand how it could possibly be a bioweapon. Children don’t die of it. Military age males don’t die from it. In fact, even including the most vulnerable; the elderly and those with comorbidities, the survival rate is over 99%.

Then I realized it kills 100% of constitutional republics and free market economies infected with the comorbidity of the West-hating commie-loving western left.

All good points. It’s notable, isn’t it, that the two intrinsically totalitarian ideologies that present the greatest threat to the U.S. and to secular democracies, worldwide — Chinese communism and the ideology of “Submission” — are both ideologies that boast glaring and intrinsic pathologies that the vile Dhimmi-crats have persistently and consistently whitewashed, rationalized, romanticized and excused. Something about the Dhimmi-crat ethos prevents Dhimimi-crats from explicitly condemning totalitarianism, in all its manifestations.

The people of Australia have two choices: submit to this fascism or rebel and rise up. Choose wisely. You choice will have repercussions for decades.

How do we stop this?

It’s far beyond time to utilize our last option.

“Pubs and restaurants all shut as you cannot visit. Businesses collapsing.

“They have vehicle registration plate recognition through out Aussie. State Police have scanners in their vehicles and if they pick up driving past someone who is not from that area they stop them and fine them.

One big takeaway in stories like this one: the eagerness of the police to roust people, fine them, arrest them, and abuse them. I bet if you coughed, you’d be shot, and it would be justified.

Brave Sir Robbin in reply to Leslie Eastman. | September 8, 2021 at 10:15 am

Then the people should perhaps do something about it – or submit. It’s not actually an easy choice. Consequences of resistance, even peaceful protest, as given the nature of the rules is illegal, can result in loss of job and income, heavy fines, imprisonment, and physical harm.

You must understand that one of the biggest controls totalitarians place on people is to threaten their families. Many people are willing to suffer personal consequences, but when they must also sacrifice their wives, children, and parents, it becomes a very difficult decision. And to be sure, loss of your income, fines levied against your person, and/or imprisonment surely affects your family.

This is why revolutionaries tend to be young, unmarried and childless.

If the Australian people want their freedom back, they will need to assert themselves and take it back.

Quarantine camps.

Remember the days when attending summer camp was for fun? Apparently, in Australia, it’s only fun for the guards.

If the jackboot fits …

Here we call them FEMA camps. Are they ever used for anything? What are the emergencies anticipated? They certainly would be good relocation centers for the homeless population around here.

randian in reply to irv. | September 8, 2021 at 12:52 pm

Given Andrews’ rhetoric it’s only a matter of time before those camps become internment camps for the noncompliant. Making vaccination disclosure to the government mandatory gave them a hit list of the “problematic”.

The lockout he speaks of won’t end at “can’t go to the pub”. Can’t go to the grocery store is next. Forcibly pushing the unvaccinated out of their jobs follows shortly thereafter.

The Britsh created the modern concentration camps in ZA during the Boer War. Must be a genetic inheritance for the present OZ admin. Covid will never do away…. this is the permanent “gift” of the CCP. Stopping the unstoppable… only in their dreams and the peoples’ nightmares.

Capsaicin_Addict | September 8, 2021 at 9:09 am

No commentary on the Australian truckers’ strike? I hear that’s starting to cause some grief.

    TrickyRicky in reply to Capsaicin_Addict. | September 8, 2021 at 9:43 am

The worldwide “news media” has put a firm lid on this story. I have seen photos on the interwebs of utterly empty shelves in grocery stores. I’m not sure which city was depicted. I hope the truckers can pull this off. A couple of weeks might do it, although I would anticipate bloodshed when the military is brought in to move the trucks.

It’s hard to decide whether it’s more disheartening that the Australian government imposes this insanity, the Australian people tolerate it, or the Australian police and military willingly enforce it.

There needs to be a lot of re-examination of emergency powers laws at all levels of government.

If you “lock” people out of the economy, you just create an alternate economy, an underground economy, like so many other underground economies, like the underground market for Levi jeans in the soviet union. People will get what they need with or without government permission.

Brave Sir Robbin in reply to Guardian79. | September 8, 2021 at 10:22 am

Underground economies are inefficient, mostly, and create significant cost hurdles. It certainly is not a preferred solution, but, yes, this will be encouraged. Nonetheless, people often do not get what they need without government permission. Mass starvation in tyrannies posit irrefutable data points in this regard.

caseoftheblues in reply to Brave Sir Robbin. | September 8, 2021 at 11:13 am

I have watched in shock the videos showing the Aussie police enthusiastically beat, kick, break down doors, point guns at, tackle, tear gas, rip families apart etc of their fellow citizens and neighbors including children. That question we always couldn’t quite wrap our heads around in school…”How could Nazi Germany have ever happen?”…..getting answered in real time.

The Friendly Grizzly in reply to caseoftheblues. | September 8, 2021 at 5:31 pm

“I have watched in shock the videos showing the Aussie police enthusiastically beat, kick, break down doors, point guns at, tackle, tear gas, rip families apart etc of their fellow citizens and neighbors including children”

Given the chance, our LEOs will do the same, and gladly.

Agree that it is inefficient in some respects, but also more efficient. Look at the MJ trade prior to legalization. There were no regulations to follow and no taxes. Even in post-legalization, there is an underground economy because some producers don’t want to deal with regulation and onerous taxes, and there are customers because there is a price difference and convenience difference.

Brave Sir Robbin in reply to Guardian79. | September 8, 2021 at 12:20 pm

If MJ were completely unregulated, it would be essentially free as it grows in the necessary quantities for personal use just about anywhere. The government regulation then does impose significant costs in the black market The government is creating incentive to further regulate producers as it wants higher prices and distribution via taxable entities all for the sake of revenue. However, because of its nature, it is a weed indeed, this will always be difficult to do. As a result, I do not think producers and distributors will ever have unfettered markets, and a black market will always exist since production costs are actually so low.

Creating and participating in an underground economy will be difficult when you can be physically prevented from interacting with others. A digital economy can’t produce food, among other necessities.

Not even the Soviet Union tried to lock everyone in their own house.

Australia started out as a penal colony and apparently will end as one.

Just wait for Biden’s “6” prong BS

The Australians have a choice to make. IMO, the better course is to impede this tyranny when and where possible in small ways. A death by a thousand cuts strategy. Then vote out the authoritarians.

The other two options are lay back and let it happen unimpeded or a mass civil disobedience. Large scale disobedience seems a bad option based on the willingness of LEO to support heavy handed tactics of the regime during their protests.

If they still have elections, the people need to vote all these people out and put them on trial.

Never underestimate the powerful allure of “safetyism”, and the incredibly bad choices it can convince people to make. In its own way safetyism is as deadly as heroin, since it can make the Karens – the high priests and priestesses of safetyism – feel really good about themselves while destroying the lives of everyone involved.

Milhouse in reply to geronl. | September 9, 2021 at 9:53 am

The vast majority of voters support all these measures. Victorian premier Andrews would be returned in a landslide, because he “has the guts to do what’s necessary”. The federal government and NSW state government, which are from the right, would probably lose an election to the left, not because they’re too tough but because they’re not tough enough. What the people seem to really want is a Mussolini.

Seems like the Premier read Revelations as a how-to guide…

The Kangaroos and the Kiwis seem to be going crazy over this. Is there something about the South Pacific?

Hey Dan, do you like insurrection?
Because this is how you get more insurrection.

The politicians in Australia and New Zealand believe that “zero covid” is possible. But that pesky virus can only temporarily be held at bay, and then only with lockdowns and law enforcement.

Eventually Victoria and New Zealand will see a tide of coronavirus infections because the whole world is infected. Their measures are only ruining their economies and destroying lives.

How long before the people and the politicians realize this?

Way past time to start hanging these bastards from lamp posts.

There is only one way to deal with tyrants like this. It is permanent and should never be needed in Western society. But the Tree of Liberty in Australia is apparently lacking water.

To deal with tyrants that way while they enjoy the support of the vast majority would be to impose tyranny. They would rise up against you, because they like their tyrants. Until the people turn against them your solution is no solution. Therefore the first step is to turn the people against them, and that’s a long and difficult slog with no guarantee of success until it’s too late.

felixrigidus in reply to Milhouse. | September 9, 2021 at 3:04 pm

You are quite right about the fact that an astonishingly high percentage of the people in most Western countries seem to be complacent or even supporting the tyrannical measures politicians of all stripes seem to favor.
Let us hope that despite sophisticated propaganda and plain fearmongering (for example via mask mandates designed and intended to cow the populace into compliance) it will not take several generations and countless millions of death until these dictators are deposed.
Still, tyrants need to be deposed.

Subotai Bahadur | September 8, 2021 at 5:25 pm

I would say that Australia and New Zealand have proved themselves unworthy of being part of what is regarded as the Free World, except the United States is working real hard to not be part of it anymore either. This is not going to end well or tidily. Used to think well of Aussies and Kiwis. Not anymore, ever.

Subotai Bahadur

The prison of NSW health authorities are now limiting home-confined Australians to 6 beers or 1 bottle of wine/spirits per day. All in the name of COVID or something…

Milhouse in reply to geronl. | September 9, 2021 at 10:45 am

Not true. People isolating at home can have as much alcohol delivered as they like. The police have no authority to limit them. But people who are being isolated in government-run facilities are a different story. Incoming deliveries to those facilities are being searched and if someone seems to be getting more alcohol than the agency running the facilities think is good for them, the excess is being confiscated. I can’t even say that’s wrong, though it isn’t freedom.

Think of someone being held as a material witness, or in protective custody, or a sequestered jury. They’re all innocent and free people, and yet they are subject to certain restrictions, and I doubt any of them would be allowed to have massive amounts of alcohol delivered to them.

I don’t know if I could prevent myself from shooting these wannabe concentration camp guards. With a good rifle you could hit most all of them beyond 300 yards.

Milhouse in reply to ray. | September 9, 2021 at 10:47 am

You could do that, but you’d be taken down, hard, with the full support of pretty much the entire population. And made an example of, so nobody else would try it.

Victoriastan is Australia’s most Marxist state, also the state with the vast majority of China Flu fatalities ~ 80%+ from memory. True it’s nowhere near as bad as Texas, but Texas is nowhere as bad as Democrat states like New York or New Jersey – you need to compare apples to apples. Again from memory, Victoriastan has had about 1 fatality per 8,000 residents, Texas 1 per 550 residents, and the likes of New York or New Jersey 1 per 350 residents. Australia has chosen a zero cases model, doesn’t have plague carrying illegals crossing its borders, and didn’t have an opposition that screamed racism at the thought of cutting international travel. As to what will happen in the future, that’s still to be discovered, though tolerance towards those who can’t or won’t vaccinate appears to be limited. Second class citizens coming soon?

“Australian authorities have found that quarantine camps are more successful than hotels, many of which were found to have substandard ventilation.”

They also would’ve involved substantial and expensive renovation to make their showers gas tight.

Assuming we are not destroyed as in those who are critically minded — the books written about this are going to be awesome. Let’s hope we read them and learn something from them — although cynically — I fear this won’t happen.

Injecting every member of society with the same experimental anything is a very good way to commit civilizational suicide.

Anyone who doesn’t think the public/private partnership that’s un-masked itself here in the USA over the last 2 yrs. isn’t going to employ these same radical fascist principals here in America is hopelessly Näive.

“… it’s not going to be safe for people who are not vaccinated to be roaming around the place spreading the virus.”

It is only people who are infected with Covid who can spread it, and those who are psuedo-vaccinated with the pseudo-vaccines get infected with and spread the new Covid strains just as readily as the unvaccinated.

And oh yeah, it is inside the bodies of the pseudo-vaccinated that the new strains evolve and emerge. But no, that does not mean that they are the real pestilence.

The only real pestilence is the Fauci-CCP19 virus itself and these evil moron politicians like Dan Andrews who betray every scientific and medical principle in order to exploit a disease for totalitarian power.

About that synagogue siege: In the end they only managed to get the names of six people, who will be fined $5500 each. Everyone else got away free. Those young enough to manage it escaped through the roof, and then a disturbance was created a short distance away which allowed the older congregants to sneak out undetected.

Meanwhile there were quite a number of other underground Rosh Hashana services operating in private homes, and thankfully none of them were caught, despite a massive police presence in the entire neighborhood.

The police were stopping anyone who looked like a religious Jew and questioning them (knowing damned well that they were likely to be going to one of these illegal synagogues, or at least to know where one was being held) but nobody was caught.

It’s like the USSR.

We’ll see what happens on Yom Kippur.

Oh, and one reporter was roughed up. The news media are being absolute pests to the Jewish community, stalking people, staking out homes, and someone finally had enough.

The main religious obligation of Rosh Hashana is to hear the shofar being blown. This is a Biblical obligation, which means it overrides pretty much any consideration except an imminent threat to ones life. If these restrictions were really necessary to stop people literally dying, then that would override the obligation to hear the shofar, but nothing short of that does. So if it were impossible for Melbourne Jews to hear the shofar legally, every observant adult would be required to hear it illegally, and to bear whatever legal consequences resulted.

Thankfully the government did propose a solution that worked for both sides: people are allowed out for two hours’ exercise a day. And there’s no rule preventing them from blowing horns as they do so. Nor are there rules preventing other people out for their exercise from stopping to listen. So that’s what they proposed, and the community accepted. It’s far from ideal, but it allowed everyone who needed to hear a shofar to do so without being arrested.

(The services being held illegally in private homes were of necessity small and secret, and most people who would have liked to attend were unable to. But that’s not a strict obligation; if one can’t make it to a synagogue one can pray at home. The sticking point was the shofar, since not everyone has one, or knows how to blow it.)

CaptTee in reply to Milhouse. | September 9, 2021 at 12:43 pm

Don’t they have Zoom or FaceBook Live services?

Milhouse in reply to CaptTee. | September 9, 2021 at 6:39 pm

No, that’s not a feasible solution for a number of reasons.

      1. One must hear a shofar blown, not an electronic instrument that merely sounds like one. When you hear a shofar blown on Zoom, what you’re hearing is your computer’s speaker, which is not a shofar.

      2. Prayer is required, when at all possible, to be done communally, with a quorum of ten adult Jewish men. In the absence of a quorum one can pray anyway, but certain key parts must be omitted. Also, God does not listen to it directly; the angels convey it to Him — except on the ten days from Rosh Hashana to Yom Kippur, when God listens directly to all prayers, even from individuals. So ironically communal prayer is less important this week than usual, but it’s still important.

      3. On the sabbath and festivals it is forbidden to use electrical devices. Those that were off before the holy day started must be left off, and those that were on must be left on and not adjusted. So while weekday services can be and are broadcast on Zoom (though that is inadequate for the previous two reasons) it’s not possible to do on any holy day.

(There is one rabbi in Melbourne who is violating this law and holding an online shule, and has presented his justifications for it, but almost nobody accepts them or him. But even he says this does not constitute praying with a quorum, and that one must hear the shofar in person.)

The premier sounds dangerously unhinged-if Australians don’t stop this, they’re going to wake up with zero freedoms–they’re already well on their way

Nothing says “Mark of the Beast” like getting locked out the economy for noncompliance!

Just goes to show two-bit tin-horn dictators can pop up even in what used to be a free country. And I hope he’s really not as doofus as he appears from his picture, although he’s certainly acting that way.
