President Joe Biden’s administration is losing in Afghanistan and in the U.S.
They’ve reached the victim-blaming portion of the argument.
CBS News anchor Norah O’Donnell asked Ross Wilson why the U.S. did not get out Americans and our Afghan allies before everything went downhill.
Ross: We put out repeated warnings every three weeks to Americans going back to, I think, March or April. Each one in stronger terms to leave now, leave immediately. Never in my 40 years in my working at the State Department have I seen such strong language used. People chose not to leave. That’s their business. That’s their right. We regret now that many may find themselves in a position they’d rather not be in. We are determined to try to help them.
Okay, Mr. Wilson. What strong language did the State Department use? Biden said in July the Taliban wouldn’t take over Afghanistan. We heard the Taliban didn’t have the capabilities to take over Afghanistan. We heard that even if they ever did take over Afghanistan it would be about in six months.
We also heard the U.S Embassy in Kabul would remain open and safe.
So what is it? Who is lying? Is everyone lying? Oh, who am I kidding? It’s the government. All they do is lie.
Shame on you, Mr. Wilson.
